Animation and time-resolved analysis of the wake characteristics of 2-D bluff body flows were examinated by applying the multi-vision PIV to square cylinders(three angles of attack: $0^{circ}, 30^{circ} and 45^{\circ}$) and circular cylinders(three rotating speeds: 0rpm, 76rpm, 153rpm) submerged within a circulating water channel $(Re=10^4)$, The macroscopic shedding patterns and their dominant frequencies were discussed in terms of instantaneous velocity, vorticity and turbulent quantities such as turbulent intensity, turbulent kinetic energy and three Reynolds stresses. Particularly the time-averaged distribution of turbulent intensity 'islands' where their peak magnitudes were focused always small regions behind the bodies without noticeable spatial migration were particularly discovered in all cases. And the dominant frequencies of the turbulent quantities in the wake regions were two times larger than those of the velocity and vorticity.
다양한 영각을 갖는 2차원 장방형 각주의 공력특성에 관한 연구

The present study is aimed to reveal macroscopic aerodynamic characteristics of two-dimensional rectangular prisms with three aspect ratios(D/H=1, 2 and 3) and six angles of attack($0^{circ}, 10^{circ}, 13.5^{circ}, 20^{circ}, 30^{circ} and 45^{\circ}$). The Reynolds number is fixed as $1\times10^4$. The SOLA-based revised finite difference method for the conservation form on irregular grid was adopted as a new numerical method. Instantaneous flow patterns at $45^{\circ}$ in case of D/H=2 and D/H=3 show larger asymmetric wake development which is closely related to the sharp decrease of drag coefficients at higher angles of attack range. Vorticity propagation into enlarged wake region is conjectured to be responsible for this phenomenon. The Strouhal number is found to be sensitive to the angle of attack at higher aspect ratios(D/H=2 and 3).

콘크리트용 후설치앵커는 설치조건에 민감하여 이에 따라 성능이 다르게 발현될 수 있으며, 구조적 특성상 해당 시험을 통해 성능을 검증하여야 한다. 그러므로 안전성 확보를 위해서 후설치앵커의 설계 시에는 실제 현장 설치조건에 맞는 성능 값을 적용하여야 하며, 설치 시에는 설계 시 고려한 조건들을 준수하여 적합한 설치방법에 따라 설치하여야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 설치조건에 따른 후설치앵커의 성능 변화를 분석하였다.

When existing Reinforced Concrete (RC) framed structures are strengthened with Precast Concrete (PC) wall panels, a special connection is required that can accommodate the time-dependent deformation of the RC frame when using PC members made of the same size and resist a large shear force. In this study, we propose a connection that can solve both of these issues through overlapping anchors. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the shear resistance of the overlapped anchor connections between the PC panel and the RC elements in modeling tests. A total of ten full-scale specimens of anchored connection models were constructed and push-out tested. Two anchor groups were installed in three concrete segments and overlapped in the connection of the specimens. The tested average shear strength of the overlapped anchored connections was 109% of the calculated values according to the American anchor design code. The results of this study show that the new anchored connection model can be analyzed using the American anchor design code. Therefore, we can predict the effect of the proposed connection, and it is expected that the design safety and construction practicability of the infill method will be improved using these connections.

A commercial CFD code is applied to analyze the 3-D viscous flow field within vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump including impeller with 6 blades and guide vane with 11 blades and is performed by changing flow rate from 10 to 26㎥/h at the constant 3500rpm. The purpose of this 3-D numerical simulation is not only to confirm how much the effect of three kinds of blade inlet breadth (11㎜, 11.5㎜, 12㎜) of impeller has influence On the performance of vertical multi-stage pump but also to make clear the cause about performance difference at the exit side of impeller and guide vane. The vertical multi-stage pump consisit of the impeller, guide, vane and cylinder. The grid of numerical analysis used to the vertical multi-stage pump is 18,000, 45,000, and 100000 cells in case of the impeller, guide vane, cylinder and total grid is 730,000 cells. The characteristics such as total pressure coefficient, total head, shaft horse power, power efficiency at the exit side of impeller and guide vane, discharge coefficient are represented according to flow rage changing.
