디자인 교육에 있어 기하학적 기초조형의 재인식 및 중요성에 관한 연구 - 기하학적 조형 축의 운동성을 중점으로 -

At this point in history, Design is poised to undergo major evolutionary changes. New technologies, new materials and increasingly sophisticated consumer tastes all demand colossal transformations. Perhaps most exciting among these is the development of aesthetic form which entails the aesthetic design in general. At design schools around the world, students are being trained to create the objects that fill our lives. Sadly, with few exceptions, today's young designers are walking out into the world without specific aesthetic training in school. Thus, objectives of this study is re-recognition of geometric form to stimulate new thinking and new potentials through this practice and designers will not just create forms, but choreograph those forms to open a new dimension for the aesthetic development of physical objects and the world will be richer for it. The range and method of this study include incorporating the creative and experiential application of geometric form into their vocabulary and suggest designers to produce more exciting and more unified designs, which will in turn lead to greater commercial success. In order to meet this demand within the profession, design schools with systemize aesthetic theory and practice will increasingly needed. Consequently, it will produce graduates who know how their design should appear. Thus, this studies uses geometric form related materials such as thesis, published books, various journals, photos and internet references. Also the research was carried out on the basis of my teaching experience in school for many years This study is understanding the recognition of importance of geometric form study is one of most essential process in design education. The main contents of this study is also develop the ability to apply this knowledge through inner discipline for design field of self expression in various of situation. 역사의 시점에서, 디자인은 중요한 진화적 변화를받아들어야 하는 위치에 서있다. 새로운 기술, 새로운재료와 더욱더 섬세한 소비자의 취향이 변화하며 이에 따른 대응이 요구된다. 아마도 이들 중 가장 흥미로운 것은 일반적으로 미적 디자인을 기반으로 하는미적 형태의 개발이 될 것이다. 전 세계의 디자인 학교에서 학생들은 우리의 삶을풍요롭게 하기 위한 디자인 작업 과정 훈련을 하고있지만 아쉽게도 이들 대부분이 전문적 미적 감각 훈련이 결여 된 체 세상 밖으로 나오고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 기하학적 형태에 대한 디자인사고의 재인식 및 교육 과정 확대를 통해 잠재되어진 디자인 전공 대학생들의 창의적 사고를 자극하여 그들이 디자인의 기본을 이해하고 나아가 디자이너로서의 역량을 키워나가는데 교육적 도움을 주고자하는 것이다. 연구방법과 범위는 기하학적 형태에 대한 개념과적용방식을 중심으로 전문가로서 다양한 소비자의요구와 수요를 충족시키기 위해 디자인 학교 교육의나아가야 할 방향을 제시하는 것에 중점을 두고, 점차적으로 디자이너 자신의 디자인을 표현하는 방법을알도록 훈련시켜 사회의 요구에 부합하는 디자인 인력으로 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 디자인교육의 체계화를 제시하고 있다. 이를 위해 기하학적 형태에 관한학술논문, 발표논문, 단행본 등 다양한 문헌들과 그림자료, 인터넷 자료들을 활용하고, 본인의 교육적 경험을 토대로 연구가 진행되었다. 디자인 전공 대학생들에게 기하학적 조형 교육의중요성을 재인식 시키고자 진행 되어진 본 연구의 중요성은 대학의 디자인교육에 있어 이러한 지식을 자기표현 또는 산업을 위한 디자인 분야의 다양한 상황에 적용시킬 수 있도록 반드시 필요한 내적 훈련을거쳐야 함을 재인식 시키는 것에 있다.

