돼지의 복당산자수와 복당체중에 미치는 교배조합과 산차간 상호작용 의 효과

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the interaction between mating type and parity on the litter size at birth, litter size at weaning and litter weight at weaning on the basis of the data from a total of 26,476 litters of Landrace, Yorkshire, Duroc and Hampshire purebreds, 2-breed crosses and 3-breed crosses by these breeds, which were produced at J. Swine Farm located in Kyunggi-do. The data were statistically analysed by least squares method. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows: 1. The effects of mating type, parity, year of birth, month of birth and the interaction between mating system and parity were statistically significant for litter size at birth, litter size at weaning and litter weight at weaning at 30 days of age. 2. The 3-breed crosses were most superior in all of the three traits studied and the purebreds were most inferior. The 2-breed crosses were intermediate between the 3-breed cross and purebreds in these traits. 3. The three traits studied were most superior in the 3-6th parity and were more inferior in the Ist parity. The performances in the 2nd parity were intermediate between those of Ist and 3-6th parities. The three traits tended to decline as the parity advances. 4. The differences between 3-6th and Ist parities and between 3-6th and 2nd pariteis in the three traits studied were larger in the purebreds than in the 3-breed crosses or 2-breed crosses. This tendency of interaction between mating type and parity was observed also in the comparisons between 3-6th and 9th parities and between 3-6th and 7-8th parities.
순종과 교잡종 돼지의 복당 산자수와 21일령 체중에 근거한 종모돈의 평가

The breeding values of the Landrace boars were estimated bused on the records of the purehred Landrace and the crossbred between Landrace and Large Yorkshire by best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP) and least squares methods for litter size and 21-day weight to study the relationship between the breeding values estimated by the performances of purebreds and crossbreds. The data used in this study were the records of 3.170 litter of the Landrace purebreds and the crossbreds between Landraces and Large Yorkshires farrowed at the J. Swim Breeding Fann in Jeonnam Province from January. 1984 to December. 1991. The correlation between the breeding value, of the boars estimated on the basis of the purebred and crossbred performances by the BLUP was 0.253 for the litter size and 0.801 for 21-day weight. The correlation between the breeding values of the boars estimated on the basis, of the purebred and crossbred performances by the lest squares method was 0.712 fir the litter size arid 0.853 for 21-day weight.
개체별 성장곡선 모수를 이용한 재래돼지와 랜드레이스종의 성장 특성에 관한 연구

축산기술연구소의 재래돼지 암수 각각 220두 및 192두와 랜드레이스종 암수 각각 91두 및 62두의 일령별 체중자료에 대하여 Gompertz 모형을 적용하여 개체별로 성장곡선 모수를 추정하였다. 측정시기(t)를 월령으로 변환하여 비선형회귀(NLIN) 방법으로 계산한 개체별 성숙체중(A) 추정치 평균은 재래돼지는 암수 각각 119.42±2.63㎏ 및 131.03±3.81㎏이었으며, 랜드레이스종은 각각 176.17±4.17㎏ 및 201.97±6.82㎏ 이었으며, 성숙률(k) 추정치 평균은 재래돼지는 암수 각각 0.3389±0.0085 및 0.3284±0.0067이었으며, 랜드레이스종은 0.3742±0.0068 및 0.3592±0.0085였다. 최대성장시기를 나타내는 변곡점(t_1)은 재래돼지는 암수 각각 4.63 및 4.86개월령이었으며, 랜드레이스종은 각각 4.31 및 4.56개월령으로 나타났다. 재래돼지는 랜드레이스종에 비하여 성장곡선의 성숙률(k)이 낮고 성숙체중(A)이 작고 변곡점에서의 최대성장률(∂W_t1/∂t)은 낮게 추정되었으며 이들 성장곡선 모수의 두 품종간 차이는 모두 통계적으로 유의성이 있었다. This study was conducted to estimate the growth curve parameters of Korean Native Pig(KNP) and Landrace breed and to compare their growth characteristics based on weight-age data from 220 females and 192 males of KNP and 91 females and 62 males of Landraces raised at N.L.R.I in Korea. Growth curve parameters were estimated from nonlinear regression using Gompertz model individually. Average mature weight(A) estimated for KNP were 119.42±2.63㎏ in females and 131.03±3.81㎏ in males. Average mature weight(A) estimated for Landraces were 176.17±4.17㎏ in females and 201.97±6.82㎏ in males. Average maturing rates(k) estimated for KNP were 0.3389±0.0085 in females and 0.3284±0.0067 in males, and the rates(k) estimated for Landraces were 0.3742±0.0068 in females and 0.3592±0.0085 in males. Average inflection points(t_1) showing maximum growth rate estimated for KNP were 4.63 month s of age in females and 4.86 months in male, and the points(t_1) estimated for Landraces were 4.31 months in females and 4.56 months in males. The results obtained in this study indicate that the KNP had significantly lower rates of maturing(k), smaller mature weights(A) and lower maximum growth rate at inflection point(∂W_t1/∂t) than the landrace breed.
가축 생산단계에 HACCP을 적용하기 위한 Network 시스템 구축에 관한 연구

At the time of high concerning about the safety of product, the purpose of this study was to apply HACCP(Blazard Analysis Critical Control Point) in livestock production stage. The objective in this study is to develop the system which enables to perform the feedback of data integrated from each production stage as well as to outline the flow of livestock production in the situation of Korea. for the data collection, the system is intended to use wireless communication appliances such as RFHI(Radio Frequency Identification), PDA(Per-sonal Digital Assistant), and PCS(Personal Communication System), then this system will be connected to the Livestock Improvement Network System which is already developed and used.
