증가하는 폐기물을 처리하기 위하여 소각시설의 설치는 증가하고 있으나 소각시설은 인근지역의 환경에 악영향을 미칠 가능성이 큰 환경기초시설이므로 지역단위의 객관적인 입지환경 분석이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 데이터 구축의 어려움으로 인하여 지리데이터를 이용한 종합적인 분석은 시도되지 못하고 있으며, 이에 본 연구는 소각시설의 사회·기술·환경 등의 다양한 데이터를 구축하여 지역단위의 소각시설의 입지특성을 규명하고자 한다. 먼저 핫스팟 분석기법을 이용하여 전국 소각시설의 입지밀도 분석을 수행하였으며, 수도권과 전라남도의 신규입지시설의 설치가능성이 높음을 도출하였다. 이를 토대로 통계적인 기법을 통한 전국단위와 두 지역단위의 입지밀도 증가와 상관관계를 지닌 요인을 규명하기 위하여 공간회귀모형을 수행하였으며 최소자승법에 의한 일반적인 선형회귀모형에 비해 모형적합도가 향상된 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 본 연구에 적용한 분석기법을 이용할 경우 지역단위의 다양한 시설의 입지환경을 종합적으로 분석할 수 있을 것으로 보이며, 나아가 소각시설의 관리에 대한 객관적인 자료로 이용이 가능할 것으로 예상된다. Due to continuous establishment of new facilities, objective analysis of the locational characteristics of incineration plants based on regional conditions is needed. However, most studies in this domain have not actively dealt with this issue. In this context, the goal of this study is to explain trends in incineration plant location using a statistical approach implemented with geographic data. This study first analyzed the locational density of incinerators using Hot-spot analysis. The results show that metropolitan areas and Jeollanam-do have potential to install new incineration plants. Based on this result, this study conducted statistical analysis using spatial regression to control for potential spatial autocorrelation. The results indicate that the goodness-of-fit of the spatial regression model is superior to the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model. The analytical method employed by this study can be applied to the evaluation of the locational conditions of various facilities. Furthermore, regional studies can provide objective information for establishing waste management policies.

The purpose of this study is to assess the characteristics of agro-industrial complexes and to derive a revitalization plan for these complexes in Jeollabuk-do, Korea. The types of agro-industrial complexes are classified according to their region or age, and the characteristics are compared with similar facilities in other regions. As a result, although the agro-industrial complexes in Jeollabuk-do are larger than those in other regions, the company size on average is rapidly shrinking. A survey of the companies found that the supply of worker convenience facilities and the degree of facility investment support for companies are the most urgent issues with regard to revitalizing agro-industrial complexes. However, it was found that the level of facility management and that the demand for support policies differed by region or age. The results of this study provide implications for those tasked with establishing policy directions for the revitalization of agro-industrial complexes at the national and regional level.
