퇴행성(退行性) 슬관절염(膝關節炎)의 봉독약침(峰毒藥鍼) 치료효과(治療效果)에 대한 임상적(臨床的) 관찰(觀察)

Objective : This study is designed to find out the effects of the Bee Venom-Acupuncture on knee joint with osteoarthritis. Methods : We are investigated that outpatients suffer from knee joint pain deciphered at the division of Acupuncture in Jaseng oriental medicine hospital from the 13, July 1999 to until 11, November 2000. We make an estimated of the score from both before or after its treatment about 70 cases of diagnostic patient with the osteoarthritis of knee joints by biochemical method and X-RAY analysis, we observed in the progress of symptoms. Results : These results found that sex distinction with a disease caused much more female than male at the ratio of 1 to 5.36 in the proportion of males to females, jobs is mainly ranked with a housewife and approximately 82.9% of cases before our hospital have ever treated at the other clinics or hospitals. On the hand, the distribution interval of a case history is mainly followed by disease in below 6 month, interval of the period-treatment is mainly gone within 3 month and frequency of treatment is examined into 11 to 15 times, more than 16 times and below 10 times, respectively. We are estimated with the score of functional barrier from both before or after its treatment aganist osteoarthritis' patients and produced in the usefulness from the totally point of fields except the aid-device after its treatment. In summary, these results demonstrated that Bee Venom, Acupuncture enhanced more than 82.9% to the improvement of treatment and P<0.05 considered to be statistically significant. Conclusion : These results suggest that Bee-venom Acupuncture may be play a role in the significant usefulness and have need of actively application for the clinical trials against osteoarthritis'patients.

동기침법(動氣鍼法)을 이용한 악관절(顎關節) 장애(障碍) 환자(患者)의 임상적(臨床的) 관찰(觀察)

Objective : The purpose of This study is to analyze influence of functional and clinical improvement effect on temporomandibular disorders of Dong-Qi acupuncture treatment that often be used to temporomandibular disorder patients. Methods : We investigated to focus temporomandibular disorders in Jaseng oriental medicine hospital from September 8, 2000 to March 22, 2001. We compared to before and after treatment situation using temporomandibular disease & facial ache dolor pain and malignant function disorders & activation inhibition analysis from one cured Dong-Qi acupuncture treatment of outpatients-40 examples. Results : These results appeared that Sex distinction occurrence ratio was much more female than male of 1: 7. Age distinction occupied the most ratio in 20-30 generation. Jobs was mainly ranked students and companion. In cases treated before visiting our hospital, was mainly ranked our hospital first dignosis. the distribution interval of solider was mainly followed above 3 years. the distribution interval of treatment was mainly gone within 1 month and above 3 month, frequency of treatment was examined below 5 times, into 6 to 10 times, more than 11 times, respectively. Everything showed a very valuable effect except chewing and dentalgia in decrease of ache dolor pain and linkage pain related to mal-function. There are meaningful effect in Every part on Mal-function improvement. Every contents showed a very excellent effect except activation such as motivation ingestion and recreation in influence of activation. Conclusion : The above results showed a very valuable treatment effect of temporomandibular disorders on Dong-Qi acupuncture treatment. Therefore we are considered the necessity of continuous study and observation applying to other disease as well as temporomandibular disorders.

시호(柴胡)가 총담관결찰 및 taurocholate 부하(負荷) 흰쥐 간의 MAO 활성에 미치는 영향

Object : This study was carried out to examine the effect of Bupleuri Radix on experimental cholestasis, and make clear apart of this mechanism. Methods : Two models of common bile duct ligation group and taurocholate load group after common bile duct ligation were induced, and Bupleuri Radix extract was taken orally for 14 days. In the 1, 2, 4, 7 and 14 days after treatment, the mitochondrial and microsomal monoamine oxidase(MAO) A and B activities in liver were measured. Results : The mitochondrial MAO A and B activities increased in both Blupleuri Radix treated group after common bile duct ligation and Blupleuri Radix treated group after taurocholate load and common bile duct ligation. MAO A increased in Blupleuri Radix treated group after taurocholate load and common bile duct ligation, and MAO B increased in Blupleuri Radix treated group after common bile duct ligation. The microsomal MAO A activities increased in both Blupleuri Radix treated group after common bile duct ligation and Blupleuri Radix treated group after taurocholate load and common bile duct ligation. Conclusion : According to the result, it is consider that Blupleuri Radix not only improves cholestatis in liver, but also decreases a genetic synthesis of taurocholic acid.

D.I.T.I.로 관찰한 봉약침요법의 거위발 점액낭염 환자 치험례

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Bee Venom Acua-Acupuncture Therapy to the patient of Pes Anserine Bursitis by using DITI. Patient & Methods : The patient was 60-year-old woman who complained severe knee pain. She was treated by bee venom acuaacupuncture therapy. To estimate the efficacy of tratment, we used DITI, visual analog scale, knee joint check(ROM). Results : In this case, we treated patient of Pes Anserine Bursitis for 28 days. bee venom acua-acupuncture therapy efficiently relieved patient's pain and improved ROM. DITI and Visual analog scale also showed significantly valuable changes.

파열형 추간판 환자의 봉독약침요법에 의한 치험 1례에 관한 고찰 - 방사선적 검사에 의한 변화를 중심으로 -

Objective : This study is to report the radiological change after bee venom therapy about the patient of sequestrated disc. Methods : there was a report that the bee venom therapy was effective treatment on the patient of extruded or sequestrated disc. So we treated the patient who was diagnosed as sequestrated disc and hospitalized, and investigated the change of DITI, simple X-rays and MRI before and after treatment. Results : There was remarkable improvement in condition of the patient who had extruded or sequestrated disc after treated by bee venom therapy. It showed that the region of sequestrated L4-5 dise remarkably decreased in MRI, degree of scoliosis decreased from 17 degree to 15 degree in simple X-ray and the difference of right and left became equal in DITI through the follow-up survey. Conclusions : There was reports that bee venom therapy had antinflammatory and antalgic effect and was effective in treating patient of sequestrated disc and in curing pain, functional disorder, and clinical symptom of HIVD patients by means of grade index of lumbago. We think that the result of this study will be supporting data (that will be able to) proves more objectively the change following the improvement of condition with radiological check.

동작침법(M.S.T.)을 시행한 측두하악관절장애환자 치험 3례

Object : The purpose of this study is to report the improvement of Tempormandibular Disorder patients who were treated by M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). Methods : The clinical study was done on 3 cases of patients with tempormandibular disorder we checked the diameter between the maxilla and mandible with jaws fully opened, and also checked NRS score after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) each day. Results & Conclusion : The diameter of the open mouth increased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment), whereas NRS score decreased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). It is concluded that the M.S.T might be effective to the patient with tempormandibular disorder.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the image changes of four cases of Lumbar intervertebral disc Herniation after Oriental medicine Treatment Methods : We examined 4 patients with Lumbar intervertebral disc Herniation (HIVD of L-spine) who showed changes on MRI images before/after the treatment among HIVD of L-spine patients who visited Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine from Jan. 2006 to Apr. 2007. Results & Conclusions : In this study, the first MRI examination of HIVD of L-spine patients was performed at the first visit and re-examination of MRI was done after the treatment. We assessed clinical symptoms by using Numerical rating scales(NRS). In each case, the size of the disc herniation was considerably reduced in MRI image. NRS was also reduced significantly.
