        과학영재의 생명과학 R&E 수행과정에서 나타난 과학적 인지과정 및 과학적 인식론 발달에 대한 연구

        This study was aimed to determine the development of scientific cognitive process and scientific epistemology by science gifted students during the process of life science R&E performance. It was proposed to confirm an essential value of student-led R&E programs and to find out an educational implication to cultivate students’ research capabilities. In the course of main R&E, student products, and participating observation materials were collected for almost one year. Team A consisted of two students and one teacher, while Team B consisted of three students, one teacher, and one professional advisors. During process of R&E performance, science gifted students were able to communicate with team members and perform multiple stages of 「studying research reports」, 「generating research questions」, ‘planning procedures’ and ‘planning measures’ in 「designing studies」, 「making observations」, ‘transforming observation’ and ‘indirect reasoning’ of 「explaining results」 stage, the development of scientific cognitive processes similar to those performed by real scientists was shown. However, Team A students had difficulty in student-led performance in the scientific cognitive process, ‘selecting variables’ and ‘controlling variables’ of 「designing studies」 stage and ‘finding flaws’ of 「explaining results」 stage. It was possible to confirm the development of scientific epistemology by subject students in a direction similar to that of real scientists, especially in the items of 「purpose of research」, 「theory-data coordination」, 「responses to anomalous data」, 「nature of reasoning」 and 「social construction of knowledge」, but it was shown that they did not reach to the level of real scientist’s epistemology as far as 「theory-ladenness of methods」 item was concerned. Since this was mainly observed in Team A, which performed R&E without an expert research guidance, it was possible to propose needs for teachers or experts at the appropriate time during R&E performance. In this study, by tracing the entire process of life science R&E by science gifted students, the essential value and direct research support of a self-directed project-type R&E program was shown that provides students with practical scientific inquiry experiences and helps the development of scientific cognitive process and scientific epistemology. Therefore, it is believed that this study can provide educational implications for more effective operation of self-directed project-type R&E programs to improve R&E research capabilities by science gifted students.

        과학영재의 생명과학 R&E 연구수행을 위한 사전탐구활동 프로그램의 개발 및 적용―식물 분자생물학 실험을 활용하여

        This study was aimed to develop R&E pre-exploratory activity program to help science gifted students perform a self-directed project-type life science R&E. It was also aimed to apply it prior to main R&E and determine its application effects. The developed R&E pre-exploratory activity program would provide students with genuine experiences similar to those performed by real scientists and various empirical and methodological knowledge using plant molecular biology experiments, and the molecular biology concept of gene-protein-phenotype inheritance. A total of 7 weeks of activities were composed in the developed program using a model that reflected the research process by real scientists. Contents of the activity recordings and questionnaire answers were obtained during the application of the R&E pre-exploratory activity program for five 11th grader of the G Science Gifted High Schoollocated in Gyeonggi-do. The application effect was as follows: Students seemed to experience the actual scientific inquiry through the developed R&E pre-exploratory activity program, and gradually became familiar with various empirical and methodological knowledge, such as the principles of molecular biology experiments and general experimental techniques. Students also seemed to acquire the molecular biology concept leading to the gene-protein-phenotype relationship. It was shown that the related inquiry process can be carried out more easily through the application of some inquiry skills and methodological knowledge learned from the developed pre-exploratory activity program. In addition, it is expected that students can make prudent judgments and reflective thinking through the experience of authentic scientific inquiry acquired through the R&E pre-exploratory activity program. In the future, the teaching-learning materials for the R&E activity program similar to this developed R&E pre-exploratory activity program need to be prepared. It will help science gifted students during R&E research process in various aspects and guidance for student research activities need to be considered. 이 연구는 과학영재의 자기주도적 프로젝트형 생명과학 R&E 수행과정을 돕기 위한 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램을 개발하여 R&E 수행 이전에 적용하고, 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 개발한 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램은 학생들에게 실제 과학자가 수행하는 것과 유사한 탐구의 경험 및 식물 분자생물학 실험의 다양한 경험적⋅방법적 지식을 제공하고, 유전자-단백질-표현형으로 이어지는 유전 원리에 대한 분자생물학적 개념을 이해할 수 있도록 과학자의 탐구과정을 반영한 모형을 활용하여 총 7주차의 활동으로 구성하였다. 경기도의 K 과학고에 재학 중인 2학년 학생 5명을 대상으로 개발된 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램의 적용 과정에서 얻은 활동 녹음 내용 및 학생들의 활동지 응답 및 설문 응답 분석을 통해 얻은 개발된 프로그램의 적용 효과는 다음과 같다. 학생들은 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램을 통해 과학자의 수행과 유사한 탐구 경험을 하였으며, 연결되는 주제의 분자생물학 실험 과정을 통해 실험의 원리 및 일반적인 실험기법 등 다양한 경험적⋅방법적 지식을 체득해 점차 익숙해지는 모습을 보여주었다. 또한 유전자-단백질-표현형으로 이어지는 유전 원리의 개념을 습득할 수 있었다. 개발된 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램에서 단백질의 기능을 중심으로 한 생명의 중심원리를 다루고자 하는 전략이 실제 R&E 연구 수행의연구과제 생성에 영향을 줄 수 있을 것이며, 개발된 프로그램에서 익혔던 몇 가지 경험적⋅방법적 지식의 적용을 통해 분자생물학과 관련한 연구주제 탐구 과정에서 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 개발된 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램을 통해 체득한 과학자의 수행과 유사한 탐구 경험을 통해 신중한 판단과 반성적 사고를 수행할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 추후 다양한 측면에서 학생들의 R&E 연구 수행 과정을 도울 수 있는 R&E 사전탐구활동 프로그램과 비슷한 접근 방향의 교육 프로그램 및 학생 연구활동 길라잡이 등 교수-학습 자료의 개발이 지속하여야 할 것으로 생각한다.

