This work studied a method for computation of the main characteristics having an effect on potentiometric titration curve in ion exchanger/solution system. These are parameters of acidity of ion exchangers such as thermodynamic constant(p K^O), apparent equilibrium constant and correction for the apparent equilibrium constant(b). For proving the theory, the carboxylic cation exchangers of a granular and fibrous type carried out an experiment on potentiometric titration curves in a wide range of concentration of the supporting electrolyte. And potentiometric titration curve obtained. An equation relation the main characteristics of ion exchange systems was obtained. As a result, it could be calculated to characteristics such as solution pH, supporting electrolyte concentration(C) and degree of neutralization of ion exchanger (x^-).
내열성 Aminated Poly(arylene ether sulfone)의 합성과 이온교환특성

In this study, the matrix of anion exchange resin made use of poly(arylene ether sulfone) (PAES) which has thermal stability and excellent mechanical properties. Aminated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (APAES) was prepared by amination after PAES had been nitrated and lithiated. The amination was confirmed by the presence of the absorption peak of the -NH2 group at 3456, 3370, and 1620 cm-1. The introduction of amine groups in PAES increased glass transition temperature(Tg), and Tg of APAES prepared by nitration was higher than that of APAES prepared by lithiation. The initial degradation temperature of PAES and APAES was 400℃ and 330℃, respectively. Ion exchange capacities of the PAES aminated by nitration and lithiation were 3.11 and 1.83 meq/g, respectively.
