        Background It is known that ankle stability is required to maintain balance. However, metatarsophalangeal joint movement is related to ankle stability, there is no study that increases the first metatarsophalangeal joint extension and ankle dorsiflexion affect together in ankle stability. Objectives The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an elastic band on ankle stability during one leg standing on an unstable surface. Methods A total of 12 healthy adult volunteers were recruited for this study. The total distance of the marker which presents the center of mass displacement was measured using the camera - Kinovea®. The difference between with and without an elastic band was analyzed using the paired t-test with p < 0.05 as the significant level. Results The total distance of the center of mass was significantly decreased (p < 0.001) when one leg standing on an unstable surface with an elastic band versus without an elastic band. Conclusions The present findings demonstrate that using an elastic band on the first metatarsophalangeal joint and the ankle improves ankle stability during one leg standing on an unstable surface in healthy adults.

        애니메이션 영상매체를 활용한 여성건강간호 사례기반학습의 효과

        목적 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 애니메이션 영상매체를 활용하여 여성건강간호 사례기반학습을 적용하고 그 효과를 검증하고자 실시되었다. 방법 본 연구는 일 대학 간호학과에서 2021학년도 여성건강간호학 이론수업을 수강하는 2학년 학생을 대상으로 비동등성 대조군 전후 실험 설계를 적용하였다. 실험군에게는 여성건강간호 사례를 애니메이션 영상으로 제작하여 사례기반학습을 실시하였으며, 대조군은 기존의 강의식 수업을 진행하고 사후조사 종료 후 애니메이션 영상학습을 제공하였다. 연구의 효과는 중재 전·후로 비판적 사고 성향, 학습동기, 학업적 자기효능감, 학습태도와 학습만족도를 온라인 설문조사를 통해 측정하고 분석하였다. 결과 본 연구 결과 중재를 적용받은 실험군은 전체 변수에서 사전 대비 사후조사에서 유의하게 점수가 증가하였으며, 대조군과 비교하였을 때 학습동기(Z=-2.09, p=.037), 학업적 자기효능감(Z=-2.05, p=.040) 및 학습 태도(Z=-2.37, p=.018)에서 유의한 차이가 확인되었다. 단, 비판적 사고 성향(Z=-1.81, p=.070)과 학습만족도(t=-0.38, p=.544)의 경우 두 군간의 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 결론 본 연구의 결과 애니메이션 영상매체는 여성건강간호학 이론 교과목에서 사례기반학습을 제공하는데 효과적인 교수학습방법으로 활용될 수 있었다. 추후 다양한 간호학 전공 교과목에서의 적용을 통해 간호대학생의 학습동기와 학습태도 및 학업적 자기효능감 등의 학습역량을 강화하고, 향후 이론 및 실무능력 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Objectives This study aimed to identify the effect of case-based learning using animation media in women’s health nursing. Methods The participants were nursing students who took a theoretical class in women’s health nursing in the first semester in 2021. For the experimental and control groups, case-based learning by animation media and a lecture were conducted, respectively. Regarding the effects, critical thinking disposition, learning motivation, academic self-efficacy, learning attitude, and learning satisfaction were obtained through an online survey. Results Statistically significant differences were observed between learning motivation (Z=-2.09, p=.037), academic self-efficacy (Z=-2.05, p=.040), and learning attitude (Z=-2.37, p=.018) in the experimental group compared to the control group. Regarding critical thinking disposition (Z=-1.81, p=.070) and learning satisfaction (t=-0.38, p=.544), the experimental group an increase compared to the control group; however, the differences were not significant. Conclusions Animation video media could be used as an effective teaching and learning method to provide case-based learning in the theoretical subjects in women's health nursing. Therefore, the application of various nursing major subjects is expected to improve learning abilities, such as learning motivation and attitude, and academic self-efficacy, of nursing students and contribute to improving their theoretical and practical capabilities.

        결혼이주여성의 생식건강행위 영향요인 : 계획된 행위이론의 적용

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing the reproductive health behavior of married immigrant women (MIW). Methods: A cross-sectional based survey was conducted. The data were collected using a self-reporting questionnaire of MIW who lived in cities and provinces. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: A total of 141 subjects participated in the study (mean age, 34.23 ± 6.53). Of the participants, 45.4% were Vietnamese. The reproductive health behavior score of the subjects was 4.09±0.51. The reproductive health behavior showed positive correlations with attitude (r=.37, p<.001), perceived behavioral control (r=.35, p<.001) and intent (r=.33, p<.001). The factors influencing the reproductive health behavior were attitude toward the reproductive health behavior (β=.24, p=.005), perceived behavioral control (β=.18 p=.046), experience of breast feeding (β=.20, p=.014), and the self-evaluated Korean listening ability (β=.18, p=.019). These variables explained 29% of the variance in the reproductive health behavior. Conclusion: According to the above results, a specific educational program for MIW is needed to increase their reproductive health behavior.