        AC-PDP의 방전지연 시간과 오방전 특성의 관계

        As the temperature of the panel increases in AC-PDPs, the minimum driving voltage increases. Also, as the more the number of discharge increases in cells, the probability of the strong dark discharge in the reset period increases. In this study, we investigated the relationship between the lag time of the discharge and the mechanism of mis-discharges which are the black noise and bright noise. We conclude that the variation of time lag characterizes the properties of exo-electron emission from MgO. Thus, we found that the main factor of the mis-discharges is the rate of change of the electron emission ability from the MgO surface.

      • 공진형 인버터의 PWM 제어에 관한 연구

        전력전자의 많은 응용분야에서 고주파 공진형 인버터가 이용되며, 이들 공진형 인버터의 출력 전력을 제어하기 위하여는 PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation), PFM(Pulse Frequency Modulation) 혹은 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 기법들이 이용된다. 그리고 이들 공진형 인버터는 변화하는 부하 상태에서도 신뢰성 있게 동작하기 위하여 출력추파수를 제어하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 공진형 인버터의 PWM 제어의 일환으로써 새로운 스위칭 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법에 의하면, 변화하는 공진 주파수하에서도 최적의 공진 주파수와 출력 기본파 역률 1을 달성할 수 있다. 제안한 PWM 스위칭 방법의 상세한 알고리즘 및 출력특성을 기술하였다. 그리고 실험 결과를 통하여 제안한 방법의 타당성을 확인하였다. In many applications of power electronics, high frequency resonant inverters are used, and the PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation), PFM(Pulse Frequency Modulation) or PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) techniques are used to control the output power of resonant inverters. And the resonant inverters have to control the output frequency for the reliable operation under the variable load conditions. In this paper, a new switching scheme is proposed as a PWM control of resonant inverters. With the proposed method, it can be obtained that optimum resonant frequency and unity output displacement factor under the variable resonant frequency adaptively. The detail algorithm or the proposed PWM switching scheme and its output characteristics are discussed. And the veridity of the proposed method is confirmed with the experimental results.

        혈위도전요법 (EST)이 요부 근력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Objectives :The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of EST(electrical stimulation therapy) on trunk flexors and extensors. Methods :33 normal participants participated in this study. The muscle power of trunk flexors and extensors of each participant was tested before and after applying 15 minutes of EST on low back, using Cybex HUMAC NORM. Results :1. The average power of trunk extensors increased by 19.47±30.69, from 255.11±85.80 to 274.58±95.72(p<0.05) after applying EST on low back(Table Ⅳ), which was statistically significant. 2. The average ratio of trunk flexors and extensors decreased by 5.82±13.95, from 68.61±20.48 to 62.79±16.25(p<0.05) after applying EST on low back(Table Ⅵ), which was statistically significant. 3. The average power of trunk flexors insignificantly decreased by 1.83±30.39, from 168.47±57.27 to 166.64±55.441(p>0.05) after applying EST on low back(Table Ⅴ), which was not statistically significant. Conclusions :These results suggest that EST strengthens the muscle power when applied on trunk extensors.
