Recently, 3D printing has been introduced as a new solution for product production rather than prototype due to rapid development of technology. In this paper, 3D printing flexible resistance sensor was developed using flexible polyurethane and conductive PLA filament. and then its performance evaluation was carried out. The performance evaluation of the 3D printing flexible resistance sensor measured the change of resistance while increasing the sensor length by 5, 10, 15 mm in 0.5 mm increments. Experimental results show that a constant resistance change pattern appears when the sensor length increases by 5 or 10 mm. This indicates a possibility as a resistance sensor. However, 15mm deformation exceeding the elastic limit of the conductive electrode could not perform sensor performance due to damage of the conductive electrode. In order to use the 3D printing flexible sensor attached to the human body, it should be applied within a range that does not exceed the elastic limit of the printing electrode. This study confirmed the possibility of a 3D printing flexible resistance sensor which would be very useful for personal wearing devices and human-machine interfaces.

In this paper, we fabricated the capacitive flex-pressure sensor using a dual - nozzle FDM 3D printer and analyzed it. The material of the capacitive flex-pressure sensor in this study was composed of thermoplastic polyurethane and conductive filament. In this experiment the proposed sensor is a sensor of 3x3 cm in width and height. In this experiment, the size of the sensor proposed is composed of a width and height of 3cm. The spacing between the two electrode plates printed with conductive filaments is constant. The printing patterns of thermoplastic polyurethane supporting two conductive plates were fabricated in three types, and their performance was compared and evaluated. For the performance evaluation, various data were collected, compared and evaluated by applying a vertical load at a speed of 1 mm/s from 0N to a maximum of 600N using a single axis actuator Through this study, we confirmed the possibility of fabricating FDM 3D printing capacitive flex-pressure sensor. There are also many possibilities for wireless wearable devices, rehabilitations robot for workers, social weak people, and Hunman Computer Interaction devices.
