Steam generator(SG) tubes are expanded inside tubesheet holes by using explosive or hydraulic methods to be fixed in the tubesheet. In the tube expansion process, it is important to minimize the crevice gap between tubesheet and the transiton region of tube diameter. In this paper, absolute and differential bobbin probe signals are predicted by a numerical method for several different locations of tube expansion inside and outside the tubesheet and signal variations due to tubesheet, tube expansion and operating frequency are high frequency is good for sizing of expanded tube diameter as well as the detection of transition region. Also learned is that the absolute signal is good for the measurement of expanded tube diameter and the differential signal is good for locating the top of tubesheet and both edges of transition region.
조사료와 농후사료의 급여비율이 한우 거세우의 성장 및 도체특성에 미치는 영향

한우 거세우에게 육성기, 비육전기와 비육후기별로 조사료의 급여수준을 달리하여(35∼11%, 44∼12%, 53∼13%) 비육하였을 때 이들 급여수준이 증체량 및 도체특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 농후사료와 조사료의 적정 급여수준을 규명하고저 본 시험을 수행하였다. 한우 거세우의 농후사료 섭취량은 체중 450㎏까지는 체중의 1.8%∼1.9% 수준까지 서서히 증가하다가 450㎏ 이후부터는 감소하였고 조사료 섭취량은 체중 300㎏까지는 체중의 1.04∼1.44% 수준까지 증가하다가 300㎏ 이후부터는 감소하였다. 근내지방도 및 육질등급은 육성기때 조사료 44% 급여구가 다른 급여구에 비하여 높게 나타는 경향이었고 등지방두께는 얇았다. 그러므로 한우 거세우 비육시 조사료 급여수준은 육성기때 44% 수준으로 급여하는 것이 35%나 53% 수준으로 급여하는 것보다 바람직하다고 사료된다. This experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of proportion of concentrates and roughages on growth and carcass traits of Hanwoo steers. Concentrates and roughages were allotted three levels of 35 to 11%, 44 TO 12% and 53 to 13%, respectively from the growing period to finishing period. Concentrate and roughage intake of Hanwoo steers were increased progressively until body weight reached 450㎏ and 300㎏, respectively and reached 1.8 to 1.9% and 1.04 to 1.44% to body weight, respectively but thereafter were decreased gradually. Marbling score and beef grade were tended to be increased when steers were fed 44% roughage compared with the steers fed 35% or 53% at the growing period. Therefore, it can be concluded that feeding 44% of roughage is desirable rather than feeding 35% or 53% of roughage when steers are fattening.
자성체 가스관에서 복수의 결함에 의한 원격장와전류 신호특성 조사

Remote field eddy current testing signals have unique signal characteristics such as the equal sensitivity to ID and OD defects and the linear relationship between defect depth and phase signal strength. In this paper, those and new signal characteristics are studied by carefully prepared experiments with gas pipes. Many kinds of defects are designed and fabricated, such as ID and OD defects, axial and circumferential defects, and multiple defects on the same circumference. Multiple defects on the indirect paths and very long defects reveal the linear relationship between defect depth and phase signal strength. Equal sensitivity to ID and OD defects is also demonstrated. It is found that the phase signal is more sensitive to axial defects and the phase signals from circumferential defects tend to underestimate the total defect length.
직경 1˝ 자성관에서의 원격장와전류 탐상 실험 빛 결함신호 특성

In this study, a remote field eddy current testing system is built to inspect 1˝ diameter ferromagnetic tubes and resulting experimental signals are investigated. To decide the operating frequency, the emf of sensor coil is monitored while the sensor coil is moved away from the exciter. At proper frequency, sudden change would occur in the signal pattern. This also indicates the location of remote field region, so that the distance between coils can be decided. The defect signal contains two defect indications, each appears as the sensor and exciter coil passes a defect. Experimental results show that defect depth can be estimated by comparing the two indications. Also, linear relationship between defect depth and phase signal strength is observed.
