이동호,이태희,Lee, Tong-Ho,Lee, Tae-Hee 대한약리학회 1970 대한약리학잡지 Vol.6 No.1
1) Efficacy of Moltase, a digestive enzyme preparation, was evaluated by double-blind test. 2) The clinical symptoms assessed in this study were anorexia, vomiting, nausea, eructation, hunger pain, epigastralgia, fullness in epjgastrium, abdominal fullness, constipation, and diarrhea. Effect of Moltase on gastric acidity was also examined by double-blind test. 3) People subjected to this study were 42 students and 22 patients who had signs of chronic dyspepsia. 4) In general, the clinical symptoms were more effectively improved by Moltase than placebos. The marked differences in efficacy between both medication were observed in epigastralgia, fullness in epigastrium, abdominal fullness, and anorexia. 5) Six out of 9 patients with no free gastric acid became to have free gastric acid after Moltase medication.

Generally packing gives rise to frictional heat. Thermal diffusivity is one of the main factors on calculation of heat transfer. In rubber, when compressive stress is applied, compressive as a factor of changing thermal diffusivity in rubber has not been reported. The factors being influenced on thermal diffusivity are density, specific heat and thermal conductivity. When compressive stress is applied, the variations of density and thermal conductivity are considered. Therefore compressive stress changes thermal diffusivity. In this paper, the relationship between thermal diffusivity and comperssive stress is studied through experiment. It is applied the well-known relation between temperature change and Fourier number in the case of transient conduction in heat transfer with negligible thermal resistivity. Thermal diffusivity α (㎠/sec) is found to vary with compressive stress P (㎏/㎠) according to the following equation; α = 1.434 × 10-3 + 1.387 × 10-6 P

REDD is recognized as a cost-effective and the most appropriate way of managing global GHG emissions. It is negotiated in a global context under the UNFCCC. The main issues of the REDD mechanism are divided into two parts: 1) developing forest carbon verification and measurement system for reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, 2) establishing an appropriate system of incentives for developing countries. REDD can provide stability in carbon offset credits. However, the most important task is to establish a clear legal framework and appropriate governance structures with relevant countries. There is a wide opportunities for Republic of Korea to take a lead in cutting off greenhouse gasses in the Post-Kyoto period.

Beta-chain of human serum haptoglobin was isolated from purified type 1-1 haptoglobin, and the tryptic and chymotryptic peptides were separated by ion-exchange chromatography using automatic amino acid analyzer. N-terminal amino acid was determined by dansylation or by Edman reaction, and C-terminal amino acid was determined by carboxypeptidase method. Partial amino acid sequences of N-terminal and C-terminal were obtained, and compared with the other well-known proteins whose sequences were already determined by others, and a possible genetic mechanism of protein evolution was briefly discussed.

Canine serum haptoglobin was purified by DEAE-cellulose chromatography, ammonium sulfate fractionation, starch block electrophoresis and finally by Dextran gel filtration. The solubility of canine serum haptoglobin was slightly higher than human type 1-1 haptoglobin Immunoelectrophoretic mobility of canine serum haptoglobin was very slightly slower than human type 1-1 haptoglobin both in free and Hb-complexed states. On the other hand it migrated faster than human type 1-1 haptoglobin in starch gel electrophoresis both in free and Hb-complexed states, because of smaller molecular size. Canine serum haptoglobin also formed so-called Hp-Hb intermediate as well as human haptoglobin. Canine serum haptoglobin also composed of two kinds of polypeptide chains. The molecular weight of canine alpha-chain was estimated to be 10, 500 and that of beta-chain to be 30,000. Canine beta-chain migrated faster than human or swine beta-chain, and canine alpha-chain migrated very slower than human and swine alpha-chain in acid-urea-starch-gel electrophoresis. From the above results, it can be said that the subunits composition of canine: serum haptoglobin is same to human type 1-1 and swine serum haptoglobin. Likewise, the composition of Hp-Hb complex and Hp-Hb intermediate of canine haptoglobin would be similar to those of human and swine haptoglobins.

1. Swine serum haptoglobin was purified by DEAE-cellulose chromatography. starch block electrophoresis and finally by gel filtration. 2. The solubilty of swine serum haptoglobin was slightly higher than human type 1-1 haptoglobin, i. e., it precipitated 65 percent saturation of ammonium sulfate. 3. The electrophoretic mobility of swine serum haptogtobin is slower than human type 1-1 haptoglobin and retardation of mobility of swine haptoglobin by forming hemoglobin complex was very slight. For this reason, in starch gel electrophoresis swine Hp-Hb complex migrated faster than human type 1-1 Hp-Hb complex. 4. Swine serum haptoglobin also forms so-called Hp-Hb intermediate as well as human haptoglobin. However, it is difficult to demonstrate by ordinary starch gel electrophoresis, since retardation of mobility of swine haptoglobin by formation of Hp-Hb complex is very slight. 5. Some antigenic determinants of swine serum haptoglobin are masked by hemoglobinbinding. 6. It was found that the molecular weight of swine serum haptoglobin is similar to humar type 1-1 haptoglobin, i. e., around 89, 000, by gel filtration technique. 7. Swine serun haptoglobin is composed of two kinds of polypeptide chains. 1'he smaller alpha-chain was similar to human alpha^(IS)-chain, and the larger beta-chain was similar to human beta-chain The subunit structure of swine haptoglobin is α₂β₂. 8. Swine serum haptoglobin binds with hemoglobin at the beta-chain like human haptoglobin. 9. The swine Hp-Hb complex is composed of equimolar haptoglobin and hemoglobin, while Hp-Hb intermediate is composed of one molecule of haptoglobin and half-molecule (dimer) of hemoglobin.
