This study was carried out to get efficient of organic material removal and wastage sludge production minimized effects on the treatment of Brewhouse wastewater using aerobic RBC and curtain biological film contact process. As a results of bio film attachment experiment aggravation of water quality due to excessive bio film showed after every 13 days of operating times. The concentration of BOD at raw wastewater was 3800~5300mg/L and COD was 2300~3100 mg/L. The average BOD of effluent was maintained 18 mg/L and average COD was 26 mg/L. The result of this experiment was wastage sludge did not almost generated.

불포화고리 아닌 화합물(unsaturated acyclic hyrocarbons)과 불포화고리 화합물(unsaturated acyclic hyrocarbons) 153가지에 대한 $\pi$-결합에너지를 Huckel 분자궤도 함수론적으로 계산한 $E_{\pi}$값과 Kier의 molecular connectivity index, $\chi$와 비교하여 계산한 값 사이의 관계가 대단히 잘 일치함을 알 수 있고, Molecular Connectivity Index 중 일차 valence connectivity index, $^1{\chi}^v$가 $E_{\pi}$와 좋은 상관관계가 있다. $\pi$-Binding energy of the 153 kinds of unsaturated acyclic polyenes and unsaturated cyclic polyenes has been calculated by the Kier's Molecular Connectivity Index. An excellent linear correlation is found between HMO $\pi$-binding energy and $\pi$-binding energy calculated by the Kier's Molecular Connectivity Index. In either class of unsaturated acyclic hydrocarbons and unsaturated cyclic hydrocarbon, the regression analysis reveals a highly significant linear correlation between $E_{\pi}$ and $^1{\chi}^v$ (the first order valence connectivity index).

Benzenoid 탄화수소의 발암성은 분자의 위상학적 성질에 크게 의존하며, 특히 benzenoid탄화수소가 발암성을 가질려면 그 구조상에 "bay region"이라고 알려진 부분이 존재하여야 한다는 것이 널리 알려져 있다. 81가지 benzenoid 탄화수소에 대하여 발암성 "bay region"을 molecular connectivity index의 크기는 그들 화합물 중에 단일결합을 가지는 화합물을 제외하고는 아주 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다. The carcinogenicity of benzenoid hydrocarbons apparently depends strongly on the topological nature of the molecule. The existance of certain regions in the structure which are known propensity of benzenoid hydrocarbons to be carcinogenic. We try to identify the correlation between the number of potentially carcinogenic bay region in each of them and the quantity of Molecular Connectivity Index for 81 benzenoid hydrocarbons. Results indicate an excellent linear correlation between the number of bay region and the quantity of molecular connectivity index except the molecular containing single bond in their structure.

This study was carried out to get efficient of nutrient removal effects on the treatment of paper making wastewater using submerged biological film process. The concentration of average BOD at raw wastewater was 324 ㎎/ℓ and COD was 435 ㎎/ℓ. The average BOD of effluent was maintained 24.2 ㎎/ℓ, and average COD was 37 ㎎/ℓ. The concentration of average T-N at raw wastewater was 16.5 ㎎/ℓ, and T-P was 1.2 ㎎/ℓ. The average T-P of effluent was maintained 2.3 ㎎/ℓ, and average T-P was 0.08 ㎎/ℓ. The concentration of average SS at influent wastewater was 263 ㎎/ℓ. The average SS of effluent was maintained 28.2 ㎎/ℓ. The result of this experiment was wastage sludge did generated and the removal efficiency of nutrients were kept equilibrium.
