        자세 변화와 도구 사용 시 최대 들숨과 날숨 시 호흡근의 근활성도 차이

        Purpose : In this study, we aimed to measure how respiratory muscle activity changes as posture changes. We also aimed to measure the inspiratory sternocleidomastoid (SCM) and upper trapezius (UT) muscle activities as well as expiratory rectus abdominis (RA) and oblique abdominis (OA) muscle activities in healthy male and female university students in their twenties. Methods : Using the percentage of reference voluntary contraction (% RVC) with electromyography, we measured the SCM, UT, RA, and OA muscle activities in 16 healthy male and female university students in their 20s according to position change and breather tool use. Results : We found that the average value of inspiratory and expiratory muscle activities by posture was highest when using the breather tool. When using the tool with 10-mm and 2-mm straws for standard breathing at rest in the sitting position, a statistically significant increase in SCM, UT, and OA activities occurred (p < 0.05). For standard breathing at rest in the supine position, a statistically significant increase in SCM, RA, and OA activities occurred (p < 0.05). Conclusion : In clinical application, it may be better to use a respiratory muscle-strengthening tool to increase the activity of inspiratory and expiratory muscles.

        자연치유와 경피신경전기자극치료, 그리고 냉치료가 지연성근육통이 유발된 위팔두갈래근의 통증과 근력 및 근활성도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 비우세 팔굽관절 굽힘근육에 원심성운동을 실시하여, 지연성근육통을 유발시킨 후, 자연치유과 경 피신경전기자극치료, 그리고 냉치료의 효과를 조사하는데 그 목적이 있다. 자연치유군과 경피신경전기자극치료군, 그 리고 냉치료군의 평가를 위해 팔꿉관절의 운동시에 시상통증척도(VAS), 최대 염력, 실효치 값을 측정하여 평가하였 다. 대상자는 신체적 결함이 없는 30명의 성인을 대상으로 하였고, 대상자들은 지연성근육통 유발 후, 3개의 군인 자 연치유군, 경피신경전기자극치료군, 냉치료군으로 나누었고, 60°/초의 등속성 각속도에서 최대 근력으로 운동시에 최 대 연력과 실효치 값, 그리고 시상통증척도를 측정하여 평가하였다. 1. 시상통증척도는 경피신경전기자극치료군의 치료3일차에서 다른 군과 다른 기간에 비해 가장 낮은 수치를 나타내었 고, 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.05). 2. 최대 염력은 경피신경전기자극치료군의 치료3일차에서 다른 군과 다른 기간에 비해 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었고, 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.05).3. 실효치 값은 경피신경전기자극치료군의 치료3일 차에서 다른 군과 다른 기간에 비해 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었고, 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.05). 이상의 연구 결과 로 보아 경피신경전기자극치료는 지연성근육통에 대하여 자연치유나 냉치료에 비해 더욱 효과적인 치료 방법임을 알 수 있다. 그러므로, 지연성근육통을 가진 환자의 치료 시에 경피신경전기자극치료의 적용은 권장되어야 한다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the spontaneous therapy, TENS(transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) and ice therapy after induction of DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness) through application of eccentrically exercise in ralation to biceps brachii muscle of opposite-dominance. And to explain this, we analyzed VAS(visual analogue scales), peak torque, RMS(roots mean square) when exercising elbow joint. The subjects were 30 adults without any physical defect. Subjects were divided into three groups that spontaneous therapy, TENS therapy and ice therapy after DOMS induction, choosen movement could get the maximal peak torque in angular velocity of 60°/sec, and mearsured peak torque, RMS and VAS. 1. The VAS was significantly decreased after 3 days application of TENS than other groups(p<.05). 2. The peak torque was significantly increased after 3 days application of TENS than other groups(p<.05). 3. The RMS was significantly increased after 3 days application of TENS than other groups(p<.05). This study showed that TENS therapy application were effective treatment strategy on DOMS than spontaneous therapy and ice therapy. Therefore, it could be considered as a treatment method in the patients with DOMS.

