        PZT계 압전 세라믹 파이버 어레이 복합체를 이용한 미소 풍력 에너지 하베스터

        A piezoelectric ceramic fiber composite (PCFC) was successfully fabricated using $0.69Pb(Zr_{0.47}Ti_{0.53})O_3-0.31[Pb(Zn_{0.4}Ni_{0.6})_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}]O_3$ (PZT-PZNN) for use in small-scale wind energy harvesters. The PCFC was formed using an epoxy matrix material and an array of Ag/Pd-coated PZT-PZNN piezo-ceramic fibers sandwiched by Cu interdigitated electrode patterned polyethylene terephthalate film. The energy harvesting performance was evaluated in a custom-made wind tunnel while varying the wind speed and resistive load with two types of flutter wind energy harvesters. One had a five-PCFC array vertically clamped with a supporting acrylic rod while the other used the same structure but with a five-PCFC cantilever array. Stainless steel (thickness: $50{\mu}m$) was attached onto one side of the PCFC to form the PZT-PZNN cantilever. The output power, in general, increased with an increase in the wind speed from 2 m/s to 10 m/s for both energy harvesters. The highest output power of $15.1{\mu}W$ at $14k{\Omega}$ was obtained at a wind speed of 10 m/s for the flutter wind energy harvester with the PZT-PZNN cantilever array. The results presented here reveal the strong potential for wind energy harvester applications to supply sustainable power to various IoT micro-devices.

        스피커 응용을 위한 적층형 압전 세라믹 액츄에이터 제조 및 특성

        Piezoelectric thick films of soft $Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ (PZT) based commercial material (S55) were fabricated using a conventional tape casting method. Ag-Pd electrodes were printed on the piezoelectric film at room temperature and all 5 layered films with a dimension of $12mm{\times}16mm$ were successfully laminated for a multi-layered piezoelectric ceramic actuator. The laminated specimens were co-fired at $1,100^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. A flat layered and dense microstructure was obtained for the $112{\mu}m$ thick piezoelectric actuator after sintering process. Thereafter, a prototype piezoelectric speaker was fabricated using the multi-layered piezoelectric ceramic actuator which can operate as a bimorph. Its SPL (sound pressure level) characteristic was also evaluated for speaker application. Frequency response revealed that the output SPL with a root mean square voltage of 10 V increased gradually to the highest peak of 87.5 dB for 1.5 kHz and exhibited a relatively stable behavior over the measured frequency range (${\leq}20kHz$) at a distance of 10 cm, implying that the fabricated piezoelectric speaker is potential for speaker applications.

        IDT 전극 패턴 임베디드 압전 에너지 하베스터의 특성

        Piezoelectric thick films of a soft $Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ (PZT) based commercial material were produced by a conventional tape casting method. Thereafter, the interdigitated (IDT) Ag-Pd electrode pattern was printed on the $25{\mu}m$ thick piezoelectric film at room temperature. Co-firing of the 10-layer laminated piezoelectric thick films was conducted at $1,100^{\circ}C$ and $1,150^{\circ}C$ for 1 h, respectively. Piezoelectric cantilever energy harvesters were successfully fabricated using the IDT electrode pattern embedded piezoelectric laminates for 3-3 operation mode. Their energy harvesting characteristics were investigated with an excitation of 120 Hz and 1 g under various resistive loads (ranging from $10k{\Omega}$ to $200k{\Omega}$). A parabolic increase of voltage and a linear decrease of current were shown with an increase of resistive load for all the energy harvesters. In particular, a high output power of 3.64 mW at $100k{\Omega}$ was obtained from the energy harvester (sintered at $1,150^{\circ}C$).

