Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is one of the main viral causes of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and is associated with lymphoproliferative disorder such as non-Hodgkin``s lymphoma (NHL). However, there are only few case reports on concomitantly induced NHL and HCC by HCV. Herein, we report a case of synchronous NHL and HCC in a patient with chronic hepatitis C which was unexpectedly diagnosed during liver transplantation surgery. This case suggests that although intrahepatic lymph node enlargements are often considered as reactive or metastatic lymphadenopathy in chronic hepatitis C patients with HCC, NHL should also be considered as a differential diagnosis. The purpose of this study was to analyze to compare their characters though trainees of Taekwondo and Taegukkwon. This study carried out group interview to 142 students for Taekwondo group at the Department of Taekwondo, K -university, Daegu Metropolitan City, and 124 students for Taegeukkwon group at the Department of Martial Arts, Shenyang Physical Education College, China, and then, collected the effective questionnaires from 210 students(84.8%) excluding insincere respondents. The results are as follows : First, in comparison by event, Taekwondo showed higher significance than Taegeukkwon at intelligence, self-intensity, passion, and guilty conscience, while Taegeukkwon showed higher significance than Taekwondo at susceptibility, distrust, progressiveness, and self-satisfaction. Second, in comparison by sex, boy students showed higher significance than girl students at geniality, self-intensity, morality, susceptibility, and practicality, while girl students showed higher significance than boy students at intelligence and self-satisfaction. Third, in comparison by career and event(boy students) Taekwondo showed higher adventure, susceptibility and mastery than Taegeukkwon in case under 5years, while Taegeukkwon showed higher tendency in case of 6years or more. Fourth, the mastery and the guilty conscience was significantly high to Taekwondo and Taegeukkwon(girl students) at the more career. Howerever Taekwondo showed higher guilty conscience than Taegeukkwon. In case under 5years, Taegeukkwon showed higher morality, while Taekwondo showed higher morality in case of 6years or more. However, in case under 5years, Taekwondo showed higher speculation, while Taegeukkwon showed higher speculation in case of 6years or more. In conclusion, Taekwondo appeared to be more brisk and positive in comparison with Taegeukkwon, while Taegeukkwon could be considered to be more stable and self-centered.
Jellison Modine 분산식을 이용안 유기발광물질 Alq<sub>3</sub>의 광학상수 결정

유기발광물질 $Alq_3$(alumina quinoline)의 단일박막을 열 증착(thermal evaporation)방법에 의하여 실리콘(c-Si)기판과 슬라이드유리(slide glass) 기판위에 제작하였다. 박막 제작 후 가변입사각운광타원계(VASE : Variable Angle Spectroscopic Ellipsometer)를 사용하여 1.50~5.0 eV 광 에너지 영역에서 타원 각(ellipsometry angle) ${\Delta}$, ${\Psi}$를 측정하였다. 이 측정결과들을 Jellison Modine 분산관계식을 사용하여 최적맞춤하고, 매개변수들을 구하여 박막의 광학상수인 굴절계수와 소광계수를 결정하였다. 결정한 광학상수의 정확성올 확인하기 위하여 투과율을 전산 시늉하고, 흡수계수(absorption coefficient)와 분광광도계로 측정한 흡광도(absorbance)의 스펙트럼 비교로 분석의 정확성을 확인하였다. We deposited thin films of organic light-emitting-material $Alq_3$(alumina quinoline) on silicon and slide-glass substrates using thermal evaporation method, and measured spectra of ellipsometry angles ${\Delta}$ and ${\Psi}$ in the photon-energy range of 1.5~5.0 eV using a variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometer. The optical constants, refractive index and extinction coefficient, of $Alq_3$ were determined via the dispersion parameters extracted from the curve-fitting process based on Jellison-Modine dispersion function. The reliability of determined optical constants were verified through the comparison of measured and simulated transmittance curves and the good agreement between simulated absorption-coefficient curves and absorbance spectra measured using a spectrophotometer.

This study was carried out to determine the causative agent and the epidemiological features of canine dermatitis in Tae-gu, Korea from 1997 to 1998. Specimens of collected from skin lesions were examined mycologically, parasitologically and bacteriologically. In all, 70 dogs of differing ages, gender and living environment were sampled. In mycological examination during this period, pathogenic fungi were cultured from 29(41.3%) of 70 canine specimens. Dermatophytes were cultured from 15(21.4%) and Malassezia pachydermatis were 14(20.0%) of the specimens. The frequent dermatophytes isolated were Microsporum canis (12.9%). Trichophyton mentagrophytes (4.3%), T rubrum (2.9%), T raubitschekii and M gypseum (each 1.4%). There was a high proportion of positive cultures from dogs less than 1 year and over than 3 years of age, and in some long haired breeds, but there was no significant difference between the sexes, and the living environments. Although dermatophytes were more frequently isolated in spring and winter, no significant difference was detected in the seasonal distribution of the canine dermatophytosis. Out of 70 dogs, dermatitis ectoparasites(27.1%; Demodex canis 18.6% and Sarcoptes scabie 8.6%) and bacterial pyoderma(40.4%) were diagnosed. Demodex canis and Sarcoptes scabie were common canine ectoparasites, with a higher incidence in short haired breeds and in summer and winter. Bacterial pyoderma was a higher incidence in long haired breeds, and in summer. In the pathogenic agents isolated from 57 dogs(81.4%), single infection rate was 66.7%(38 dogs) and mixed infection rate was, 35.1%(19 dogs). In the majority of mixed infection cases, Gram positive cocci and Malassezia pachydermatis (in 5 cases, 8.8%), as well as ectoparasites(in 6 cases, 10.5%) were demonstrated simultaneously.
