        편마비 환자의 재활치료 효과를 위한 파크골프 도입에 대한 고찰

        The purpose of this study suggest that Park Golf for rehabilitation training of the patients with hemiplegia. The increase of the aged caused various problems. Among the problems, chronic illnesses the old people suffer from charge their family with mental, physical, social and economic burden as well as the person. Especially, the more old people are the more risks and attacks of cerebral vascular accident(CVA) exist. Therefore, the increase of the aged means the increase of cerebral vascular accident(CVA) patients. The cerebral vascular accident(CVA) patient get into difficulties to secure their livelihood due to troubles and disoders, so medical care facilities and rehabilitation training are really necessary to help them return to their normal life with mental, physical and social capability. The rehabilitation of patient with hemiplegia is ongoing process. It may possibly accomplish throughout the whole life because it takes a lot of time and effort. In addition, an ultimate aim of the rehabilitation is returning and adaptation to society. In this way, it is hardly to expect a satisfied results of the rehabilitation without motive. Therefore, patient with hemiplegia rehabilitation motive will is the most important. If interesting of park golf the patient with hemiplegia can be absorbed in easily are applied to the rehabilitation training, the patient are will to participate in the training without troubling.

        임산부의 요통에 대한 운동요법의 효과

        The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of exercise program of on improvement of low back pain in pregnant woman. The subject with pregnant woman were 24 members recruited among in pregnant woman of S Hospital in Bucheon between 25 and 35 years old. 24 patients were randomly distributed into two groups(Exercise group = 12, Control group = 12). William's back exercise, Pelvic floor muscle strengthening exercise and hydrotherapy were applied to Exercise group respectively. Control group were applied only hydrotherapy. The exercise program of low back was given four times a week for 12 weeks between september 2002 and March 2003. The results were compared by VAS(Visual Analog Scale) and MPQ(McGill Pain Questionnaire) at before exercise(12 weeks of pregnancy), after 6weeks(18 weeks of pregnancy) and after 12weeks(24 weeks of pregnancy). The results of this study were as follow : After the back exercise program in the Exercise group and control group improved low back pain by VAS and MPQ with no statistical significance. On the other hand, back pain by VAS and MPQ was statistical significantly improved in the Exercise group than control group.

      • 치조제 결손부 증대를 위한 새로운 결합조직 이식술

        치아의 상실로 인한 국소적 치조제 결손(localized alveolar defect)은 고정성 국소의치(fixed partial denture) 제작시에 많은 기능적, 심미적 문제점들을 야기한다. 특히 전치부에서의 치조제 결손 부위는 그 형태와 양상에 따라서 심미적 결과에 많은 영향을 미치게 되는데, 이 결손 부위의 회복 여부가 최종적인 심미적 결과의 성패를 좌우하게 된다. 치조제 결손의 양상은 발치 전 치조골의 상황과 염증 정도에 따라 다양하게 나타날 수 있는데, 그 양상은 크게 보면 수평적, 수직적, 혹은 복합적 결손 등으로 분류할 수 있다. 이러한 결손부의 형태와 양에 따라서 우리가 회복시켜 주어야 할 정도도 다르고, 그 난이도 또한 다르다고 할 수 있다. 여기에 추가적으로 고려되어야 할 요소가 결손부와 자연치가 만나는 proximal gingival height이다. 인접 치아와 접하는 gingival height는 그 부위의 치조골 높이에 많은 영향을 받게 되는데, 만약 이 부위에 결손이 존재한다면 역시 심미적 결과에 부정적인 영향을 줄 것이다. 하지만 결손부위 내에서도 치아와 인접한 부위의 gingival height를 동시에 증대시키기 위해 소개된 technique은 많지 않으며 시술의 예지성도 높지 않은 것이 사실이다. 이 case report에서 필자는 수평적 혹은 수직적 결손 및 복합적 결손에 다양하게 적용 가능하면서도 인접치아와 인접한 부위의 gingival height에도 도움이 될 수 있는 술식을 소개하려고 한다. There have been a great number of developments in clinical techniques and dental materials in dentistry to date. Looking at these developments, while it could be seen that functional elements such as mastication were prioritized rather than aesthetic aspect in the past, aesthetic needs of patients have steadily increased over time and accordingly the aesthetic has become considered a priority in the development of dentistry. Although the first to be considered in discussing the aesthetic in clinical dentistry will be the white aesthetic that is the tooth part of prosthesis, the pink aesthetic that refers to the harmony of such prosthesis with gingiva can be an important consideration not to be ignored aesthetically. However, the harmony with the gingiva often cannot be obtained only by the beautiful prosthesis, and in particular, the pontic and implant areas have poor conditions to achieve the gingival (pink) aesthetic due to the absorption of alveolar ridge compared to natural teeth. Among the most important elements of the gingival aesthetic are the gingival level and the interproximal papilla height. It is very difficult to make the gingival aesthetic in the case of insufficient alveolar ridge, and the recovery of ridge volume and contour is necessary in order to overcome this condition. To this end, the most widely used method is the "connective tissue graft". Many techniques of the connective tissue graft have already been introduced for the ridge augmentation, and each technique has different purposes, and advantages and disadvantages. Rather, due to the excessive amount of techniques, there is confusion about selecting the right technique at a certain time. However, the goal is clear. Ways to increase the success rates must be found, and at the same time, a more favorable way to the gingival aesthetic is to be chosen. Thus, in this study, considerations for the gingival aesthetic that makes harmony and the techniques to achieve it are discussed.

