Anaplastic carcinoma of the thyroid (ACT) is a rare subtype of thyroid neoplasm. This tumor represents approximately 5-10% of all thyroid malignancies and has poor prognosis ACT often arises on a long-standing thyroid nodule and has been documented to be associated with a variety of more well-differentiated thyroid carcinomas. We experienced a case of anaplastic thyroid carcinoma who had had about a year history of thyroid getter. The patient had been injected with sclerosing agents in treatment of preexisting golfer. The ACT in this case had varied cytologic and histologic appearances: pleomorphic, giant cell, spindle and squamoid. Immunohistochemically, strong cytoplasmic positivity for cytokeratin was seen in all kinds of tumor cells. Ultrastructurally, the evidences of epithelial differentiation were seen such as intercellular junctions and tonofibrils.

Recently, consumers' awareness of the importance of the intestinal action of lactic acid bacteria and intestinal microbes is increasing, as well as interest in yogurt. In this study, yogurt was prepared with three mixed strains (lactic acid bacteria combination, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp., and Bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilussei, 1:1:1) by adding oats flour, and the quality characteristics of yogurt were investigated, while stored at a storage temperature of 4℃ for 12 days. According to the storage period, the control as wel as the oat yogurt showed slight decrease in pH, and no significant change in acidity. Sugar content slightly increased. and brightness decreased, in the control and the oat yogurt. Visible cell numbers increased during storage, and decreased on the 12th day. Viscosity in the oat yogurt was 7,580 cP, which was approximately eight times higher than that of the control group, and decreased gradually according to the storage period. Antioxidant activity (DPPH) was approximately two times higher in the oat-added yogurt, and slightly increased with the storage period, decreased on the 12th day of storage, and β-glucan was detected only in oat-added yogurt.

The amino acid content and constitution of domestic flue-cured tobacco before and after the aging were investigated. The major amino acids of domestic flue -cured tobacco were histidine, serine, aspartic acid and proline and leucine, isoleucine and glycine were minority in them. Phenylalanine was the most changeable components through the aging. While the contents of tryptophan, sering and Proline which have herbaceous, harsh and bitter taste and aroma in smoke were reduced, tyrosine which adds smoothing and enhances smoke aroma was increased after the aging. The leaf tobacco aged at 4$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 days had a amino acid composition as good leaf tobacco storaged in natural condition for 2 years.
