The artificial light sources for growth of plant are usually high-pressure sodium lamp, metal haloids lamp, and fluorescent light; however, these light sources have relatively weaker Red and Blue lights that are necessary for growth of plants. Especially the effect of Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) is pointed out as the weakness. Meanwhile, LED light source can be selected by specific wavelength to greatly improve the effect of PPFD. In this regard, this paper aims to investigate the promotion of plant growth by measuring photosynthetic photon flux density (hereafter referred to as PPFD) according to changes in light quality of the LED light sources. Towards this end, LED light sources for plant growth were produced with 4 kinds of mono-chromatic lights and 6 kinds of combined lights by mixing red, blue, green and white lights. A comparative analysis was conducted to investigate the effects of optical properties and PPFD on plants (green leaf lettuce) using the produced light sources. The results monochromatic light has fastest growth rate, but plant growth conditions have poor. This being so, mixed light is suitable for the green leaf lettuce.
출력 전력 및 효율 개선을 위한 3-스택 구조의 Ku 대역 CMOS 전력 증폭기

본 논문에서는 높은 출력 전력을 확보함과 동시에 효율을 개선시킬 수 있는 전력 증폭기 구조를 제안하였다. 전력 소모를 최소화하기 위하여 구동 증폭단은 공통-소스 구조를 적용하였으며, 높은 출력 전력 확보를 위하여 전력 증폭단은 스택 구조를 적용하였다. 제안하는 구조의 검증을 위하여 아홉 개의 금속층을 제공하는 65-nm RFCMOS 공정을 이용하여 Ku 대역전력 증폭기를 설계하였다. 동작 주파수 14 GHz에서 16 GHz 일 때, P1dB, power-added efficiency 및 전력 이득은 각각 20 dBm 이상, 23 dB 이상 및 25% 이상으로 확인 되었다. We propose a Ku-band three-stack CMOS power amplifier to enhance the output power and efficiency. To minimize the dc power consumption, the driver stage is designed using common-source structure. To obtain high output power and utilize a voltage combining method, the power stage is designed using stack structure. To verify the proposed power amplifier structure, we design a Ku-band power amplifier using 65-nm RFCMOS process which provide nine metal layers. The P1dB, power-added efficiency, and gain are higher than 20 dBm, 23 dB, and 25%, respectively, while the operating frequency is 14 GHz-16 GHz.

Although the ROK has been trying to deter North Korea’s military provocations, ROK’s deterrence strategy hasn’t been effective because of it’s focus on military means. From a different viewpoint, the purpose of this thesis is to suggest directions for the development of deterrence strategy against North Korea’s military provocations as a national security strategy based on the analysis of the changes in the recent strategy. This thesis presents an operational definition of ‘Adaptive deterrence’ and analysis framework, which arrange pre-planned Diplomacy, Intelligence, Military, and Economy’s measures for deterrence according to the type and intensity of each threat through the analysis of the changes in the recent strategy. Also, it presents implications throughout the case study of Israel and Poland, which are similar to ROK security environment Furthermore, based on the analysis framework of adaptive deterrence, it evaluates the ROK’ past deterrence strategy against North Korea’s military provocations. As a result of the study, it proposes several directions for the development of the ROK’s deterrence strategy. First, the ROK must consider distinct characteristics of North Korea such as inheritance of the regime and Kim Jung-un era’s character. Second, the ROK has to intensify it’s Diplomacy, Intelligence, and Economy’s deterrence measures in parallel with military ones. Third, various Diplomacy, Intelligence, Military, and Economy’s deterrence measures have to be integrated with a focus on it’s effect Finally, it emphasizes strategic communications and intelligence operation to receive support from the people in order to increase the likelihood of putting it into practice. A new and comprehensive approach to deterrence against North Korea such as adaptive deterrence is highly significant in developing a deterrence strategy of the ROK.