        수중 트레드밀 운동이 노인의 보행 및 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        Background: This study had been carried out with 20 elderly subjects as its object for about one month from November 3, 2008 to December 14, 2008 in order to observe the effect of Underwater Treadmill on the elderly's walking and balance ability. Methods: Subjects were assigned either experimental group (n=10) or the control group (n=10), experimental group received Underwater Treadmill program (30 min per course, 3days a week for 6weeks). Subjects were assessed for muscle power (Nicolas Manual Muscle Test), balance (Functional Reach Test), gait ability (Time Up and Go, 10M walking test) before experiments and after experiments. Results: The results of this study were as follows; 1. After underwater treadmill exercise, the change of isometric contraction indicated a beneficial increase on lower extremity muscle power of experimental group and functional test of balance function; FRT, TUG indicated beneficial difference between groups. 2. beneficial difference between groups in walking speed of hourly index change of walking function. 3. between muscle power and balance, gait ability, we could find out there's high correlation ship between lower extremity muscle power increasing and balance and gait ability of the elderly. Conclusion: Aerobic exercise using underwater treadmill effects on muscle power strengthening of the elderly, and because of this, increase of lower extremity muscle power is very helpful not only to improvement of balance ability, but also to improvement of gait ability, so it will be used as a physical therapy program on clinic and used as an exercise program for protecting the elderly from falling down very well.

        요부 근력강화 운동에 의한 체간 가동범위의 변화

        The purpose of this study was to identify that the effect of the Lumbar extensor strengthening exercise on the trunk range of motion(Lumbar extensor strengthening exercise group = 15, Control group = 15). To find out the improvement of trunk range of motion, each group was examined with Modified Modified Sch ber(MMS) measurement before and after the treatments. The result are as followed. 1. After the training period, the trunk range of motion were increased in both groups. 2. After the training period, both groups revealed no sinigificant difference on the trunk range of motion.

        뇌졸중 환자의 균형 증진을 위한 체감형 전자게임 훈련에 적용되는 되먹임 방식에 따른 효과

        PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to assess the difference in the effect of provision of feedback on knowledge of performance and knowledge of result in the training using somesthetic video game aimed at enhancement of balance of hemiparalysis patients due to stroke. METHODS: 20 stroke patients participated in the study. The participants were randomly divided into 2 groups, namely, the knowledge of performance feedback group (KP group, n=10) and the knowledge of result feedback group (KR group, n=10). Both groups received somesthetic video game training 5 times (30 minutes each) a week for total of 4 weeks. The KP group received feedback on the patterns of movement in execution of somesthetic video game. The KR group received feedback on the scores acquired following execution of somesthetic video game. Verification of the significance of the data was performed through paired t-test and independent t-test. RESULTS: Both groups displayed significant reduction in the movement of center of pressure (COP) and Timed up and Go (TUG), and significant increase in the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) following the training. Although the movementof COP was reduced for the KP group in comparison to the KR group, it was not statistically significant, and there was significant reduction in TUG and significant increase in BBS. CONCLUSION: The above results illustrate that provision of feedback on knowledge of performance is more effective than feedback on knowledge of result in somesthetic video game training for the purpose of enhancement of balance in stroke patients. Therefore, provision of feedback on knowledge of performance is necessary in somesthetic video game training for stroke patients.