디자인 교육에 있어 조형상의 네거티브 공간에 대한 재인식 및 중요성에 관한 연구 -3차원 디자인 관련 전공을 중점으로-

The appropriate way to approach design is to have a strong belief in our intuitive sense of form and space, with consideration for functional needs. These principles are necessary in order for design to be a product both designer and consumer alike can appreciate and enjoy. Space is one of the essential design elements where we can find and identify individual characteristics in art and design. The main concepts of space―positive and negative space or volume in design―is to encourage us to observe two opposite circumstances as a whole, not as two different extremes. It blurs the line between subject and object, and rather embraces them as a whole. Instead of drawing a divide between positive and negative space, the two can work harmoniously as a system of reciprocity.1) From my experiences of having taught design students, they have not unlocked the full potential use of negative space. Therefore, the objectives of this study is to stimulate a revitalized recognition for negative space, in which may pave new ways of seeing and thinking. Through implementing this new lens, designers will not only generate new forms, but will be able to unleash a new dimension of aesthetics where physical objects can partake to make our environment a richer place. The range and method of this study introduces ways for how creative and experiential application of negative space(volume) in design education can satisfy the consumer and market’s needs. In order to meet this standard of design, the systematic aesthetic theory and practice in both professional and academic settings will be pivotal. In the result, students will be more knowledgeable of the importance of negative space in design. By support of this study, research was built from materials related to 3-dimensional negative space consisting of published books, various journals, photos and digital references. On top of my research, my experience teaching design for many years have also contributed to this design study. This study is for readers to understand the aesthetics of abstract 3-dimensional forms and their relation to negative space and volume. To explain the basis of negative space in abstract form, the study features case studies conducted by students in which they analyzed a variety of geometric and organic forms through the process of experimental 3-dimensional sketches. The contents and results of this research emphasizes the ares of design education in which are neglected and understated. Especially for those students who major in 3-D related design, the innovative and systematic training of abstract 3-dimensional forms must be at the foundation of their education and throughout their design practice. Consequently, this study is an opportunity for creative institutions to re-evaluate and re-establish the core values for what defines a successful design product – both aesthetically and functionally. 디자이너는 자신의 직관적인 형태와 공간 대한 강한 믿음과 동시에 기능적 요소도 함께 고려되어야 한다. 이에 따른 결과로서 우리 모두 감상하고 즐길 수있는 디자인이 될 수 있을 것이다. 여기에 공간은 우리가 예술과 디자인에서 개성과 특별함을 식별할 수 있는 필수적인 디자인 요소 중 하나이다. 디자인에서 포지티브 공간과 네거티브 공간(볼륨)의주된 개념은 우리가 이 두 가지 다른 극단 또는 상반되는 상황을 전체적으로 관찰하도록 재인식하는 것이다. 그것은 포지티브 공간과 네거티브 공간 사이에 선을 긋지 않고 주제와 대상 사이의 경계를 어우러지게하거나 전체적으로 포용하는 것이다. 상호보완 시스템이라 할 수 있다. 하지만 디자인 교육 경험을 통해 학생들의 네거티브 공간에 대한 이해의 부족으로 네거티브 공간을 감성적이고 깊이 있게 다루지 못하고 있다. 따라서 연구의 목적은 기하학적 형태에 대한 디자인사고의 재인식 및 교육 과정 확대를 통해 잠재된디자인 전공 대학생들의 창의적 사고를 자극하여 그들이 디자인의 기본을 이해하고 나아가 디자이너로서의 역량을 키워나가는 교육적 도움을 주고자 한다. 연구 방법과 범위는 기본적 네거티브 공간(볼륨)에대한 개념과 적용방식의 인식을 중심으로 다양한 소비자와 시장의 요구와 수요를 충족시키기 위해 더욱보완된 디자인 학교 교육의 나갈 방향을 전문적으로제시하는 것에 중점을 두고 있다. 이에 따른 결과로서디자이너 자신의 디자인을 표현하는 방법을 알도록훈련하여 사회적 요구에 부합된 디자인 인력으로 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 기초 디자인 교육의 체계화를제시하고 있다. 이를 위해 이번 연구에서는 네거티브공간(볼륨)에 관한 단행본 및 다양한 문헌들과 그림자료, 인터넷 자료들을 활용하고, 본인의 수년간 교육적 경험을 토대로 연구가 진행되었다. 따라서 이번 연구는 네거티브 공간과 볼름에 관련된기본 형태를 이루는 추상적 3차원 조형과 3차원 디자인 관련 사례 분류, 재료 및 감각 훈련 등 기초 디자인 교육에 관한 연구내용이 포함된다. 기초 디자인 교육 연구를 위한 다양한 네거티브 공간에 대한 3차원적실험 작업 과정을 설명하고, 기준이 된 추상적 기본형태와 유기적 기본 형태 스케치 작품들로 완성된 다양한 3차원 학생작품들의 사례들을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과로서 미래 지향적인 디자인 교육의목표와 내용을 전면적으로 재검토하는 계기가 되길바라고, 구체적으로는 그동안 심도 있게 다루지 못해온 체계적인 추상적 3차원 조형 교육이 3차원 디자인관련 전공 학생들에게 심도 있게 교육되길 기대한다. 이러한 교육을 통해 우리 디자인 교육의 경쟁력을 높이고 심미성과 기능성을 갖춘 창의적인 디자인 제품의 가치를 제공할 수 있기 때문이다.

제한적 수집 환경에서의 머신러닝 기법 예측력 비교 연구

Purpose: This study proposes data collection guidelines for potential restrictive environments. Methods: First, data were generated from a linear model, a nonlinear product convey model, and a nonlinear wind turbine model. The three data sets were then used for training three machine learning methods, namely, LR, ANN, and SVM, respectively. Then, compare with the RMSE of each method of the data generated from each model. Results: The LR analysis method showed better performance than the other methods, regardless of the effect of the data size and noise on the linear model. Among the nonlinear models, the ANN method is not recommended in the absence of noise. However, in the presence of noise, especially for high noise levels, this method is recommended over the other methods. Conclusion: Since noise significantly degrades the performance of the methods, effective noise management is recommended during the data collection process. In addition, key features can be extracted even with a small amount of data, and the generated data can be utilized for analysis. Therefore, data quality should be prioritized over data quantity.

