Due to the rapid deterioration of the domestic atmosphere, people are suffering from inconveniences such as wearing fine dust masks all the time during outdoor activities. In this study, light transmitting concrete, LEFC(Light Emotion Friendly Concrete), using TiO<sub>2</sub> photocatalyst was produced. Since the characteristics of LEFC where acrylic rods are inserted require self-consolidating performance, the purpose was to utilize UHPC(Ultra High Performance Concrete) materials to obtain high-flowability. Further, the compressive strength and flexural strength were evaluated to prevent the reduction of epidemiological performance by utilizing UHPC materials. As such, a basic study was carried out to develop LEFC materials using photocatalyst that can purify the air and stimulate human sensibility.

The effect of fine dust on indoor and outdoor atmospheric environment in Korea is getting larger and it is tried to solve this problem by incorporating photocatalyst. Conventional light transparent concrete (LEFC) arranges plastic rods to ensure light transmittance. However, it is difficult to secure sufficient fluidity due to the heterogeneity and spacing of the materials. In addition to the flow test, J-ring test and L-box test, which are ASTM standards or EN standards, are used to evaluate the fluidity and to find out the optimum mix design of light transparent concrete with self-consolidating performance.

With the technological advancement of the construction industry, construction materials with future direction appeared. In Korea, LEFC(Light Emotion Friendly Concrete) has been developed and studied, which has improved labor productivity and economic efficiency over semi-transparent concrete by introducing transparent plastic rods into concrete matrix. However, there is a problem in that the bending performance is lowered according to the insertion of the rod and the bending performance is different according to the light transmission direction. In this study, the incorporation of PVA fibers in the direction of light transmission was increased and the change of flexural performance according to the interval of light transmission was examined.

Interest in indoor air quality is increasing day by day due to various reasons such as industrial development. Because redmud, an industrial subsidiary, contains titanium dioxide, this study evaluated self-consolidation performance with Slump Flow Test, J-Ring Test, and L-Box Test by mixing redmud in a mixture of ultra-high performance concrete, and sought the optimal combination with high flowability. In addition, the UHPC mixing experiment with photocatalyst was conducted, and the photocatalyst was replaced by the weight ratio of cement and the redmud by the weight ratio of fine aggregate and mixed with the concrete mixture.

국가 총 에너지 소비량 중에서 건물 부문이 차지하는 비중은 20%를 넘는다. 건물부문의 에너지 소비 절감을 위해 세계 각국에서는 각종 의무 기준 제도와 인센티브 정책을 시행하고 있다. 우리 정부에서도 건물에너지효율등급과 녹색건축물 조성지원법 등을 통해 건물 에너지 절감을 위한 정책을 시행하고 있다. 철도 역사는 일반 건축물과는 매우 다른 형태적, 기능적 특성을 가지고 있어, 정부에서 시행하고 있는 각종 기준과 정책을 만족하기 어려울 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 철도역사에 대한 문헌과 사례 연구를 통해 철도역사 에너지 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 조사 분석하였다. Recently, energy saving of building becomes big issue in many countries. Generally, building energy consumption takes more than 20% of total energy consumption of nation. KOREA government also has tried to reduce building energy through enforcing various mendatory regulations and rules. Railway stations have different shape and functional characteristics from general office or residential buildings. So, railway stations will show different energy usage characteristic. The objective of this study is to investigate and find methods of energy saving of railway station through analyzing existing energy saved railway station cases and studies.
