고급 한국어 학습자를 위한 한국문화 교육 방안 연구-한국문화의 상호관계성을 중심으로-

본 연구는 고급 한국어 학습자를 위한 한국문화 교육 방안을 모색하는 것이 주된 목적이다. 외국어 교육의 목표는 이제 의사소통 능력 신장을 넘어 목표 언어 사회의 문화 이해를 통해 학습자들 개인의 인식을 변화시키며, 개인이 세계를 인식하는 시각과 관점을 확대시키는 데로 나아가고 있다. 한국어 교육에서도 한국 사회의 문화를 이해하는 과정에서 새로운 의미와 상징을 알고, 자국의 문화와 자신의 문화 정체성을 되돌아보며, 문화에 대한 인식과 태도에 있어 변화를 가져오는 문화 교육에의 추구가 있다. 한국문화 교육에서 무엇보다 중요한 것은 한국문화의 특성을 알고 그것을 교육 방안에 적용하는 것이다. 이에 한국문화의 총체적․중층적 특성을 우선적으로 살펴보고, 한국문화에 대한 총체적 이해와 자국 문화와의 상호 문화적 이해를 목표로 하는 문화 교육 방안을 구성해 보았다. 본 연구는 지금까지 한국어 의사소통 능력 향상이라는 측면에서 주로 연구되어 온 한국문화 교육을 한국문화 이해 능력 함양으로까지 그 지평을 넓혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

다문화가족 결혼이주여성을 위한 한국 문화 교육 방안 연구

본 연구는 다문화가정 결혼이주여성을 위한 한국 문화 교육 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이와 더불어 다문화가정 결혼이주여성을 위한 한국 문화 교육 방안을 교재 분석을 통해 제시하고자 하였다. 다문화가정 결혼이주여성을 위한 한국 문화 교육 방안은 결혼이민자들의 특수한 상황과 목적을 고려하여 설계하는 것이 중요하다. 결혼이주여성은 자신의 나라가 아닌 다른 문화권에서 살아야 하는 만큼 한국생활에 적응해서 살아갈 수 있어야 하므로, 단지 의사소통 능력 향상을 위한 문화 교육이 아니라 한국 문화 자체에 대한 이해를 동반한 문화 적응 교육이 필요하다. 상이한 문화에 노출되어 접촉하면서 개개인이 겪는 문화 적응은 동화, 통합, 분리, 주변화의 네 가지 유형이 발생한다. 이러한 문화 적응 유형을 반영하여 결혼이주여성들을 위한(학생들에게 문화 개념을 이해시키는 단계, 학생 자신의 고유한 시각을 인식시키는 단계, 타인의 문화를 발견하게 하는 단계, 자국 문화와 타인의 문화를 비교하는 단계, 상대화하게 하는 단계, 타인의 문화를 수용하게 하는 단계의) 상호문화교육 교수학습 6단계를 제시하였다. 이상과 같이 이 연구는 결혼이민자를 대상으로 하는 한국문화 교육 방안 연구의 필요성을 제기하며, 우선적으로 결혼이민자를 대상으로 발간된 한국어 문화 교재 속 문화 교육 방법을 분석해봄으로써 현재 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 한 한국 문화 교육의 실태를 파악하고, 한국 문화 교육 방안을 구안함으로써 다문화가정 결혼이주여성을 위한 한국 문화 교육의 방향을 모색하였다. This study delves into the education methods of Korean Culture to the immigrant women who are in a multi-cultural marriage. Furthermore, this study attempts to provide education methods through analyzing the textbooks used to teach the immigrant women. It is important to consider the specific situation and goals that the immigrant women are in, when constructing the education program. The immigrant women, who are married into a multi-cultural marriage, are in need of cultural education in order for them to adapt to the new culture that are not their own and therefore need not only to learn the language but to understand the culture as well as adapting to the culture. Four patterns of cultural adaptation happen when individuals are exposed to alien culture: assimilation, integration, separation, and marginalization. The author provides a six-stage teaching method of intercultural education by applying the different culture adaptation patterns for the immigrant women. Likewise, this study raises the need of more studies on the methods of Korean Culture education that are provided for the marriage immigrant women. The study also understands the status current state of Korean Culture education by analyzing the methods of educating culture in the textbooks used, and the study seeks measures to successfully educate the immigrant women.

문화 교육을 위한 한국어 교사 교육 방향 연구-한국어 교사 대상 포커스그룹인터뷰를 중심으로-

이 연구는 한국어 교사들의 한국 문화 교육의 능력을 강화할 수 있도록 교사 교육과정 개선의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 방법은 질적 연구의 하나인 포커스그룹인터뷰(focus group interview, FGI)를 활용하였다. 연구를 통해 밝히고자 한 것은, 첫째, 교사들이 석사 학위 과정에서 수강한 문화 교육 관련 과목의 내용 및 수업 방법, 둘째, 한국어 교사로서 겪은 문화 교육 관련 경험과 그에 따른 요구이다. 인터뷰 결과 교사 교육과정의 문화교육론에 포함되어야 할 내용은 다음과 같이 정리되었다. 첫째, 교사가 문화 교육이 언어 교육에서 지니는 의미를 이해하고 문화 교육의 범위를 인식하게 한다. 둘째, 문화에 대한 이론 교육과 실습 교육이 병행되어야 한다. 셋째, 교사가 문화 교육의 목표를 명확히 인식하고 문화 중심 수업을 구성해 보게 한다. 넷째, 다양한 문화 이론과 문화 교육 모델을 접하게 하고, 교수·학습 상황과 학습자 변인에 맞는 교육 모형을 발견하게 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 현행 한국어 교사 교육과정, 특히 석사 학위 과정 중의 문화 관련 과목의 교육 내용과 방법의 문제점을 진단하고 개선하는 데 활용할 수 있을 것이다. Through suggesting ways in which the education of teachers can be improved, his research aims to strengthen the ability of Korean language teachers to educate their students on topics related to Korean culture. Qualitative research was conducted using focus group interview. This research hopes to shed light on, first, the content of courses related to cultural education that teachers took while earning their master`s degrees, and second, the experiences related to cultural education that the interview participants have had as teachers, as well as what those experiences demand. According to the interview results, the following content needs to be included in the cultural education theories used to educate teachers: First, teachers need to understand the meaning that cultural education has within language education, and they need to be aware of the scope of cultural education. Second, theoretical education and practical education related to culture need to coincide. Third, teachers need to understand the goal of cultural education and they need to attempt to construct a course with a cultural focus. Fourth, teachers need to be exposed to a variety of cultural theories and cultural education models, and they need to be made to discover the kind of educational models that fit teaching-learning situations and learner variables. This research can be used to diagnose the problems with education for Korean teachers, specifically the content problems found in culture related courses taken by teachers as graduate students, and it can be used to improve the education of Korean teachers.

This study investigates students’ use conditions in- and out-of- school coffee shops, and analyzes the importance and the performance for students’ consumption behaviors for those coffee shops. For this study, we apply Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) by carrying out a survey targeting students at the Chungbuk National University. IPA results categorize various factors with respect to levels of the importance and the performance, respectively.
