This paper introduces a gate drive IC for power modules with shoot-through immunity. A new approach uses a bootstrap diode as a high-side voltage bias and a level shift function at the same time. Therefore, the gate drive circuit becomes a simple and low-cost without conventional level shift functions such as HVIC(High-Voltage IC), optocoupler and transformer. The proposed gate drive IC is designed and fabricated using the Dongbu-Hitek's 0.35um BD350BA process. It has been tested and verified with IGBT modules.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among referee job stress, burnout and job satisfaction of Taekwondo referee. In order to achieve this, a sample of 200 is drawn out of the in korea Tawkwondo association and seoul⋅gyeonggi-do taekwondo association. Data acquired from 22 people are excluded due to inconsistency in their responses. Therefore, the data of 178 people is used for a final analysis. the acquired data is analyzed through the correlation and multiple regression analyses from the SPSS 23.0 program. The results obtained from this process are as follows. First, Taekwondo judge s judgment job stress was found to affect burnout. Second, Taekwondo judge s judgment job stress partially affects job satisfaction. Third, Burnout partially affects job satisfaction. It is meaningful to provide the basic data for the improvement of the treatment of Taekwondo referee and the improvement of the work environment through the result of this study.

Fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) bars are currently available as a alternative for conventional steel bars in concrete structures exposed to deiceing salts and marine environments. Compared to steel, FRP bars have high tensile strength, low modulus of elasticity and elastic-brittle stress-strain behavior. Due to the low modulus of elasticity of FRP bars, concrete members reinforced longitudinally with FRP bars experience reduced shear strength compared to the shear strength of those reinforced with the steel reinforcement. This paper evaluates the shear strength of one-way concrete slabs reinforced with fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) bars. Nine slabs were constructed and tested. The slabs were 4,000 ㎜ long × 1,200 ㎜ wide × 200 ㎜ deep. The test parameters were the type of FRP reinforcing bars and the reinforcement ratio. The slabs were tested under four-point bending over simply supported clear span of 3,000 ㎜ and a shear span of 1,000 ㎜. The experimental shear strengths were compared with the JSCE recommendations, the CAN/CSA code, and the ACI 440.1R.03 design guide lines. The results indicated that the ACI 440.1R-03 design method for prediction the concrete shear strength of FRP slabs is very conservative.

Vessels are traditionally optimized for a single condition, normally the contract speed at the design draft. The actual operating conditions quite often differ significantly. At other speed and draft combinations, adjusting the trim can often be used to reduce the hull resistance. Changing the trim is easily done by shifting ballast water. There are several ways to assess the effect of the trim on the hull resistance and fuel consumption, including in-service measurements, model tests, and CFD. In this paper, CFD is employed for the assessment of the resistance performance according to the trim conditions. The commercial CFD code of the STAR-CCM+ is utilized to evaluate the ship`s resistance performance on a 6,800 TEU container ship. To validate of the effectiveness of STAR-CCM+, the experimental result of the KCS hull form is compared with the result from STAR-CCM+. It is found that the total resistance of the 6,800 TEU container ship was reduced by 2.6% in the case of a 1-m trim by head at 18knots.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among high school Taekwondo player s perceived coaching behavior, burnout, and intention of dropout. Total participant were 363 (male 271, female 92; Mage=17.86, SD=.83) high school Taekwondo players. Structured survey was used for data collection. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation, and Structured Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the SEM analysis showed that autonomous coaching behavior had a negative effect on burnout while controlling coaching behavior had a positive effect. Furthermore, autonomous coaching behavior had no significant effect on all sub-scales of intention of dropout, but controlling coaching behavior had a positive effect. Finally, player’s burnout influenced positively the intention of dropout. In conclusion, the coaches’ behavior, autonomous or contorlling, could be determinant of influencing exahausion, motivation, and continuity of players. Therefore, coaches should try to use autonomous coaching behavior strategies.

The strength of reinforced concrete members may vary from the calculated or the nominal strength due to the variation in the material strength and dimensions of the element. Statistical description of the variabilities of loads and strengths are required in any studies regarding the safety of reinforced concrete members. Therefore, this paper recommend a number of values for the coefficient of variation of concrete, reinforcement, dimension and loads to be used in the probability analysis. Also, this study analyze reinforced concrete members by Advanced First Second Moment(AFOSM) method using statistical characterization of variables. This study shows that Bayes' theorem is an effective tool in updating prior probabilities when the value of a random parameter is known. Finally, the results in this paper contribute to the understanding of the limit states reliabilities implied in current design of reinforced concrete elements.