        온.냉적용시 신체부위별 및 시간에 따른 체온변화에 대한 연구

        This paper was the study of a change in the body temperature of each region(Oral cavity, Axillary, Cubital, Popliteal, Inguinal region)and by time after appling hot(Hot Pack, Infra Red) and cold (Ice Pack, Cooling Pack) to lumbar region. The statistical measures were sampled through 16 senior students in dept. of Physiothrapy, Kim Cheun College and the period for this was from July 13, 1995 to July 20, 1995. There was an increse in the temperature of distal portion besides application area after hot application. The increse in the body temperature according to applied agents and time showed significance statistically(p<0.01, p<0.05). There was just a decrease in the temperature of distal portions besides application area after appling Ice Pack. Furthermore there was an increase in the body temperature after appling Cooling Towel. Therefore, during cold application the appling agents and time did not showed any significance statistically.

        정상인의 팔굽, 무릎관절의 형태와 내.외반의 각도 및 무릅관절 간의 길이에 대한 조사

        This study was researched the general characteristics, the elbow-knee joint form, the varus and valgus angle and the both knee joint distance of the 215 persons form July 1, 1994 to July 15, 1994. The results were as follows : 1. The form of elbow joint was significant statistically in the sex group(p<0.05). 2. The angle of elbow joint was very significant statistically in the age group and sex. B.M.I. group(p<0.001, p<0.01, p<0.01), and the average angle was $9^{\circ}.51{\pm}4^{\circ}.79$(n=215). 3. The angle of Cubitus valgus was very significant statistically in the age group(p<0.001), and the average angle of Cubitus valgus was $10^{\circ}.85{\pm}3^{\circ}.76$(n=187). 4. The angle of Knee joint was significant statistically in the age group(p<0.05), and the its average angle was $7^{\circ}.63{\pm}4^{\circ}.52$(n=215). 5. The angle of Genu varus was significant statistically in the age and sex group(p<0.05, p<0.05), and the its average was $6^{\circ}.92{\pm}2^{\circ}.36$(n=27). 6. The angle of Genu valgus was very significant statistically in the age group(p<0.001), and the its average angle was $9^{\circ}.75{\pm}2^{\circ}.94$(n=149). 7. The distance of both Knee joint was significant statistically in the age group and B. M. I. group (p<0.001, p<0.05), and the its average distance was $2.55{\pm}1.45cm$(n=135).

      • 무진동굴착공법의 일위대가방식과 작업조방식의 생산성 비교 연구

        최근 들어 제주도내 도심지에서 주로 시공이 이루어지는 하수관거 정비공사 및 일부 도로공사 현장의 암 터파기 시공에서 무진동 굴착공법이 사용되고 있으나, 단위 물량에 대한 공사비를 산정함에 있어서 적정한 단가가 제시되지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 제주 지역 인근 현장에서 암터파기 작업에 활용되고 있는 무진동 굴착공법에 대한 현장 모니터링을 바탕으로 일위대가방식과 작업조 방식의 생산성을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 35개 현장의 작업 데이터를 수집하였고, 30개 데이터를 통해 희귀식을 도출하였으며, 나머지 5개의 자료를 통해 검증을 실시하였으며, 이를 통해 작업조 방식의 1일 작업물량은 16.43㎥ 임을 도출하였다. 또한 작업조 방식의 공사비의 산정을 위해 현장여건을 고려한 장비의 조합과 작업인원에 차이를 둔 노무량의 조합을 도출하였다. 회귀분석을 통해 도출된 작업조의 1일 작업물량(16.43㎥)에 근거한 공사비를 산출하였고, 이를 일위대가 방식의 공사비와 비교, 분석하였다. Recently, the non-vibration mass excavation method is used on sewage pipes and road construction sites in Jeju. However, a construction cost estimation based on the unit quantity does not provide a proper unit price. In this study, a comparison of the productivity of the standard quantity-per-unit costing method and the one of the work crew combination method was made based on the site monitoring of the non-vibration mass excavation method that is used in construction sites near Jeju. For this, data of 35 sites were collected: a regression equation was derived from the 30 data, and verification was carried out through the remaining 5 data. The analysis concluded that a day’s workload is 16.43㎥. In addition, a combination of the equipment considering the site conditions and the amount of labor, which varies with the number of work crew was obtained in order to estimate the construction cost of the work crew combination method. The construction cost was calculated based on the one-day workload (16.43m3) derived from the regression analysis. The cost then was analyzed and compared with the standard quantity-per-unit costing method.

