본 연구에서는 실수기반 적응영역 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 익형의 RCS와 공력 최적설계를 수행하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 RCS 및 공력 최적설계 시 RCS해석으로 Maxwell방정식을 직접 수치적으로 해석하는 시간영역 유한체적법(FVTD) CEM기법을 사용하여 해석을 수행하였으며, 공력해석은 오일러방정식을 사용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 최적화기법으로는 전역적 최적화를 위해 실수기반의 적응영역 유전자알고리즘을 사용하였고, 익형의 형상 최적화를 위해 PARSEC기법을 사용하였다. In this paper, Aero-RCS airfoil design optimization is performed using an adaptive range genetic algorithm. For Aero-RCS design, RCS analysis is a CEM code based on the Maxwell's equations and aerodynamics analysis is a CFD code based on the Euler equations. Global optimization for an adaptive range genetic algorithm and PARSEC airfoil geometry are used.

In this study, we investigated the durability properties of the recycled leather using shaving scrap with antioxidant. Recycled leather sheets were manufactured by mixing shaving scrap and NB latex as a binder. HALS(Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer) and UVA(UV absorbers) were used as antioxidant. Mechanical properties such as hardness, tensile strength, elongation, tear strength and abrasion resistance were measured. Light aging resistance was evaluated using UV lamp and the degree of discoloration of the recycled leather sheets using a gray scale. In addition, to evaluate heat aging and UV aging, the degree of discoloration of the recycled leather sheets over time was measured using colorimeter. Washing fastness was evaluated on the degree of dyeing of recycled leather sheets for six type of multi-fiber woven fabrics (Acetate, Cotton, Nylon-66, Polyester, Acryl, Wool). To determine whether hazardous substances were detected in recycled leather sheets, the contents of arylamine and Cr 6+ were evaluated. As a result, when used in combination with antioxidant, the heat aging and light aging of recycled leather were improved and hazardous substance were not detected.

A combined RCS and drag optimization study is conducted for the purpose of developing a stealth wing design. A CEM code based on the Maxwell equations is used for the RCS analysis while a CFD code based on the Euler equations is used for the drag analysis. From results of the optimization study based on a adaptive range genetic algorithm, it is found that RCS and drag are minimized in an airfoil dented near 20 percent of the chord length aft of the leading edge.
Wolbachia-induced reproductive anomalies and their future applications

The Wolbachia bacterium is currently one of most prevalent endosymbionts of arthropods. The bacterium has drawn much attention because of its ability to induce reproductive anomalies, such as cytoplasmic incompatibility, feminization, male killing, and parthenogenesis, in various invertebrates. This review focuses on the basic biology of Wolbachia , its infection phenotypes, and its potential future applications.

Anti-vibration rubber is used for the purpose of preventing the transmission of vibration shock and buffer. Bromo isobutylene isoprene rubber (BIIR) is suitable for anti-vibration rubber due to its excellent heat resistance, ozone resistance and dustproof properties. ZnO, sulfur and DCP crosslinking agent were used in BIIR rubber and bismaleimide (BMI) was added by content to examine the in properties and degree of crosslinking of BIIR rubber. The properties of BMI were better than those without BMI, and in general, the content of 2~3 phr was the best. Mechanical properties were identified with hardness and universal testing machine (UTM) and thermal properties were identified with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). In addition, the degree of crosslinking for each crosslinking system was confirmed by crosslinking density. BIIR in this paper will be used for inner liner for automobile tire, inner tube, anti-vibration rubber and damping material.
