가정폭력 노출경험과 파트너 통제가 데이트폭력에 미치는 영향 : 자기효과와 상대방효과

최근 우리나라의 데이트 폭력 발생률이 증가하고 있으며 심각한 사회문제로 주목받고 있다. 하지만 데이트 폭력은 친밀한 연인 간 발생하여 문제가 잘 드러나지 않기 때문에 이에 대한 연구가 어려운 실정이며 주로 개인을 분석 단위로 한 연구들이 많아 연인의 쌍방 간 영향력을 보지 못했다는 제한점이 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 성인 남녀커플을 대상으로, 가정폭력 노출경험이 데이트 폭력에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 파트너 통제의 매개효과를 자기효과와 상대방효과를 포함하여 탐색하였다. 연구 대상은 3개월 이상 교제중인 20대 남녀커플 총 139쌍으로, 커플 각자에게 가정폭력 노출경험, 데이트 폭력, 파트너 통제에 대한 자기보고 척도를 실시하였다. 이런 결과를 바탕으로 자기-상대방 상호의존 모델(Actor-Partner Interdependence Model)을 사용하여 경로모형을 분석한 결과, 남성의 가정폭력 노출경험은 여성의 데이트 폭력 가해와 피해경험에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 남성의 파트너 통제를 매개로 남성의 데이트 폭력 가해와 피해경험에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 여성의 가정폭력 노출경험은 남녀의 데이트 폭력 가해와 피해경험에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며 여성의 파트너 통제가 남녀의 데이트 폭력 가해와 피해에 직접영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 결과는 가정폭력 노출경험이 남녀의 데이트폭력에 서로 다른 영향을 미치며, 커플의 통제가 상호성이 있다는 것을 보여준다. 본 연구는 가정폭력 노출경험 여부를 알 수 없는 일반 커플을 대상으로 진행하였기 때문에 연구 결과를 가정폭력 노출경험이 있는 임상집단에 적용하기에 한계가 있다. 이러한 제한점에도 불구하고 본 연구는 APIM을 사용하여 성인 남녀 커플을 단위로 데이트 폭력을 연구한 첫 번째 국내 연구로 커플 내에서 데이트 폭력에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 체계적으로 연구하였다는데 의의가 있다. 주요어 : 가정폭력 노출경험, 파트너 통제, 데이트 폭력, APIM Recently, the incidence of dating violence has been increasing and it has attracted attention as a serious social problem. However, since dating violence occurs between intimate couples, it is difficult to examined the problems, and there are limitations in that they have not seen the influence of the couples. Therefore, This study examined mediating effect of partner control, including the Actor-effect and Partner-effect in the process of experience of exposure to family violence influencing on the dating violence. The subjects of this study were 139 couples of men and women in 20s who have been in relationship for 3 months or longer and the self-report scale of experience of exposure to family violence, dating violence, and partner control was implemented for respective couple. As a result of analyzing the path model using the actor-partner interdependence model, the experience of men’s family violence exposure has a direct effect on the perpetration and victimization of dating violence of women and it has a significant influence on the perpetration and victimization of dating violence of men through the partner control of men. On the other hand, the experience of women's exposure to family violence did not have a significant effect on the perpetration and victimization of dating violence in men and partner control has a direct effect on the perpetration and victimization of dating violence of men and women. Such a result shows that the experience of exposure to family violence would have mutually different influence to the dating violence of men and women and the partner control of the couples would have the reciprocity. This study is limited to applying to couples who have experience of family violence exposure because they have conducted general couples who have not been exposed to family violence exposure. Despite of such limitations, this study is the first domestic study of dating violence by adult male and female couples using APIM. also, It is meanigful that the variables affecting dating violence have been systematically studied.
