        Effect of the Type and Positon of Scoliosis on the Static Balance of Adolescents

        Purpose: This paper provides basic clinical data on the treatment of scoliosis patients by analyzing the effects of the type and position of scoliosis on the static balance using Tetrax on adolescents who have balance disorders as a consequence of structural changes, such as scoliosis. Methods: A total of 110 adolescents were divided into 6 groups according to the radiographs and 60 adolescents were sampled, 10 each for each group. The static balance was measured and analyzed on the existence of sight using Tetrax. Results: The changes followed by existence of sight in static balance group showed a significant difference statistically in Stability index in all groups (p<0.001). The changes in the static balance in each group in terms of the stability index were significant in all groups, where the experiments were performed under the eyes opened and eyes-closed condition (p<0.01)(p<0.001). The post-hoc comparison revealed the stability index to be the highest in the eyes-opened condition in group III, but not in group IV. In the eyes-closed condition, group III showed the highest stability index of all the groups. Conclusion: Adolescents with lumbar scoliosis had a lower static balance in single scoliosis with the eyes-closed condition or had little movement compensation. In addition, unlike the other normal scoliosis, back scoliosis has negative effects on the posture because it causes an increase in the disturbance of posture. Therefore, future studied will be needed to examine the imbalance of posture in people suffering from back pain.

        운동성 테이핑이 정상인의 요부근력 및 유연성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of kinesio taping on lumbar muscle strength and flexibility. The samples for this study were 61 normal subjects(35 experimental group, 26 control group), aged 19 to 29 years. The data were analyzed by paired t-test. pearson and bivariate correlations. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The lumbar muscle strength was significant change in the experimental group(p<0.05). 2. The lumbar muscle strength was no significant change in the control group(p>0.05). 3. The flexibility was significant change in the experimental group and control group(p<0.05). 4. The lumbar muscle strength and flexibility were high associated in between session reliability(p<0.05).

        산업발전과 더불어 화석연료 사용으로 인한 CO2의 증가는 지구의 온난화를 초래하여 이상기후라는 이변으로 나타나고 있으며, 이에 대한 대안으로 식물체를 이용한 바이오 에너지에 대한 관심과 개발 그리고 수요 또한 급증하는 추세다. 세계적인 옥수수 곡창 지대인 미국은 옥수수를 이용한 바이오 에탄올 생산이 정부의 적극적인 지원 아래 급속히 발전하는 산업분야이며, 이와 더불어 옥수수가 에너지로써 수요가 증가하여 세계적으로 옥수수 곡물 가격이 사상최대로 치솟고 있다. 일본에 이어 제 2의 옥수수 수입국가 (연1천만 톤 수입: 쌀 총 생산량의 3배)인 한국의 축산농가 및 가공업체는 위기에 직면하였다. 세계적인 에너지 소비등급 10위의 한국은 첫째, 수입곡물가 상승과 둘째, 국제 환경윤리 정세에 적합한 대체에너지 개발이라는 과제들에 대해 적극적인 대안을 제시하고 추진해야 할 것이다. 이에 경북대학교 옥수수 연구팀은 국내의 대체 에너지 작물로써 옥수수의 타당성을 다음과 같이 논하고자 한다. 1)미국과 유럽 등에서 가장 경제적인 작물로써 이미 상업화 되어 있다 2)국내수입곡물 1위 농작물이다 3)벼농사의 국제경쟁력을 증진하기 위해 쌀 생산과 논 면적을 줄여야 할 필요가 있다. 태국의 학계발표에 의하면 벼 재배는 CO2 배출량이 높기 때문에 지구온난화에 기여한다고 한다 4)논적응 품종이 육종되면 옥수수의 기계화 재배로 곡물로 에탄올을 생산하고 부산물은 사료로 이용가능하다 5)옥수수의 산업화 기술개발은 옥수수를 주식으로 하는 북한의 식량난 해결을 돕고, 동시에 통일 비용을 줄이는데 기여 할 것이다.

