텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 유네스코 2050과 2022 개정 초등 교육과정 내용 분석 - 기후변화 대응을 위한 환경교육 중심으로 -

본 연구는 유네스코 2050과 2022 개정 초등 교육과정에서 기후변화에 대응을 위한 환경교육과 관련된 내용을 파악하고, 이를 토대로 초등교육에서 환경교육의 방향을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 주요 키워드를 도출하고 키워드 간의 상관관계를 탐색하였다. 유네스코 2050과 2022 개정 초등 교육과정 원문을 수집한 뒤, Textom을 활용하여 키워드 분석과 연관 분석을 실시하고, UciNet을 통해 시각화하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유네스코 2050의 키워드 분석 결과, ‘교육’이 높게 나타났으며 이를 통해 기후변화 대응을 위한 환경교육에서 교육의 역할을 강조하고 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 2022 개정 초등 교육과정 총론에서는 ‘생활’, ‘교육’, ‘학습’이 의미 있는 상위 키워드로 추출되었으며 이는 환경교육이 생활, 교육, 학습을 중심으로 운영되어야 함을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 2022 개정 초등 사회과, 과학과, 실과 교육과정에서는 각 교과 내용이 환경교육과 관련된 상위 키워드로 추출되었으며, 이는 환경교육이 각 교과 내용과 연계하여 담겨 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 유네스코 2050에서 추출된 상위 키워드가 2022 개정 교육과정에서 추출된 상위 키워드에 나타났으며, ‘지속가능’, ‘생태’, ‘기후변화’가 2015 개정 교육과정과 다르게 2022 개정 교육과정의 상위 키워드로 추출되었다. 이는 유네스코 2050에서 말하는 기후변화에 대응하는 환경교육의 방향성이 2022 개정 초등 교육과정에 담겨 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. This study identified contents related to environmental education for responding to climate change in the revised UNESCO 2050 and 2022 elementary school curricula to explore the direction of environmental education for elementary school in relation to this. To this end, text mining techniques were used to identify keywords and explore correlations between keywords. The original texts of the revised UNESCO 2050 and 2022 elementary curriculum were collected, and keyword and correlation analyses were conducted using Textom and visualized using UciNet. The key findings include the following. First, keyword analysis for UNESCO 2050 shows that “education” is highly represented, emphasizing the role that education plays in environmental education in climate change. Second, “life,” “education,” and “learning” were extracted as meaningful top keywords from the 2022 revised elementary curriculum outline, which confirms that environmental education is to be centered on life, education, and learning. Third, in the 2022 revised elementary curricula for social studies, science, and practical arts, the top keywords that were related to environmental education were extracted for each curriculum content, confirming that environmental education is included for each curricular content. Finally, the top keywords extracted from UNESCO 2050 were found in the top keywords that were extracted from the 2022 revised curriculum, and “sustainability,” “ecology,” and “climate change” were extracted as top keywords for the 2022 revised curriculum, which formed a contrast with the 2015 revised curriculum. This indicates that the direction of environmental education in response to climate change as stated for UNESCO 2050 is included in the 2022 revised elementary curriculum.

The Multi-User Dimensions Object-Oriented(MOO) is a synchronous interacting program unlike other asynchronous programs such as e-mail, mailing lists, or Usenet. This study is an attempt to suggest ways of improving students’ writing ability by exploring the Schmooze University, one of MOO sites for ESL or EFL English learners. Schmooze University offers language learners opportunities to communicate with native speakers and other English learners from all over the world. Through this system they are able to exchange on online their ideas about each other’s culture, customs, and about learning a language. This authentic, task-based learning environment creates a more attention-attracting and interesting learning situation for those learners of the English language.
