Thermally expandable microsphere and aerogel composite was prepared by chemical compositization. Microsphere can produce synergies with aerogel, especially an enhancement of mechanical property. Through condensation between sulfonated microsphere and hydrolyzed silica sol, chemically-connected composite aerogel could be prepared. The presence of hydroxyl group on the sulfonated microsphere was observed, which was the prime functional group of reaction with hydrolyzed silica sol. Silica aerogel-coated microsphere was confirmed through microstructure analysis. The presence of silicon-carbon absorption band and peaks from composite aerogel was observed, which proved the chemical bonding between them. A relatively low thermal conductivity value of 0.063 W/m·K was obtained.
모듈러 시스템을 적용한 일본 현대 건축가의 파빌리온 연구

Pavilion architecture is the object of social communication in the boundaries of architecture and art. Also, the current Pavilion, which is making various attempts to solve many problems in society actively and positively, is the subject of experience to generate maximum effect on the basis of economic small capital. The purpose of this study is to analyze how to take advantage of the modular system, investigate whether cultural functions are evident, and present the spatial design methods necessary for revitalizing local culture. As a result of this, Pavilion, a modern Japanese architect, shows the selection of module systems and structural module materials in the economy of transitory cultural content of public nature. The architectural features of Japanese architects applying modules mainly have economic efficiency and are capable of temporary events. These characteristics can form an event space through the content of local culture, and the selection of materials in the process can be a placeality, or a component of local content. In addition, through the void space, which is made up of Pavilion, various cultural complexes such as music and exhibitions can be formed. Therefore, it is suggested that the Pavilion of the economical material and module system is the architectural space method required for revitalizing the local culture.
수서정리 업무 현장의 시각에서 본 학술연구의 유용성 - 대학도서관을 중심으로 -

이 연구는 현장 사서의 입장에서 대학도서관 수서정리 업무에 관한 학술연구가 도서관 현장에 어떤 의미와 유용성을 가지는지 살펴보고, 그에 대한 문제점과 해결방안을 모색한 것이다. 문제의 원인을 도서관과 사서의 측면, 학계의 측면으로 나누어 분석하고 이 둘을 링크해야 하는 국가기관의 역할 부족에 대하여 생각해 보았다. 또한 학술연구가 현장에 유용성을 가지기 위해 필요한 것으로 학계와 현장 간 커뮤니케이션의 장, 사서의 현장연구적 자세, 학계의 현장에 대한 직접적 검증 행위의 반복 등을 제안하였다. 현재 사서들은 학술연구로부터 업무에 직접적인 도움을 받기 어려운 면이 많다고 하였으나, 도서관 현장과 학계는 상호간의 교류를 통해 도움을 주고 받으며 공존해 가는 것이 반드시 필요하다 This study reviews the meaning and the usefulness of academic studies on acquisition and cataloging service(technical service), reveals problems and seeks solutions in terms of the librarian working in field, university library. The problems were found from the side of library and librarian, and from that of academic area, along with the lack of linking role of government agency. As solutions to enhance the usefulness of academic studies, this study suggests three points; the opportunities of communication of both sides, research based approach of librarians in the field and continuous field based verification from academic side. Currently librarians get limited help from the academic studies however, it is necessary to interact, correlate each other as subjects for mutual prosperity.