        분만실 사례 기반 여성건강간호 시뮬레이션 실습 성찰일지에 대한 내용분석

        본 연구는 일 대학에서 여성건강간호학 임상실습 프로그램 중 시행된 시뮬레이션 실습에 참여한 4학년 간호대학생을 대상으로 분만실 사례 기반 시뮬레이션 실습 경험의 의미를 파악하기 위해 성찰일지 내용분석을 시행한 질적연구이다. 연구 결과, 총 26개의 주제, 11개의 주제모음과 4개의 범주가 도출되었으며, 도출된 범주는 ‘긴장과 부담감’, ‘이론과 실무 사이에서 알게 되는 나의 한계’, ‘관계와 소통을 통한 극복’과 ‘준비와 몰입을 통한 성취’이다. 연구참여자들은 시뮬레이션을 통해 임상환경에서 경험하기 어려운 분만실 사례를 경험하면서 두려움을 느끼고 이론과 실무 경험의 차이를 경험하였다. 하지만 시뮬레이션 상황에 몰입하면서 대인관계와 의사소통 기술의 중요성을 체험하고, 협업을 통한 성취감을 얻었다. 분만실 사례 중심의 시뮬레이션 실습은 임상실습의 한계에서 벗어나 직접 간호 참여의 기회를 제공하고, 문제해결 및 의사결정 등의 간호역량을 강화하기 위해 지속적으로 발전시켜 나갈 필요가 있다. This qualitative study was conducted by a content analysis of the reflective journals of senior nursing students to understand the meaning of the experience after simulation-based practicum based on the cases in the delivery room. The study yielded 26 themes, 11 clusters of themes, and four categories related to nursing students’ experiences. These categories included ‘tension and pressure’, ‘limit of my capabilities between knowledge and practice’, ‘to overcome with relationships and communication’, and ‘achievement through preparation and immersion’. During the simulation exercise, participants encountered numerous challenges when confronted with unfamiliar maternity cases. However, they also experienced a sense of accomplishment as they fully immersed themselves in the simulated situations. Simulation practice in women’s health nursing should be consistently enhanced to bolster nursing competencies. This approach offers nursing students opportunities for direct participation beyond traditional clinical practice.

        편평발이 있는 대상자의 오버헤드 스쿼트 시 깔창이 넙다리네갈래근각과 무릎너비에 미치는 효과

        Background Flat foot is a common musculoskeletal disease that affects lower extremities alignment. The insole was used to manage flat feet. To our knowledge, there is no study on the insole effects ankle and knee joint kinematics during overhead squats in subjects with flat feet. Objectives The purpose of the study is to compare the Q-angle and knee width of adults with flat feet according to the presence or absence of the insole during overhead squats. Methods A total of 15 participants with flat feet participated in this study. Flat feet were assessed according to scores on the navicular drop test. To measure Q-angle using Kinovea®, we attached markers to the tibial tuberosity, the center of anterior superior iliac spine and the center of the patella. The participants maintained a static standing position for 10 seconds, and performed the overhead squat for 7seconds. We measured the Q-angle in standing and squatting positions, and knee width while maintaining the squatting position. The difference in outcome measures in squatting with and without an insole was analyzed using a paired t-test. Results In the standing and overhead squatting postures, the Q-angle significantly decreased when using the insole compared to when it was not used (p < 0.05). In the overhead squatting posture, the knee width significantly increased when using the insole compared to when it was not used (p < 0.05). Conclusions These results showed that using an insole can help adults with flat feet in static standing posture and dynamic squat movements.

        간호대학생이 지각한 자아존중감과 간호사 이미지가 임상실습 만족도에 미치는 영향: COVID-19 시기에 임상실습교육 대상자를 중심으로

        Purpose : This study was conducted to identify the influence of self-esteem and the image of a nurse and its impact on satisfaction with clinical practice among nursing students who experienced clinical practice during the COVID-19 outbreak. Methods : Between September 30 to October 15, 2020, 128 nursing students in their third and fourth grade of K and C colleges completed a self-report structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results : The mean score on the total clinical practice satisfaction was 3.52±0.43. Clinical practice satisfaction was higher in the fourth grade students than in the third grade students(p=.014) and showed a statistically significant positive correlation with self-esteem and the image of a nurse(p<.001). The variables explained the satisfaction with clinical practice by 29.3%. Conclusion : In order to increase the satisfaction with clinical practice of nursing students during the COVID-19 outbreak, it is necessary to develop educational interventions that strengthen positive images of nurses and increase self-esteem.

        노인대상 보건소 방문건강관리사업 간호사의 역할과 직무

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the role and tasks of nurses who were working for the elderly in the visiting health services at the public health centers. Methods: Literature reviews, two rounds of meetings with 5 experts and a two-round Delphi technique with 15 experts were performed in this study. Results: The nurses" role and job analysis revealed 5 roles, 16 duties and, 71 tasks. The nurses’ roles, including discovery and registration of households/groups in visiting health service in the community, case manager, administrative management, program planning, operation and evaluation, and development of job competency. Sixteen duties included client registration and management, need assessment and plan establishment, education, consultation and support, seasonal health care, prevention and monitoring of infectious diseases, basic nursing care, chronic disease management, linkage and utilization of resources, team cooperation and coordination, home environment management, monitoring and support for intervention outcomes, evaluation, administrative management, program planning, operation and evaluation, development of professional competency and, adoption of fourth industrial revolution technology. Conclusions: Based on the results, the government should provide sufficient nursing personnel to provide universal preventive health services for the elderly and a job training program to perform these roles well.