        Hard PZT IDE 유니몰프 캔틸레버의 압전 에너지 하베스팅 특성

        A unimorph piezoelectric cantilever generator with an interdigitated electrode (IDE) was developed for vibration energy harvester applications driven in the longitudinal mode. Hard lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramic with a high $Q_m$ of 1,280 was used as the piezoelectric active material. Ten PZT sheets produced by tape casting were laminated and co-fired with an Ag/Pd IDE at $1,050^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. The approximately $280{\mu}m$-thick co-fired PZT laminate with the IDE was attached to a stainless steel substrate with an adhesive epoxy for the fabrication of an IDE unimorph cantilever. Its energy harvesting characteristics were evaluated: an output power of $1.1{\mu}W$ at 120 Hz across the resistive load of $700k{\Omega}$ was obtained, corresponding to a normalized power factor of $4.1{\mu}W/(G^2{\cdot}cm^3)$.

        A piezoelectric cantilever energy harvester (PCEH) driven in longitudinal (3-3) vibration mode was fabricated, and its electrical properties were evaluated by varying the resistive load. A commercial PZT piezoelectric ceramic with a high piezoelectric charge constant ($d_{33}$) of 520 pC/N and the interdigitated (IDT) electrode pattern was used to fabricate the PCEH driven in longitudinal vibration. The IDT Ag electrode embedded piezoelectric laminates were co-fired at $850^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. The 3-3 mode PCEH was successfully fabricated by attaching the piezoelectric laminates to a SUS304 elastic substrate. The PCEH exhibited a high output power of 3.8 mW across the resistive load of $100k{\Omega}$ at 100 Hz and 1.5 G. This corresponds to a power density of $10.3mW/cm^3$ and a normalized global power factor of $4.56mW/g^2{\cdot}cm^3$. Given the other PCEH driven in transverse (3-1) vibration mode, the 3-3 mode PCEH could be better for vibration energy harvesting applications.

        도심 수목원에서의 경관감상과 산책이 인체의 생리적 안정에 미치는 영향

        This research was conducted to investigate the impact of viewing scenery and walking in the urban forest onphysiological relaxation of humans. The experiment was conducted in Hanbat Arboretum located in Daejeon, and thecontrol experiment was conducted in front of Daejeon City Hall. The subjects that participated in the experimentcomprised 24 Korean male university students in their 20s (average age, 21.1±2.5 years), participated in the experimentas the subject, and these subjects were classified into three groups divided into three locations such as the pine forest inArboretum, the pond in Arboretum, and the city. The subjects sat down and viewed scenery for 10 min, and they thenwalked for 15 min. Further, physiological changes were measured using indicators such as heart rate variability (HRV),blood pressure, and pulse rate. As a result, when subjects viewed scenery and walked in the urban forest, a statisticallysignificant increase in the high frequency (HF) power of HRV and decrease in systolic pressure was observed comparedwith when subjects viewed scenery and walked in the city. Through this research, it was found that activities like viewingscenery or walking in Arboretum of the city are effective in increasing the physiological relaxation of the city residents.

        도시형 대안학교의 공간구성 및 이용현황 분석

        From the mid-1990s, the discussion on alternative schools began in earnest, and with the increasing interests in them, Korean parents' association of alternative education, KPAAE was launched formally in November, 2008. Among the alternative schools in the nation, thirteen urban alternative schools were studied and analyzed. The result indicated that they are being run by individuals and civic organizations with no approval and the facilities and spatial organization of the schools are poor, which is thought to be mainly due to financial reasons as well as the schools' educational goal that puts emphasis on experiences leading to utilize outside local facilities. With this background, the results from the analysis of the facility status and the spatial organization of urban alternative schools led us to understand the followings: First, it showed that per capita average of area of the urban alternative school is approximately 11.995m, less than 14N, the standard area of institutional schools. Second, depending on the form of facilities, the space of other facilities is shared to make up for insufficient space, and is utilized to a small degree and for multi-purposes. Third, the space reflects the disposition of subject students, and is located in the area with convenient traffic for students' attending the schools conveniently. Fourth, specialized space is run on the basis of educational goals, and the exploring of career and the improving of sociality are pursued through internship programs associated with local facilities. Thus, it is desirable for the minimum per capita area of the urban alternative school to meet 14N, the standard area of the institutional schools in order that the urban alternative school may overcome the spatial limitation and the financial hardship stemming from the practically difficult constructing of new buildings and the small scale operation, and it may make flexible use of the space, and the students may live their lives smoothly. Also, it is thought that for the activating of the urban alternative schools, the plans for utilizing various facilities associated with local facilities should be considered.

