The National Environmental Specimen Bank (NESB) has set up a plan to develop reference materials in the facility for assuring analytical quality and validating analytical methods for its monitoring samples. Some of the crucial characteristics that reference materials must consist of are homogeneity and stability of both intra and inter-bottles. In this study, we examined the homogeneity and stability of cryogenically-milled muscle samples, from Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio) for total mercury. Homogeneity was tested using ANOVA analysis and regression analysis was used to test short-term stability. The variations of total mercury concentration did not significantly differ between the intra and the inter-bottle (F=0.8, p=0.37). Additionally, relative standard deviation of the total mercury concentration showed low values (2.28%). For the short-term stability test, total mercury variations were not statistically significant as demonstrated by the result of the regression analysis (F ratio = 3.11, p = 0.18). This suggests that the cryogenic-milling process has statistically proven the degree of homogeneity and short-term stability for samples of carp muscles in the chemical analysis for total mercury.

태양광전원(PV)이 계통에 연계됨에 따라 전압변동과 전력품질에 문제가 발생되고 있다. 이에 전기저 장장치(BESS)를 이용하여 이런한 문제들을 해결하기 위한 방안이 제시되고 있으나 체계적인 분석이 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PV와 BESS가 연계된 복합배전계통을 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이 용하여 모델링을 수행하였고, 시험장치를 제작하여 PV출력과 BESS의 충·방전상태에 따른 전압변동특 성과 역률변동시험을 수행한 결과, 본 연구에서 제시한 방안의 유용성을 확인하였다.

Recently, high vacuum pumps are widely used in the semi-conduction and liquid-crystal display(LCD) process. In this study, pumping performance of two type vacuum pumps compared compound drag pump (CDP) with compound molecular pump (CMP). Two pumps are considered: CDP is combined a helical-type and disk-type drag pump, and CMP is combined a turbo molecular pump (TMP) and disk-type drag pump. We measured the ultimate pressure, pumping speed and compression ratio in the outlet pressure range from 0.4 to 533 ㎩ for vacuum pumps.

전력 시스템은 인간이 만든 시스템 가운데 가장 크고 복잡한 시스템이다. 현대 디지털 경제 사회의 인 프라는 전력시스템을 통한 전기에너지의 공급과 기술에 기초하고 있다. 전력시스템은 대용량화, 대규모 화, 고 효율화를 위한 시설증대와 기술개발로 이루어져 있다. 사람이 직접 사고 현장을 가지 않고 컴퓨 터로 제어함으로써 사람의 번거로움을 기계가 대신해 줌으로서 사람의 생활을 보다 편리하며 효율성 측면에서도 기여함에 틀림이 없는 사실이다. 따라서 디지털 정보화 사회에서 언제 어디서나 인간과 설 비들이 컴퓨터와 통신네트워크에 의해 접속되는 유비쿼터스 화 사회의 에너지와 정보통신 인프라 역할 로 새롭게 전환 될 수 있음을 인식하는 전력감시시스템을 PLC 기술을 이용하여 저렴하게 구현하였다.

The objective of this study is to investigate the changes of the performance of steam heated generator of absorption chiller as influenced by the characteristics of the heating tubes inserted in its generator. The absorbent and the refrigerant flowing inside the generator are LiBr and water, respectively. The experiments were done based on a 58% absorbent concentration. In the experiments, the inlet and outlet temperatures of the absorbent and the inlet and outlet temperature of the refrigerant in the generator are measured. Also, the pressure of the generator and the flow rate of the refrigerant and the absorbent we measured. Tests were conducted on different types of heating tubes under the same experimental conditions and the values of the overall heat transfer coefficient are measured.
미립화 및 분무장치 1 : 이상유체 분사기의 분사조건에 따른 분무 형상 연구

Gas-centered swirl coaxial injectors are widely used for staged combustion cycle engines. In recent years, the gas-centered swirl coaxial injector has attracted much attention for the high-power application in liquid rocket engines because of its efficient atomization characteristics. The understanding of the spray characteristics of the gas-centered swirl coaxial injector is indispensible for the design of more reliable and efficient injectors dedicated to liquid rocket engines. In particular, experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of momentum flux ratio on the spray pattern of the gas-centered swirl injector. The curvature radius of the spray was predicted using the spray angle measured by image process techniques. The experimental results showed that the curvature radius increases with the increment of the momentum flux ratio.