        Effects of Joint Mobilization on Foot Pressure, Ankle Moment, and Vertical Ground Reaction Force in Subjects with Ankle Instability

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of joint mobilization on foot pressure, ankle moment, and vertical ground reaction force in subjects with ankle instability. Method: Twenty male subjects (age, 25.38 ± 3.62 yr; height, 170.92 ± 5.41 cm; weight, 60.74 ± 9.63 kg; body mass index (BMI), 19.20 ± 1.67 kg/m2) participated and underwent ankle joint mobilization. Weight¬bearing distribution, ankle dorsi/plantar flexion moment, and vertical ground reaction force were measured using a GPS 400 and a VICON Motion System (Oxford, UK), and subsequently analyzed. SPSS 20.0 for Windows was used for data processing and paired t-tests were used to compare pre- and post-mobilization measurements. The significance level was set at α = .05. Results: The results indicated changes in weight-bearing, ankle dorsi/plantar flexion moment, and vertical ground reaction force. The findings showed changes in weight-bearing distribution on the left (pre 29.51 ± 6.31 kg, post 29.57 ± 5.02 kg) and right foot (pre 32.40 ± 6.30 kg, post 31.18 ± 5.47 kg). There were significant differences in dorsi/plantar flexion moment (p < .01), and there were significant increases in vertical ground reaction forces at initial stance (Fz1) and terminal stance (Fz2, p < .05). Additionally, there was a significant reduction in vertical ground reaction force at midstance (Fz2, p < .001). Conclusion: Joint mobilization appears to alter weight-bearing distribution in subjects with ankle instability, with resultant improvements in stability.         교수학적 상황론의 이해와 측정 지도에의 적용

        The learning of mathematics happens in some situations. It is natural that students should learn mathematics in more appropriate situations. But, so far It has been hardly studied about concrete situation and milieu where math can be successfully taught. In today's math education, the situation of education as a external circumstance become realized more and more importantly with influence of open education. But they don't embody situation as an internal circumstance where the intrinsic concept of mathematics can be obtained. We started this thesis from this tried to answer it on the basis of Brousseau's question, have theory about the didactical situations. One of the purpose of this study is to understand the theory of didactical situations, which focuses on how we can elaborate situations which really make a mathematical notion function. In this study, It is attempted clarify some concepts of the theory of didactical situations. The other is to discuss about what the theory of didactical situations suggests us in math zeducation. The method of math teaching and learning and the teacher's role were discussed in the viewpoint of Brousseau's theory. Finally, We elaborated and presented some didactical situations which make the notion of the area of rectangle.

        우리나라 연령별 보행분석 비교연구

        Purpose: This study was done to establish reference data for temporo-spatial, kinematic and kinetic parameters for normal Koreans as they age. Methods: Normal adults and children without a previous history of musculoskeletal problems were enrolled in this study. The normal subjects were divided by age into three groups: Group Ⅰ: children (11.95±0.29 years); Group Ⅱ: young adults (23.90±3.67 years); Group Ⅲ: older adults (71.40±4.08 years). The temporo-spatial and kinematic data were measured using 6 MX3 cameras while each subject walked through a 10 m walkway at a self-selected speed. The kinetic data were measured using 2 force plates and were calculated by inverse dynamics. Results: Motion patterns are typically associated with a specific phase of the gait cycle. Our results were as follows: 1. There were significant differences between the different age groups in temporo-spatial parameters such as cadence, double support, time of foot off, stride length, step length, and walking speed. 2. There were significant differences between the groups in kinematic parameters such as range of motion (ROM) of the hip, knee and ankle in the sagittal plane, ROM of the pelvis, hip and knee in the coronal plane and ROM of the pelvis, hip and ankle in the transverse plane. 3. There were significant differences between the groups in kinetic parameters such as joint moments of force, joint mechanical power generation or absorption and ground reaction forces. Conclusion: The results of this study can be utilized (a) as a reference for kinematic and kinetic data of gait analysis in normal Koreans, and (b) as an aide in evaluating and treating patients who have problems relating to gait.
