Biological Control Activity of Two Isolates of Pseudomonas fluorescens againstRice Sheath Blight

Two isolates of mucous bacteria, mc75 and pc78, were isolated from fungal culture plate as culture contaminants with an interesting swarming motility. Both isolates were identified as Pseudomonas fluorescens based on microscopy, biochemical analysis, Biolog test and DNA sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA gene. Both strains have the exactly the same 16S rRNA gene sequences, and yet their biological control activity were not identical each other. In vitro analysis of antagonistic activity of two isolates against several plant pathogenic fungi indicated that both produced diffusible and volatile antifungal compounds of unknown identities. Treatment of the bacterial culture of P. fluorescens pc78 and its culture filtrate exhibited a strong biological control activity against rice sheath blight in vivo among six plant diseases tested. More effective disease control activity was obtained from treatment of bacterial culture than that of culture filtrate. Therefore, in addition to antifungal compound and siderophore production, other traits such as biofilm formation and swarming motility on plant surface may contribute to the biological control activity of P. fluorescens pc78 and mc75.

Purpose : This study was conducted to survey the perception of the enactment of the nursing act among the non-health personnel. Methods : This study is a descriptive research study applying the content analysis method with a view to identify the degree of perception of the enactment of the nursing act perceived by non-Health personnel residing in seoul and gyeonggi-do from may 31, 2022 through november 1, 2022. Results : As a result of this study, a total of 36 categories and 95 statements were secured regarding the definition of the nursing act, the importance of the nursing act, the merits of enactment of the nursing act, the disadvantages of the enactment of the nursing act, and the need for education related to the nursing act. Conclusion : According to the results of this study, the advantages of enacting the nursing act are the improved treatment of nurses, expansion of medical services, and an increase in the level of nursing care. whereas, it was perceived that financial problems due to the friction with other occupations, damage to nurses, rigidity of the nursing act, and the increased number of nursing personnel would be disadvantages. There was also the perception that there was a need for education on the precautions of the nursing act, medical theory, nurse and patient benefits, and the scope of nurse work. Accordingly, the nursing act is a universal legislative system common for the world and is a law that articulates and specifies the work of nursing personnel.
슬관절 퇴행성 관절염에 속발된 관절의 변화와 전방십자인대 기능 소실과의 연관성에 관한 연구

목적: 슬관절의 퇴행성 관절염에 속발된 관절의 변화와 전방십자인대 기능 소실과의 연관성을 찾고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2003년 5월부터 2008년 1월까지 슬관절의 퇴행성 관절염으로 인공관절 치환술을 시행받은 815예를 대상으로 하여 굴곡 구축, 대퇴-경골간 각, 경골극의 전위 및 후내측 경골 고평부 마모를 측정하여 이 소견들과 전방십자인대 기능소실과의 관련성을 분석하였다. 결과: 전방십자인대가 비정상인 환자군과 정상인 환자군의 굴곡구축의 평균은 각각 10.7°, 8.8°로 전방십자인대 소실 유무에 따른 굴곡 구축의 정도에 유의한 차이를 보였다(p=0.001). 대퇴 경골간 각은 전방십자인대가 비정상인 환자군과 정상인 환자군의 평균이 각각 내반 7.97°, 4.38°로 기능 소실 유무에 따른 내반 변형의 정도는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었으며(p=0.000) 15° 이상의 내반을 보이는 예에서는 77.6%에서 전방십자인대의 기능이 소실되어 있었다. 경골극 전위는 전방십자인대 소실 유무를 예견할 수는 없었다. 후내측 경골 고평부 마모는 전방십자인대가 비정상인 군에서 유의하게 높아서 골 마모와 인대의 소실과는 유의한 상관 관계가 있었으며(p=0.000) 마모가 있는 군의 85%에서 전방십자인대가 소실되어 있었다. 결론: 15° 이상의 내반 변형과 후내측 경골 고평부의 마모는 전방십자인대의 소실을 반영할 수 있을 것으로 생각되었다. Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the arthritic changes and a deficiency of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in osteoarthritic knees. Materials and Methods: Between May 2003 and January 2008, 815 cases of total knee arthroplasty that were due to degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee were enrolled in this study. Flexion contracture, the tibia-femoral angle, translocation of the tibial spine and erosion on the posteromedial tibial plateau were assessed and we tried to determine the relationship between these findings and an ACL-deficiency. Results: The mean flexion contracture in the knees with a deficient ACL was 10.7° and this was 8.8° in the knees with an intact ACL, and this difference was statistically significant (p=0.001). The tibia-femoral angle of the patients with an ACL-deficiency was 7.97° varus on average, and that for patients with an intact ACL was 4.38° varus, and the difference was found to be highly dependent upon the ACL`s integrity (p=0.000). 77.6% of the knees with varus deformity exceeding 15° showed an abnormal ACL. Translocation of the tibial spine doesn`t predict ACL integrity. Bone erosion on the posteromedial tibial plateau was significantly frequent in patients with ACL-deficient knees (p=0.000). For the knees with erosion on the posteromedial tibial plateau, 85% of these knees showed an ACL deficiency. Conclusion: Varus deformity exceeding 15° and erosion on the posteromedial tibial plateau can reflect ACL deficiency.

In this paper we implement a remote monitoring system to create customized musculoskeletal rehabilitation devices, introduce the structures and properties of 3D printer filament materials which have the flexible tactile sensor entered into the rehabilitation equipment material with multiple nozzle 3D printers In addition, the material with the properties of the filament flexible tactile sensor proposed in this paper is a brittle and elastic material, and its length is adjusted by using a micro-stage within the elastic range limits, and the resistance value is measured and analyzed. As a result, the resistance increased up to 190%. As the experiment repeated, the conductive filament did not win the tension and was cut off, resulting in infinite divergence and disconnection of the electrode.