        트레드밀 운동 시 신발밑창에 따라 일부 하지근육의 활성도에 의한 근피로도 비교

        Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effect of shoes sole form on fatigue of lower extremity during treadmill gait. Method: Thirty healthy young adults (15 males and 15 females) were recruited. They performed treadmill gait in two different conditions: double sole(DS) and flat sole(FS). Result: lower extremity fatigue were signficantly decreased in double sole condition(p<.05). Conclusion: These findings suggest that double sole contributes to reduction of lower extremity muscle fatigue.

        등속성 각속도의 변화가 하지의 근력과 근활성도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of angular velocity on muscle strength and activity of knee flexor and extensor. Subjects was classified into three groups, which were 60°/sec angular velocity group(n=10), 180°/sec angular velocity group(n=10) and 240°/sec angular velocity group(n=10). Each group was applied to perform the isokinetic exercises on flexion muscle group for each 7 times in 3 set(2 days per a week for 4 weeks). Muscle strength was measured using peak torque of quadriceps femoris and muscle activity was measured using RMS(roots mean square) of rectus femoris, biceps femoris, and semitendinosus. The results were as follows: 1. The peak torque was significantly increased after 4 weeks application of 60°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise(p<.05), however, it was not significantly after 180°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise application, and 240°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise application(p>.05). 2. The muscle activity was significantly increased after 60°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise application on biceps femoris and semitendinosus(p<.05), however, it was not significantly after 180°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise application, and 240°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise application(p>.05). This study showed that 60°/sec angular velocity isokinetic exercise application were effective treatment strategy on increase of muscle strength. Therefore, it could be considered as a treatment method in the athlete and patients with musculoskeletal disease.

        노졸중환자의 삶의 질에 대한 연구 동향

        Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability and the third leading cause of adult death in the world. Stroke has an impact on the physical, psychological and social dimensions of quality of life. An increasing number of authors have reported a deterioration of the quality of life in a large proportion of patients after a stroke. Just as satisfaction with each dimension varies to everyone, the importance of each dimension also varies and does not impact equally on the quality of life. So assessment on the quality of life has to adopt a multidimentional approach and to make use of the subjective and objective indicators.

        턱 당김 운동이 무릎 굽힘폄의 근 수행력에 미치는 영향

        Background: The purpose of the present study is to report the effect of muscle performance on knee flexion and extension by chin in exercise. Methods: This study was Participated in 10 healthy subjects. For conducting the chin-in exercise, subjects are lay down with supine position. Using the rounded towel, subjects was performed contraction of longus colli and longus capatis muscle by push the towel. Chin-in exercise was conducted 3 times a day, 4 times a week for 4 weeks. By using the Biodex system4, We measured absolute muscle strength, relative muscle strength, total exercise quantity and average rate of production in knee flexion and extension. The data was analyzed by the repeated-measure ANOVA for comparing before, after exercise 2 weeks, after exercise 4 weeks changes of factors. Results: After chin-in exercise, there was significant difference of before, after 2 weeks and 4weeks results in absolute muscle strength, relative muscle strength, total exercise quantity, average rate of production, agonist/antagonist ratio(p<.05). Conclusion: As a results of this study, chin-in exercise may help to improve muscle ability of knee joint activation and knee joint action performance.
