Moisture in a building is one of the most important variables influencing building performance, human health, and comfort of indoor environment. However, there are still lacks in the knowledge of understanding the moisture problem well and controlling moisture. Accordingly, in order to provide the fundamental data to control moisture contents in the indoor air, this study was to predict moisture contents transferred through building envelopes and indoor moisture generation rate. Moisture transfer model was made by physical relations in each node, and the indoor moisture generation rate was gained by comparing the model with experimental analyses. From the study, we found out that moisture generation rate was critical and day-periodic, so that we predicted the indoor moisture content by substituting the constant value gained from the average in a day for the moisture generation rate.

The authors carried out a study on the influence of daylighting environment according to surface reflectivity of opposite building for improvement of poor environment conditions in a metropolitan area. The numerical model developed can be used for evaluation of daylight reflecting performance.<br/> In this paper, the sensitivity analysis of environment performance factors of daylight reflecting from the opposite building were examined, analysed and presented as a solution method for improvement of building environments. The results were proved to be an effective control methods for improvement of building environment, especially in a metropolitan area. On the basis of this research, the experimental study should be performed.

Poly(hydroxypropyl methacrylate) membranes and matrix devices having tertiary amine moiety were prepared by sintering method, and their permeation charateristics were investigated. The water content of this membrane was increased with decresing the pH of the medium. The permeability of this membrane was increased with decreasing the sintering pressure. Using sintered matrix device `burst effect` was found at the early stage, and initial insulin release of glucose oxidase immobilized matrix device could be controlled by glucose concentration of the solution.

This paper is focused on evaluation of daylight reflecting performance from the adjacent building for improvement of poor environment conditions in a metropolitan area. The numerical model developed can be used for evaluation of daylight reflecting performance. As a result comparison of our simulation programs and commercial softwares, it was verified that there was no difference between two results. In this study, the sensitivity analysis of environmental performance factors of daylight reflecting from the adjacent building were examined, analysed and presented as a solution method for improvement of building environments. The results were proved to be an effective control methods for improvement of building environment, especially in a metropolitan area.
