Most studies are focused on the single component or a equipment itself consisting of multiple components. But these policies are not applicable to multi component. If some components are economically independent of all other components of the equipment, replacements policies which assume a single component can be used for those components. However, if the cost of replacement of several parts simultaneous is less than the sum of the costs of separate replacements. the optimal replacement policy can not be applied by the use of a single component model. In this study, therefore, a mode! for determining economical replacement policies for multicomponent equipment is developed.

The purpose of this study was to estimate optimum space for wood working shop, and suggest the reorganized plan for the woodworking shop of the technical high school. To achieve these purposes, the study was carrid out in three phases. 1. An alternative wood working shop plan was prepared by literature review. 2. For the verification of an alternative plan, twenty-seven experts were selected as jurists, and they evaluated the plan according to the checklist. 3. The final shop plan was recommended after synthesizing the evaluation results. The checklist was made to receive evaluation from teacher in technical high school and survey it. The checklist was composed of 10 items. If jury had the specific opinions, these opinions were discribed in the free decription colum on the checklist. The results of the evaluation were based on the Likert scale (very high 5 point, high 4 point, normal 3 point, low 2 point, very low 1 point), and presented by a mean and standard deviation. The results of this study were as follows: (1) A classroom would be provided form the technical information instruction within the shop and this might be used as a multipurpose room. (2) Most of the existing wood working shops are crowded, therefore the total area size of the legislative standard should be revised to meet the necessities. (3) A teacher`s room should be provided for the student supervision and management of shop, and a locker room for the students private goods.

Object tracking is one of the attractive issues in many applications such as security and surveillance. Although many algorithms have been studies for improving the object tracking technique. We proposed method that the image is divided into several sub-blocks. And the motion information of current image is calculated by block-based motion estimation.

This paper is trying to apply TPM (total productive maintenance) to national competency standards for its useful implementation for the plants and manufacturing sector in Korea. TPM has been widely and effectively being utilized by various sectors such as electrical and electronic industries, car industry, machine and chemical industry, etc. as well. At the same time, some of case studies show that this was refused by machine shops, or by top managers. It has been known that top manager sometimes confuses the definition and framework of TPM and technical personnels of the middle management group lack the maintenance technology required as well as the vision of their future job. As such, this paper proposes NCS of TPM. It usually includes from 6 to 10 pillars among which 9 pillars are selected as competency units in this paper. Each competency unit has its job description and several elements. This paper also suggests that more developed and advanced job description including competency unit, its elements, performance criteria and ranges of variables will be required. Future researches also should provide knowledge, skills and attitude for more efficient practice of TPM.