In this report, a new method compounding the electrolytic machining with ball end milling process to increase the machining efficiency was introduced. And the cutting characteristics by electrolytic machining conditions was examined. From the experimental results, it was confirm-ed that effect of cutting force reduction obtained at the condition of transpassive state of electrolytic machining conditions.

What makes some visual combinations more exciting and dynamic than others? Why is one arrangement of the same set of objects more pleasing than another? The answer is visual contrast - the designer’s secret tool. Thus, objectives of this study is the re-recognition of contrast in proportion and balance of form to stimulate new thinking and new potentials. Through this practice, designers will not only create forms, but choreograph contrast to open a new dimension for the aesthetic value. The range and method of this study include the incorporation of creative and experiential application of contrast in proportion and balance into the vocabulary of designers to produce more exciting and unified designs. Thus, this studies uses references of related materials such as thesis, published books, journals, photos and internet references which explain and illustrates the contrast of proportion and balance of form. Also the research was carried out on the basis of my teaching experience in school for many years The main contents of this study is to develop the ability for attractive application of knowledge through inner discipline for design field of self expression in various of situation by recognition of contrast of proportion and balance of form. Mobile VoIP 기술 동향 및 분석

Voice over IP is a telephone service which sends and receives the voices through the Internet. Because the infrastructure of wireless and mobile communication networks such as 3G, Wi-Fi and WiMAX has expanded, the study about Mobile VoIP, which provides the voice service from wireless network, has been actively in progress. Since Rel 6 HSPA in 3GPP and Rev A 1xEVDO in 3GPP2, VoIP through the data channel is more efficient than circuit switch. It is predicted that VoIP over 4G will be more effective and 4G mobile VoIP business will be vitalized in the future. In addition, there are businesses which offer VoWLAN by using software such as Skype and Fring. They provide services which cheapen the price of international calls and long distance calls. This paper will present the Korean and other countries’ mobile VoIP trends, its classification along the network connection, the study on techniques, and conditions of mobile VoIP. It also will be described a view of terminal convergence and service convergence.

디자인 제품에 있어 폴리프로필렌 소재의 가치성에 관한 연구

오늘날 플라스틱은 전 산업에 걸쳐서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 플라스틱 없이 , 냉장고 문 저장 공간, 세탁기 교반기 그리고 경량 휴대용 에어컨디셔너들과 같은 제품의 특징들은 가능하지 않았을 것이다. 플라스틱의 높은 강도와 가벼운 무게의 비율, 부식 저항률, 색상 재현성, 그리고 다양한 성형성은 우리에게 값싸고 품질 좋은 제품을 제공하고 있다. 그 중 에서도 플라스틱 소재중 하나인 폴리프로필렌을 연구, 분석 하고자 함은 전반적인 세계적 수요와 다른 플라스틱 소재 중 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있는 다양한 소재의 응용성 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 우리의 일상생활에서 사용하고 있는 폴리프로필렌 소재를 응용하여 생산된 제품의 특성을 고찰하고 사용 범위를 분석하여 디자인된 제품으로서의 가치를 재조명 하고 또한 이에 따른 디자이너의 새로운 역할과 가치성을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 본 논문은 폴리프로필렌의 특징적 기능에 대한 분석 자료와 디자인 되어진 몇 가지 사례 제품들을 토대로 객관적인 연구를 진행하였다. 또한 이런 맥락에서 본 논문은 근본적으로 사출 금형, 섬유 및 필름/시트 와 같은 세 가지 주요 제조 방법을 응용한 디자이너의 새로운 역할에 대한 인식과 이러한 가치성의 토대를 전재로 개발 되어진 디자인을 연구의 범위로 정하였다. 본 연구의 내용과 결과로서 폴리프로필렌은 제품의 특징과 가치를 현저하게 변화시킴으로서 산업 전반에 큰 혁명을 제시하고 있으며 미래적인 제품 활용으로서, 우리의 산업에 매우 경쟁적이고 혁신적인 산업과 동시에 소비자뿐만 아니라 디자이너에게도 보다 나은 가치를 제공 하고 있기 때문이다. Today, plastics are widely used throughout the entire industry. Without plastic refrigerator door storage space, washing machine agitators, and lightweight features of products such as portable air conditioners and they would not have been possible. Its light-weight ratio of high-strength, corrosion resistivity, color reproduction, and various applications that plastics can provide cheap and quality products. Find cause to research and analyze the polypropylene is that this material`s overall global demand is growing rapidly among any other plastic materials and various applicabilities of this material. This study aims to examine the applications and characteristics of polypropylene that can be used in our everyday life. This paper also emphasis on the values of designed products by using this material. In this context, this paper had been studied objectively to introduced the few examples of designed products. In addition, the ranges of this study include designers to recognize and evaluate the new roles and values of this material by using three major fabrication such as injection molding, fiber and film/sheet. As a result of this study, the content and characteristics of polypropylene products significantly change the competitive and innovative future industry. At the same time, it provide better values to both designers and consumers as well.
