        It is very crucial to excavate so-called ‘historical archetypes’ that may be a useful source for creation in cultural content industry. Keeping in mind that our culture has been formed in parallel with historical development, this study focuses on ‘Yeonhaengnok (燕行錄)’ and ‘Yeonhaeng Nojeong (燕行路程)’ that belong to the finest choice of Korean traditional documentary culture, as a part of means to find out best motif of content creation. Here, the Yeonhaeng Nojeong (燕行路程) refers to ‘a path or way (路·道)’ that had been used for diplomatic, politic, cultural, economic and academic exchanges between Korea and China over six centuries (ranging from the era of Goryeo dynasty to even the era of late Joseon dynasty). It is ‘the old path’ in Korean history, which is comparable to ‘the Silk Road’ or ‘Tea Road (茶馬古道)’ in the aspect of historicity inherent in the old paths of civilizational exchange and their spatial implications. Unfortunately, previous studies have been limited to academic exploration into Yeonhaengnok (燕行錄) and Yeonhaeng Nojeong (燕行路程) up to now; they lacked refreshing perspectives on these two paths as a part of ‘cultural heritage with living history and culture’ beyond their simple meaning - traffic road for envoys from Korea to China. Lately, there have been more and more activities to experience history, culture, environment and ecology than before, which is a social phenomenon that has been much influential in various fields since a few years ago. That is why governmental agencies have announced a series of relevant policies in order to support such a trend of exploratory activities. ‘Eui-ju Daero (義州大路)’, an old high road that spans domestic section of Yeonhaeng Nojeong in Korea, has an old path with profound historical implications. In this context, it is expected that the Eui-ju Daero will be very useful as ‘a passage for historical and cultural exploration’ to encompass neighboring natural landscapes and historic relics. The main topic of this study is motivated by exploration of possible ways to convert a video documentary on Yeonhaeng Nojeong (燕行路程) (photographs and video clips) into digital commercial content, and also deals with the publication of ‘e-Book in form of video archive.’ By using video documentary as an original source, this study could suggest actual cases of converting documentary into content like academic presentations, papers, photograph exhibition and publication. Based on such cases, this study sought to explore possible ways to create a little more commercial content from the video documentary on Yeonhaeng Nojeong. Results of this study on ‘Yeonhaeng, Yeonhaengnok and Yeonhaeng Nojeong’ show that it is also very crucial to ‘build video archive' for the systematic management and applications of such documentaries in order to create a variety of contents from those historical sources or improve their availability. e-Book is a sort of archive in nature, but is often very available as a part of content product. The reason why this study seeks to propose publication of ‘e-Book on Yeonhaeng Nojeong in form of video archive’ is that such publication has a meaning as pilot production for building video archive of Yeonhaeng Nojeong video archive, and intends to give a variety of perspectives to researchers dealing with Yeonhaeng or follow-up studies in Yeonhaengnok. Against these backgrounds, this study sought to confer original worth and meanings to video documentary activities on Yeonhaeng Nojeong. In particular, this study also aimed to newly highlight that a historic space called ‘Yeonhaeng Nojeong’ is not a simple ‘old path’, but is ‘a cultural heritage’ incorporating the history and culture of Korea as well as an original source that are very useful in the aspect of cultural industry. It is expected that this study will be the first academic effort to keep records on sites of Yeonhaeng Nojeong in form of video documentary and convert it into digital video archive. Furthermore, it is also expected that ‘the publication of e-Book on the Yeonhaeng Nojeong in form of video archive,’ which is proposed as a case of building video archive by this study, will contribute to bring us new and creative ideas on ‘Yeonhaeng Nojeong(燕行路程).’

      • (The) Development of New Quinolone Antibiotics with Cyclic Oxime in the 7-Amino Group