        일반논문 : 영조 연간의 궁중회화와 영조의 그림 인식

        이 글의 목표는 영조 연간의 궁중회화 제작 및 발전 양상을 검토하여 성격을 분석함으로써 서화에 대한 취향이나 인식, 가치관을 상대적으로 드러내지 않았던 영조의 그림 인식을 간접적으로나마 살펴보는 데 있다. 주로 조선시대 다른 임금들, 특히 숙종 연간 궁중회화와 비교함으로써 꾸준히 계승되거나 크게 발전된 점, 또한 영조에 의해 의도적으로 “선택”되지 않은 전통은 무엇이 있는지를 살펴보았다. 이에 근거하여 영조 연간의 궁중회화와 영조의 그림 인식에 대한 다음 세가지 특징을 도출하였다. 영조 연간 궁중회화와 영조의 그림 인식에 대한 첫 번째 특징은 선왕들의 뜻과 행적을 잇고자 하는 강한 “계술(繼述)” 의식에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 이는 선왕들의 사업을 계승함으로써 자신의 정치적 기반을 확고히 하고자 한 영조의 의지가 궁중회화의 영역까지 연장ㆍ발현된 것이었으며, 또 한편으로는 영조 자신의 예술 취향의 토대가 숙종대의 왕실문화에 기반을 두고 있었기 때문에 자연스럽게 그때 형성된 시각과 관점이 반영된 결과이기도 하였다. 두 번째는 그림의 공리적 효용성이 중시되었다는 것을 들 수 있다. 평소에 근검절약하며 실용적인 것을 강조하던 영조의 성격이 투영된 것이다. 어진, 행사도, 기록화, 지도 등 정치적이고 실용적인 그림들이 영조 연간 크게 발전하게 된 데에는 영조의 실용주의적 회화관의 영향 또한 간과할 수 없다. 마지막으로, 영조는 역사고사도보다 중국 고대국가의 이상적인 가치 또는 질서를 담고 있는 주제의 감계도에 관심을 가지고 있었다. 이는 충역시비(忠逆是非)와 같은 이분법적 구분을 전제로 하는 역사 고사도를 특히 선호한 숙종의 취향과 비교할 때 매우 대조적인 특징이라 할 수 있다. 이는 아마도 현실 속에서 당쟁의 극단적인 시비 논쟁에서 벗어나 요순시대의 국가상과 같은 이상정치의 큰 그림을 강조하며 국정을 운영하고자 한 영조의 새로운 정치운영 방식과 연관된다고 할 수 있다. 위의 세 가지 특징은 영조가 자신의 정치기반을 공고히 하고 실제 국가 운영에 이용하며, 자신의 정치사상을 후왕과 신료들에게 전달하는 정치적인 수단으로서 그림을 적극 활용하였음을 보여준다. Yongjo, the 21st king of Joseon dynasty, had led Joseon for 52 years, and accomplished many political achievements. During his time, court painting especially portrait of kings, ceremonial and documentary painting, topographic maps has shown development and progress. This paper examines the painting produced or appreciated in court during the period of King Yongjo`s reign, and derives Yongjo`s understanding and preference for art. First, Yongjo had placed a high importance on inheriting and developing cultural traditions from precedent generation, which is an extension of his political recourse to form a solid foundation for the throne. Second, Yongjo seems to prefer paintings that serve practical purposes. Yongjo`s pragmatic point of view accounts for the particular aspects of the tradition of his court, which the portrait, documentary painting, maps were relatively prosper. Third, the view of “The painting comes after the plain groundwork,” the teaching of Confucius indicates the essential basics should be considered more important than the minor activities. On Yongjo`s point of view, “minor activities” are arguments between parties judging other sides, and “essential basics`”means ideal values and system. Yongjo disliked the historical painting with a dichotomy point of view, and prefer the painting depicts the ideal society or individual. It is related with Yongjo`s political attitude which emphasizes the harmony and ideal virtue.
