        좁은산사나무엽의 약효성분(I)

        For the investigation of medicinal resources in Crataegus species, the present study was carried out to evaluate the pharmaco-constituents in the leaves of Crataegus pinnatifida var. psilosa (Rosaceae). Fruits has folk medicine in Korea. From the Et2O fraction of MeOH extract, a new compound, apigenin-8-C-(6"-acetyl)-o-D-glucopyranoside, named psilosin and three known compounds, ursolic acid, phytosterol complex and (-)-epicatechin were isolated and identified on the basis of their physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic evidences (UV, IR, NMR and mass etc.) in comparison with authentics, respectively.

        For the investigation of medicinal resource in Phyllanthus ussuriensis, the studies were conducted to evaluate the pharmaco-constituents in Phyllanthus ussuriensis, which is used as folk medicine in China. From the hot water extract of leaves, three phenolic compounds were isolated and identified as phloroglucinol, gallic acid and rutin by physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic evidences$(IR,{\;}^1H-NMR,{\;}^{13}C-NMR{\;}and{\;}Mass,{\;}etc.)$.

        경옥고의 생리활성(III) -염증, 위궤양, 진통 및 정상체온에 미치는 영향-

        The studies were conducted to investigate the inflammation, gastric ulcer, analgesic and homothrmic of experimental animals by KYUNG OK-KO water extract and drink, which is a traditional preparation in Korea. 1. It was exhibited significantly anti-inflammatory effects to acute inflammation on carragennan edema, and preventive and therapeutic effects to chronic inflammation on Freund's complete adjuvant in rats(100, 200, 400 mg/kg). Especially, preventive effect of KYUNG OK-KO water extracts at doses of 100, 200, 400 mg/kg in rats were showed dose-dependantly. 2. Aspirin-induced gastric ulcer were remarkably repaired by all experimental groups of KYUNG OK-KO water extracts. 3. The number of writing syndromes by acetic acid induced also were decreased which MPI's test was increased by tail flick apparatus in mice remarkably, all doses of water extracts(100, 200, 400 mg/kg) and dose-dependantly. 4. Aminopyrine-induced homothermic effects of KYUNG OK-KO water extract(100, 200, 400mg/kg) and drink (0.7, 1.4, 2.1 ml/kg) were significantly evaluated dose-dependantly in 400 mg/kg, 2.1 ml/kg groups.

        경옥고의 생리활성 (Ⅱ) : 고혈당, 고혈압, 지구력 및 체중감소에 미치는 영향

        The studies were conducted to investigate the anti-diabetic activities on the hyperglycemia induced by streptozotocin in rats, anti-hypertensive activities in SHR, anti-fatigue and decrease of body weight activities in mice by Kyung Ok-Ko water extract and drink, which is a traditional preparation in Korea. 1. The blood glucose levels of streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemic rats were dosedependently decreased by administrations of various doses(300, 600, 1200 ㎎/㎏) of Kyung Ok-Ko water extract. Particularly, administration of 600, 1200Ing/kg were significantly shown to decrease glucose levels comparing with control group. 2. The serum total cholesterol levels of streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemic rats were dose-dependently decreased by administrations of various doses(300, 600, 1200 ㎎/㎏) of Kyung Ok-Ko water extract. Particularly, administration of 600, 1200 ㎎/㎏ were significantly shown to decrease total cholesterol levels comparing with control group. 3. The serum triglyceride levels of streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemic rats were dosedependently decreased by administrations of various doses(300, 600, 1200 ㎎/㎏) of Kyung Ok-Ko water extract. Particularly, administration of 600, 1200 ㎎/㎏ were significantly shown to decrease triglyceride levels comparing with control group. 4. The blood pressure in SHRs were dose-dependently lower descended by administration of Kyung Ok-Ko water extract 300, 600, and 1200 ㎎/㎏, respectively. The swimming time of Kyung Ok-Ko water extract (100, 200, 400 ㎎/㎏) and drink(0.7, 1.4, 2.1 ㎖/㎏) were significantly extended to all experimental group dose-dependantly. 6. The decrease of body weight of Kyung Ok-Ko water extract (100, 200, 400 ㎎/㎏) and drink(0.7, 1.4, 2.1 ㎖/㎏) were significantly evaluated dose-dependantly in all experimental group.

        좀민들레의 약효 성분(I) -좀민들레 지상부의 Phenol 성분-

        For the investigation of medicinal resources from Taraxacum species, the studies were carried out to evaluate the pharmaco-constituents in the aerial part of Taroxacum hallaisanensis, an endemic plant of Korea. From BuOH fraction of the MeOH extract, compound 1 (protocatechuic acid, $C_7H_6O_4,\;3,4-dihydroxy\;benzoic\;acid)$, compound 2 $[C_{22}H_{31}O_6,\;luteolin-7-O-{\alpha}-_L-rhamnopyranosyl(1{\rightarrow}6)-{\beta}-_D-glucopyranoside]$, and compound 3 $[C_{15}H_{20}O_6,\;luteolin-7-O-{\beta}-_D-glucopyranoside]$ were isolated by column chromatographic separation using polyamide and ODS-gel. The structures were elucidated by means of physico-chemical evidences($^1H-NMR,\;{12}^C-NMR$, IR, EI-Mass, FAB-Mass and GC).

        박태기나무엽의 페놀성분

        Studies on the pharmaco-constituents from the leaves of Cercis chinensis which have been used for the treatment of inflammation, contusion, dilated blood, pain of heart and stomach, edema, etc. in Korean folk remedies were carried out. Dried leaves of the plant were extracted with MeOH. The MeOH extract was suspended in distilled water and subsequently fractionated with Et2O and n-BuOH. From the Et2O and n-BuOH fractions, six phenolic compounds were isolated and identified as myricitrin(C21H20Ol2, m.p. 199~200o, myricetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside), kaempferol(C15H10O6, m.p. 276o), quercetin(C15HalOO7, m.p. 313~314o), quercitrin(C21H20O11, m.p. 176~178o, quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside), gallicin(C8H8O5. m.p. 202~203o, methyl gallate), gallic acid(C7H605, m.p. 260~265o) through their physico-chemical data and UV, IR, EI-MS, FAB-MS, 13C-NMR, and 1H-NMR analysis with authentics.

        흰투구꽃 지상부의 플라보노이드

        For the investigation of medicinal resources in Aconitum species, the studies were carried out to search the less toxic. constituents than Aconitum alkaloid in the aerial part of Aconitum jaluense for. album (Ranunculaceae). From the BuOH fraction of MeOH extract, three flavonoid compounds, hyperoside(1), kaempferol 3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside(2), kaempferol-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-(β-D-glucopyranoside (3) were isolated and identified on the basis of their physico-chemical properties, spectroscopic evidences (UV, IR, NMR and Mass etc.) and comparison with authentics, respectively.