        최근에 C-7 위치에 치환된 pyrrolidine는 amino 기와 oximino 기가 모두 포함된불소퀴놀론 유도체인 gemifloxacin (Factive, LB20304)이 보고되었는데, 그 효과가 그람-음성균은 ciprofloxacin의 항균력을 보이면서 동시에 methicillin resistant staphylocuccus aureus (MRSA) 내성균을 포함한 그람-양성균에서도 뛰어난 항균력을 보여주었다. 현재 미국식품의약청(The US Food and Drug Administration, FDA)에서 승인 직전에 있는 Factive의 구조적인 특징으로는 oximino 기를 들 수 있다. oximino 기가 도입되는 이유는 상당히 안정적인 작용기로서 자주 의약품에 도입되며, oximino의 질소 원자에 있는 비공유 전자쌍이 의약품의 목표 물질과 수소 결합으로 참여할 수 있다는 점이다. 본 연구에서는 퀴놀론 모핵의 C-7 위치에 도입될 pyrrolidine에 존재하는 유동성이 있는 oximino 기를 고리로 묶고, 여기에 amino 기를 도입하게 되면 Factive와 비슷한 작용기들을 가지면서 구조가 새로운 형태인 불소퀴놀론 유도체(HJK-1)를 합성할 수 있을 것이며, 특이한 생리활성 효과에 대한 기대도 할 수 있을 것으로 예상하였다. 아울러 oximino 기를 cyclic 형태로 도입할 경우, acyclic 구조에서 발생할 수 있는 E 와 Z form의 stereochemistry 문제도 해결될 수 있을 것이며, 이와 같은 변화가 항균력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구 계획으로 합성된 HJK-1은 ciprofloxacin과 Factive보다 그람-음성균에 대해서 상대적으로 떨어지지만 그람-양성균은 ciprofloxacin보다 우수한 항균력을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. Since the development of norfloxacin, many fluoroquinolone antibacterials have been synthesized to improve their antimicrobial activities against various infectious organisms. Much attention has been paid to the introduction of a proper amino group such as piperazine and pyrrolidine derivatives at the C-7 position of the quinolone core for the improvement of potency, spectrum and pharmacokinetics profile. In this effort, recent studies have disclosed that enhanced antibacterial activity against Gram-positive strain could be achieved by the introduction of an alkyoximino group in the pyrrolidine ring as an amino group surrogate including 3-(methyloximino)-4-(aminomethyl)pyrrolidine substituent in Factive(LB20304) which is a promising candidate for new quinolone antibiotics. Interestingly, the alkyloximino group in Factive had an exclusive Z configuration at its methyloxime moisty and this led us to investigate the stereochemical relationship of alkyloximino group with the biological efficacy of Factive by the ring-forming modification of 3-(methyloximino)-4-(aminomethyl)pyrroridine which resembles E-alkyloximino isomer. we have synthesized a pyrrolidine ring which possessed a cyclic oxime funtionality such as 4-((N-amino)methyl)-7-N-3-oxa-2,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.0]oct-1-ene. Synthesis of new quinolone antibiotics with cyclic oxime in the 7-amino group HJK-1, HJK-1a are started 2-aminoethanol. Protections and allylation of ethanolamine were carried out using slightly modified conditions of the literature procedure to give carbamate 4. Osmylation and selective TBDMS protection of carbamate 4 provided alcohol 7 which was subsequently oxidized and methylenated to alkene 10 through PDC oxidation of and Wittig olefination conditions. Desilylation, mesylation and azide substitution of alkene 10 afforded azide 14 in high yield. Consecutive reactions of azide reduction, BOC protection and THP deprotection converted azide 14 to 22. Swern oxidation and following oxime formation transformed alcohol 22 to almost an equal isomeric mixture of syn and anti oximes 25. In situ generation of nitrile oxide and subsequent intramolecular cycloaddition using NCS evetually produced the target bicyclic amine as its BOC-protected form 26 in moderate yield. The synthetic pathway described above were quite efficient and were applicable to the synthesis of various amine 18, 26. And also, deprotection of amine salt 20, 28 transformed in acid conditions. Introduction of this amine into the quinolone core showed that a reasonable antibacterial activity against Gram-positive strain could be achieved.

      • Debussy 전주곡집 제1권의 형식과 소재에 관한 연구

        The dramatic use of chromatic scale by Wagner who endangered she limitation of traditional concept of tonality in the 19th century paved the way for the transformation as a new musical language. Debussy, who played a leading musical form by combining impressionism, his unique musical language, with artistic cult of his time. Debussy mixed consonance and dissonance by expanding its function without damages on tonality. Placing importance on use of color rather than harmonic function, he made tonality indistinct, and opened the way to new harmony. Through his expended and extended technique and modification, he tried his own musical domain without losing characteristics of his personality and tonality. Though his form concept is indistinct and complicated, he used his own expressive method according to the generalized and standardized principle. Though his fundamental technique could be found in traditional artistic method, his new musical language brought a collaps of romantism for the creation of fundamental musical technique of the 20th century. Debussy was a predictor of future music, and his influence would be found in works of the 20th century composers, including Ravel(1875-1937), Stravinsky(1882-1931), Bela Bartok(1881-1945) and Messian(1908-). The great contributions of Debussy to the contemporary music lies in his expansion of past technique into modern art. It is concluded that rejection of the past for present naturally resulted in his innovation of technique and form
