The purpose of this study was to analyze the conditions of small fishing village & fishing port and to suggest the development direction of them. For this, we tried to field survey and research of development demands for 100 sample places. The results of this study were as follows; First, Small fishing villages & fishing ports have different characteristics and their primary industry was a fisheries. And they have a poor condition for basic facilities and industrial facilities, more smaller fishing port. Second, The living satisfaction of residents was decreased gradually because of a decrease in amount of catching fish, a population aging and etc. Residents and public officers was to demand an expansion of basic facilities, an investment of national expenditure and a simplification of administrative procedure. Third, We could establish the development directions by geographical location and funcion of them. And They must development consider their characteristics.

This study is to find out vitalization plan of rural village festival through field survey and in-depth interview. Festival vitalization plans were suggested for each of four steps. The results are as follows: (1) preparing stage : disambiguation of supporting festival, adjustment of selecting times & improvement of selecting index in supporting festival, support of planning & managing ability, and systematization of festival consulting team. (2) planning stage : supporting differentiated festival program development, and public relations of rural village festival. (3) operating stage : flexible utilization of supporting budget and systematization of festival supporters operation. (4) ending stage : holding a workshop to share successful festival cases.

Choice Attributes of Accommodation Facilities for Rural Tourism

This research is to investigate choice attributes of accommodation facilities for rural tourism. The total of 376 samples was analyzed by factor analysis and descriptive statistics and the importance level of the quality elements for rural tourism accommodation facilities was investigated. Main findings consist of four categories. First, the result of factor analysis on 28 elements of rural tourism accommodation facilities revealed that hygienic and clean factor were the most important. Secondly, elements such as breakfast menu, size and ornament of room, eating table, type of structure, size and outward appearance of the house were assessed relatively less important than other elements. Thirdly, inexperienced persons for rural tourism had higher recognition in safety facilities and indoor bathroom than the experienced. Lastly, there were differences in the importance of a few elements such as reservation, safe facilities, breakfast menu, atmosphere of bathroom, sanitation of bedclothes, furniture, bathroom articles and air conditioner and ventilation facilities by gender.

일본 ‘미찌노에키(道の驛)’의 고찰과 국내 도입을 위한 제언

In Japan, road station plays a important role as a means of community revitalization. Road station is not only a resting place for travelers but also a place of urban and rural interchange. In this aspect, introduction of Japanese road station to underdeveloped region in Korea has a significant meaning. Through this facilities, rural community will be expected to revitalize. However, as an introduction, benchmarking regarding our domestic situation rather than just introduction is needed. Various functions, security of funds, reflection of each regional unique content, and structure, and participation of local residents as the operating entity are the point to be considered in introduction. In Korean road station development, multi-complex facilities(culture, welfare, medical treatment, education etc.) for local residents are necessary to be added.

DACUM기법을 활용한 농어촌지역개발전문가 직무분석 연구

As development of farming and fishing areas comprehensively deals with their environment and activities, considerable interdisciplinary expertism on farming and rural areas is needed. In farming and fishing fields which are poor in human resources, roles of regional development consultants who will lead regional development are very important. Korea Rural Community Corporation has managed a civil qualification system for development consultants for farming and fishing rural since 2010 along with educational programs to nurture specialists in development of farming and fishing villages. The development qualification system is to certify specialists in investigation for regional development, regional planning and consulting, promotion planning and consulting for farming and industrial business. To raise its status as an authorized system, job analysis as a special job should be made. This study aims to define the concept of a farming and fishing rural development consultant and identify their main duties and sub-duties using DACUM. The DACUM methodology is widely used in vocational education fields because curricula in vocational education don``t adequately mirror the needs of the work fields. The job analysis of farming and fishing rural development consultant revealed 4 duties, 15 tasks.

This article deals with visitor's perception and use of interpretive signs in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress which is registered as world heritage by UNESCO World Heritage Center. To obtain data onsite inspection and survey was performed. As a result, visitor's perception and use of interpretive signs was low. But on the relationship between use and satisfaction of interpretive signs, if visitor is active user for interpretive signs and can understand contents of interpretive signs very well, visitor's satisfaction is much higher. This result explains that if interpretive signs are located properly and contents of interpretive signs are written easier to understand, visitor's perception of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and satisfaction will be high.
