Malignant rhabdold tumor is a distinct renal tumor in the pediatric age group. It was originally described as a rhabdomyosarcomatold variant of Wilms' tumor. However, subsequent studies fatted to confirm myogenous differentiation, so it is now considered to be a distinct and unique type of highly malignant tumor, histogenetically unrelated. Although extrarenal forms of this tumor are rare, several examples have been described in other sites, especially the liver, prostate, paravertebral area, urinary bladder and soft tissue. We experienced a case of malignant rhabdiod tumor located in the intraabdominal cavity in a 10 month-old boy. Smear of peritoneal fluid showed round, polygonal and irregular shaped cells with large nuclei, ample cytoplasm containing light pink to purple cytoplasmic inclusions, and one or a few prominent nucleoli. Immunocytochemistry revealed positivity to cytokeratin, epithelial membrane antigen and vimentin, and negativity to desmin and neuron-specific enolase. These distinct cytologic appearance and immunophenotypes were most consistent with a diagnosis of extrarenal malignant rhabdoid tumor. The cytoplasmic inclusions were correlated with eosinophilic inclusions seen in histologic section and electron microscopy confirmed this interpretation, showing filamentous aggregations in the cytoplasms of the tumor cells.
Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr 및 Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe 합금 피복관의 기계적 특성 및 Creep 거동

Since the 1990s, the second generation of Zirconium alloys containing main alloy compositions of Nb, Sn and Fe have been used as a replacement of Zircaloy-4 (Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr), a first-generation Zirconium alloy, to meet severe and rigorous reactor operating conditions characterized by high-burn-up, high-power and high-pH operations. In this study, the mechanical properties and creep behaviors of Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr and Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe alloys were investigated in a temperature range of $450{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ and in a stress range of $80{\sim}150\;MPa$. The mechanical testing results indicate that the yield and tensile strengths of the Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe alloy are slightly higher compared to those of Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr. This can be explained by the second phase strengthening of the $\beta$-Nb precipitates. The creep test results indicate that the stress exponent for the steady-state creep rate decreases with the increase in the applied stress. However, the stress exponent of the Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr alloy is lower than that of the Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe alloy in a relatively high stress range, whereas the creep activation energy of the former is slightly higher than that of the latter. This can be explained by the dynamic deformation aging effect caused by the interaction of dislocations with Sn substitutional atoms. A higher Sn content leads to a lower stress exponent value and higher creep activation energy.
원형 미소 채널 내 드라이 플러그류의 유동 영역 한계와 압력 강하에 관한 실험적 연구

In the present experimental study, the regime limit and pressure drop of dry-plug flow (dry wall condition at the gas portions of plug flow) in round mini-channels has been investigated. The air-water mixture was flowed through the round mini-channels made of Teflon, where the tube diameters ranged from 1.26 to 2.06 ㎜. For the present experimental range, with decreasing of the tube diameter, the transition between the plug and slug flows (wet and dry) happened at the higher gas superficial velocity region, which were in good agreement with the previous flow pattern maps tested. On the other hand, the transition between the wet- and dry-plug flows was little affected by the change of the tube diameter. In the pressure drop of dry-plug flows, among the correlations tested, the Lee and Lee’s (2008) correlation best fitted the measured pressure drop data within the mean deviation of 10 % for the present experimental range.
A Study on Design of PWN DC-DC Switching Power Converter

DC/DC Switching power converters are commonly used to generate a regulated DC output voltage with high-power efficiency from a different DC input source. A switching converter utilizes one or more energy storage elements such as capacitors, or transformers to efficiently transfer energy from the input to the output at periodic intervals. The fundamental boost converter studied here are consisted of a power MOSFET switch, an inductor, a capacitor, a diode, and a PWM (pulse-width modulation) circuit with oscillator, amplifier, and comparator. In this paper, the electrical characteristics of DC/DC power converter are simulated by SPICE and analyzed based on each component specification.
시내버스 준공영제에서 정책노선 운영 제도 도입을 위한 실증적 분석

본 연구는 전국적으로 확산된 시내버스 준공영제를 통해 시내버스 노선에 대한 공공의 개입이 가속화 되면서 수익성은 부족하지만 복지적 측면에서의 소위 정책노선 도입의 요구가 증대되는 현 상황을 파악하고, 정책노선의 개념 정립 및 분류방법을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 정책노선은 운송비용에 비해 운송수입이 현저히 낮은 수익성이 없는 노선, 노선 배분이 공정하게 배분되지 않아 형평성이 타 노선에 비해 부족한 노선, 고령화 인구 분포가 높은 지역을 운행하는 공공성을 갖춘 노선으로 정의하고, 이를 분류하는 정량적 지표를 마련하였다. 이렇게 정립된 개념을 통해 부산광역시에서 운행되고 있는 일반버스 130개 노선을 대상으로 정책노선을 분류하여 8개 노선을 도출하였다. 또한, 정책노선이 운영됨에 있어 대체 노선이 없는 지역을 운행하는 노선에 대해 공공버스 도입을 제안하였다. 공공버스의 경우 수익성이 현저히 저하되지만, 지역 주민들의 활동성 증대와 공공 커뮤니티 확보라는 측면에서 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 정책적으로 도입 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. Recently, the need to introduce bus lines on a welfare basis is increasing as public intervention in bus routes is accelerated through semi-public bus system. The main objective of this study is to establish the concept of PSO (public service obligation) bus line on a welfare basis and propose a classification method of PSO bus line under semi-public bus system. We introduced 3 indexes such as equity in terms of bus line distribution, publicity in terms of age distribution, and profitability in terms of bus operating revenues. On the basis of 3 indexes, we introduced the PSO bus line, which is fair and public, even if it is not profitable. Based on the concept established in this study, we divided 130 ordinary city bus lines in Busan Metropolitan City into 8 PSO bus lines. Also, considering the positive impact of public buses, which are less profitable, but improve the mobility of residents and secure public community, we suggested the need to introduce public buses in bus service shortage areas.