        만성편마비 환자에게 반복과제와 피드백 과제의 운동프로그램이 하지운동기능과 낙상효능감에 미치는 효과

        Purpose:The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of performing feedback vs repeative tasks on lower extremity motor function and falls efficacy in chronic hemiplegic patients,. Methods:40 hemiplegic patients took part in this study. The average age of the feedback-task group was 68.45 years and 68.20 in the repeative-task group. All subjects participated in the study for 8 weeks, doing exercises 3 per day per week. All participants were assessed by using the Berg balance scale (BBS), the lower-extremity subscale of the Fugel-Meyer assessment of sensorimotor impairment (FMLE), and the falls efficacy scale (FES). The data were analyzed using a paired t-test. Results:After 8 weeks of exercise training, the results of this study were: the BBS and FMLE of hemiplegic patients showed a feedback-task and repeative-task groups (p<0.05). The FES of hemiplegic patients also showed a significant difference between the quantitative-task and qualitative-task groups (p<0.05). Conclusion:We present findings suggesting that chronic hemiplegic patients could improve their standing balance ability better through a feedback-task exercise program, as opposed to a repeative-task exercise program.

        시뮬레이션 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 능력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : Investigate the effects of Horse-back riding Simulation Machine training on the Balance ability in Patients with Stroke. Method : The patients were divided to control group(n=18) with conventional rehabilitation conventional rehabilitation 60min/day and experimental group(n=17) with hippotherapy simulator 15 min/day after conventional rehabilitation 45min/day, 5 time/week for 4 weeks. Balance ability of both groups was assessed using Timed Up and Go(TUG), Berg balabce scale(BBS) and Center of pressure area(COPA). In the present result, there was a no significant(P>0.05) Results : The results of this study showed that Horse-back riding Simulation Machine training, after training, had meaningful difference of TUG, BBS and COPA. Conclusion : This study showed that Horse-back riding Simulation Machine training increased balance ability that resulted in enhancement of motor performance.

        The authors carried out a study on the influence of daylighting environment according to surface reflectivity of opposite building for improvement of poor environment conditions in a metropolitan area. The numerical model developed can be used for evaluation of daylight reflecting performance.<br/> In this paper, the sensitivity analysis of environment performance factors of daylight reflecting from the opposite building were examined, analysed and presented as a solution method for improvement of building environments. The results were proved to be an effective control methods for improvement of building environment, especially in a metropolitan area. On the basis of this research, the experimental study should be performed.

        ‘뻗기’ 및 ‘쥐기’를 이용한 과제지향적 접근법이 시지각과 시야탐색능력에 미치는 영향

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate how a task-oriented approach that applies ‘reaching’ and ‘grasping’, which can influence the visual perception processing path and domain, affects overall visual perception and vision recognition ability. Method: A total of 30 patients with damaged visual perception ability due to brain injury were randomly divided into an study and a control group. The study group underwent therapy involving a task-oriented approach that used ‘reaching’ and ‘grasping’ tasks. The control group received an existing general visual perceptive rehabilitation therapy. The overall visual perception ability, response speed and accuracy, visual attentiveness, and co ncentration change were assessed in both groups using MVPT-3, Dynavision, and Visual CPT. Data were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA and ANCOVA. Statistical significance was set at p<.05. Results: Both groups showed a significant increase in overall visual perception ability, visual response speed and accuracy, and visual concentration and attentiveness after the therapy. No significant differences were noted between the two groups in overall visual perception ability. However, the results of the visual concentration and attentiveness test of the Visual-CPT showed a significant increase of reaction time in the study group compared to the control group. Conclusion: This study confirmed that a task-oriented approach using ‘reaching’ and ‘grasping’ can be a beneficial treatment for visual perception rehabilitation, with similar effectiveness to that of the visual perception task-based rehabilitation approach in general use.
