There are several types of life test method for hose assemblies. The two major tests used for hose assemblies are impulse test and burst test. And magnification adjustment of impulse pressure, heating of testing oil and repetitive motions of bending and straightening of testing hose are also performed for accelerating the life. According to the manufacture process of hose and swaging process of fitting, there is a difference in the life of hose assemblies from minimum 7 times to maximum 40 times during the life test in the same functioning condition. Like this, the life test of hose which has a wide scope of life distribution gives a problem that observation should take a long time to find out the existence of the bursting from the beginning of the test to the completion of bursting of hose assemblies. Therefore, this research proposes a process of concentrating on the defective section of hose assemblies and maximizing the life acceleration by giving 'Knockdown stress' to hose assemblies just until before the hose assemblies get out of order.

A shell and tube type oil cooler for the construction equipment has been widely used due to its superior characteristics of heat exchange. Now a day, the geometry of the tube equipped in the shell is changed to the spiral form in order to maintain a wide effective electric heating surface. An optimal design taking into account of size and quantity of the tubes is also carried out for better performance of the oil cooler. In this study, the oil cooler with various geometries was manufactured, and the characteristics of the heat exchange were investigated by the experimental performance test.

북방지역에 많이 보급되고 있는 일광형 온실은 구조적으로 동고가 낮고 천창이 없어 환기가 매우 불량하여 저온기에는 온실내부의 습도가 높아 병발생률이 높으며, 고온기 여름에는 온도가 높아 온실에 작물을 입식하지 못하고 있어 온실 이용효율이 매우 낮은 실정이다. 또한 온실 북벽의 단열재로 흙벽을 사용하여 설치비용이 매우 높아 경제성이 낮은 것이 단점이다. 이러한 단점을 개선한 북방지역 수출용 K-Farm의 하나로 일광형 스마트팜 온실모델은 설치비와 설치노력이 적게 드는 염가형 일광온실, 보온성이 뛰어나며 에너지가 절감되는 온실, 내설·내풍형 온실, 고온기 환기효율을 높이는 온실, 온실 측고를 높여 과채류 재배가 가능하고 균일한 환경을 유지시킬 수 있는 온실, 스마트온실로 환경 제어가 용이한 온실을 목표로 삼고 일광형 온실 모델을 개발하였다. 일광온실 개발 세부 유형은 Low Technology & Low cost, Mid Technology & Mid cost, High Technology & High cost 등으로 구분하여 기술적인 면과 경제적인 면을 고려하였다. 온실 빗면각도는 적설심이 40cm 이하의 지역은 남측면과 북측면 빗면 각도를 24o와 35o로 하고, 적설심이 40cm 이상인 지역은 내재해형으로 30o와 45o로 하였으며, 온실폭에서 일반온실은 7m. 8m, 9m로 하고, 내재해형은 5m, 6m, 7m, 8m 범위로 하여 적설과 풍하중을 견디도록 하였고, 남쪽 측고는 0.8m~1.8m, 북쪽 측고는 2.3m~4.2m까지 설정하였다. 개선된 설계 특징 중 가장 두드러지는 부분은 보온성 강화를 위해 온실 사방 외벽을 깊이 50cm까지 단열재를 줄기초로 설계하여 온실 외부에서 지하로 전달되는 냉기를 차단하였으며, 단열재 두께는 추운 정도에 따라 200~500mm 까지 선택범위를 두었다. 불량한 환기를 개선하기 위해 온실 동고 북측면에 환기용 Rack and Pinion 천창과 남쪽 측면에 귄취식 환기창을 두었고, 외부 보온 및 차광용 AL 스크린을 설치하여 시설내부에 Fog System을 설치하여 냉방 효과를 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 내부 2중하우스에는 귄취식 다겹보온커튼과 남측면에는 환기용 귄취식 내부측면 환기시설을 설치하여 원활한 환기를 꾀하였고, 온실 양측면에 강제환기팬을 설치하여 저온기 환기 효율을 높였다. 내재해형의 경우 3~4m 간격으로 트러스형 서까래를 설치하여 내풍·내설에 견디도록 하였다. 또한 온실 양측면 마구리에서 동측면 출입구는 평소 온실 관리자 출입문으로 활용하고 서쪽 측면은 작기 전환시 대형 농기계가 온실에 들어가 작업이 가능하도록 출입문을 크게 설계하여 작업성을 높였다. 이러한 다양한 온실 개폐장치 등은 전동식으로 작동하여 근권환경제어와 함께 스마트팜 복합환경제어 시스템으로 환경을 조절할 수 있는 수출용 K-Farm 일광형 온실모델을 개발하였다.

Recently, the demand of large-scaled excavators putting into construction fields for industrial plants has been increased, so that domestic construction-equipment industries are beginning with the production of 85ton-class excavators and putting forth for the localization of their components. A track drive unit, one of the important components of these excavators, can't be produced domestically, but the whole quantity is imported from Japan and Italy. To insure a competitive power of the domestic 85ton-class excavators, the localization of the track drive unit is highly required. In this study, an experimental comparative-analysis for main functional characteristics of imported track drive units was carried out, and then technical specifications were investigated, which will be required for the domestic production of 85ton-class track drive unit.

The yaw gear box of a wind power generator is a key device that rotates several hundred tons (200 to 600 tons) of nacelle so that the blade is 90 degrees in the direction of wind to improve power generation efficiency. Recently, in order to increase the economic efficiency of wind power generators and utilize excellent wind resources, the installation site is expanding from land to sea as it has become super-large to 8-12MW. The target life of large wind power generators requires more than 25 to 30 years. The yaw gearbox is installed in 6 to 12 parallels in very complex places above the tower and below the nacelle, and if a failure occurs after installation, it is important to ensure reliability of the yaw gearbox because it costs tens to hundreds of times the price of a new product as well as economic damage. In order to secure the reliability of the gear box, the equivalent load was calculated by analyzing the failure mode analysis and the Filed data, and the accelerated life test condition was established, and the test device was constructed to analyze the performance degradation.
