The multi-channel video streaming system is an essential device for future ground combat vehicles. For the system, the application of digital interfaces is required instead of the direct analog method to support selectable multiple channels. However, due to the characteristics of the digital interfaces that require en/decoding and signal conversion, the system should support the ability to adapt to quality and delay requirements depending on how video data is utilized. To support addressed issue, this study designs and emulates the multi-channel compressed-video streaming system of ground combat vehicle's fire control system based on commercial standards. Using the system, this study analyzes the quality of video according to the rotational speed of the acquisition device and Glass-to-Glass (G2G) delay between video acquisition and display devices according to video compression rates. Through these experiments and analysis, this paper presents the design direction of the system having scalability on the latest technology while providing high-quality video data streaming flexibly.

본 논문에서는 모바일 디바이스에서 영상 서비스와 같이 지연에 민감한 서비스를 이용할 때 적합한 절전 모드(psm) 파라미터를 제안한다. 휴대기기의 특성상 전력에 제한이 있는 모바일 디바이스라는 관점에서는 전력 소모가 중요한 문제인데 지연에 민감한 영상 서비스의 관점에서는 절전 모드에 동반되는 응답지연 또한 매우 중요한 문제이다. 따라서 영상 서비스와 같이 지연에 민감한 서비스를 이용할 때에 단순히 소비 전력을 최소화하는 psm 을 적용해서는 응답지연이 늘어나게 된다. 그렇기 때문에 전력 소모와 응답지연의 trade-off 를 고려한 psm 를 적용하는 것이 필요한데 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 허용 지연에 따른 절전 모드 파라미터를 찾는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Recently, a network-based open architecture has been applied to the fire control system of a ground combat vehicle, in order to reduce whole-life cost and enable efficient operation. Each component of the system to which the open architecture is applied is modularized based on the network, and it operates independently. The network delay and the difference of sampling time between the components that occur as a result may affect the performance of the system, so analysis is required. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of the network-based modular motor synchronization system and proposed a sampling technique to improve position accuracy. The proposed technique was verified through experiments in a simulated system environment implemented with DDS(Data Distribution Service) middleware, and it was confirmed that the position accuracy is improved compared to the existing method.

A study on common modular design based on open standards to reduce the life cycle cost of ground weapon system is underway. Since the ground weapon system includes major mission equipment such as fire control system, it is essential to apply the concept of fault tolerance through automatic reconfiguration and blocking unspecified equipment through connectivity control. However, it is difficult to generalize due to the difference in operating characteristics for each system. In this paper, we propose a plug-and-play framework, which includes plug-and-play architecture and mechanism. The proposed method can be used in common by the application of each component as it is divided into a common service layer. In addition, the proposed connectivity control and autonomous reconfiguration method facilitates reflection of operating characteristics for each system. We constructed a verification environment that can simulate ground weapon systems and components, and verified that the proposed framework works through scenario-based functional tests.
