This study was performed to investigate changes in fatty acid composition of phospholipid and glycolipid during storage of extracts packed in polyethylene film of Korean Native Goat. Two Korean Native Goats with 9.8 ㎏ live weight were slaughtered and extracted to obtain samples of polyethylene bag package. The phospholipid and glycolipid compositions were analyzed on extracts stored at 4℃, -3℃ and -20℃ for 0. 7. 14, 21 and 28 days of polyethylene bag storage. Two compositions were analyzed by the GC. The results obtained wereas follows: 1. The highest among saturated fatty acid of phosphlipid was palmitic acid, the second highest fatty acid was stearic acid and myristic acid. respectively, while the highest among unsaturated fatty acids was oleic acid, the second one was linoleic acid and palmitoleic acid. respectively, while the second one was oleic acid, Palmitoleic acid increased during the entire storage time at the other storage temperature, oleic acid and linoleic acid decreased during the storage time at 4℃ and -3℃. 2. The highest among saturated fatty acids of glycolipid was palmitic acid, the second highest fatty acid was stearic acid, myristic acid, palmitoleic acid, linoleic acid. Palmitic acid decreased at 4℃, but the change was not as the storage time passed, decreased at -3℃ and -20℃. Oleic acid increased remarkable during the storage time passed at 4℃. but -3℃ and -20℃ increased a few.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the physico-chemical characteristics of vacuum and aerobically packed meat from Elk deer weighing 170 ± 10㎏ of 28 to 30 months old, chilled at 4℃ for 10 days. The moisture content, crude protein, crude fat and crude ash in deer loin were 74.46%, 22,11%, 1.27% and 1.13% : the leg parts had 75.47%, 22,68%, 1,58% and 1.27%, respectively. The decrease in moisture content was greater in aerobic packaging than in vacuum packaging. The lysine content of loin and leg parts were 2,380㎎% and 2,270㎎% and the glutamate content of loin and leg parts were 4,145㎎% and 3,987,5㎎%, respectively. On the whole, the loin contained more amino acids than leg part. Of the mineral contents, phosphorus, potassium and sodium were present in large amounts and mineral content was decreased with longer chilling period. The leg parts contained more potassium, sodium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium and calcium than loin parts. In conclusion, vacuum packaging is considered more advantageous in preventing meat color change and microbial deterioration for consumers interest.

Seven-day-old broiler chicks of both sexes were fed the conventional diet containing 0, 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9% Quartz Porphyry (QP) and water ad libitum until 28 days of age. Body weight gain and feed efficiency was showed better performance in QP 0.3% level groups than other froups, but was no significant defferences among treated groups. Amount of feed intake was lower in the 0.3% supplement of QP, but more than 0.6% and 0.9% sppplement resulted in highest than control diet. Liver and Tibia weight was lower but gizzard weight and small intestine length was not changed by feeding of QP. These results suggest that the dietary QP in growing broilers, 0.3% supplement of QP was improves body weight gain and feed efficeemcy and increases carcass rate.

This experiment was carried out to investigate the changes in pH, proximate composition, pH, VBN, TBA, minerals, and fatty acid of venison extracts, from three slaughtered deers with 180-210 ㎏ live weight (♀, Elk deer, 28~30 months of age) at 4℃. Proximate composition was not affected by storage periods. The PH, VBN, and TBA ranged from 4.60~4.62, 13.52~15.75 ㎎%, and 0.20~.0.81㎎/㎏, respectively. The PH. VBN, and TBA gradually increased during storage period (p<0.05). Among minerals, K, P, Na, Mg, and Ca were major mineral contents and the Ca, Mg, Na contents significantly decreased (p<0.05) according to the storage period. The major fatty acid found in venison extracts were oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid. Oleic acid, linolenic acid, and arachidonic acid decreased during storage, but palmitic acid, heptadeanonic acid, and stearic acid increased during the storage. U/S (unsaturated fatty acid/saturated fatty acid) ratio tended to decrease during the storage.

This study was tested for the bending stress analysis of hand splint for Hemiplegic Patients. Hemiplegia was represented the stroke and the cerebral palsy. Hand splints of four materials was an Orthoplast hand splint, a Polypropylene hand splint, a Yogips hand splint and an Aluminum hand splint. The Stress Analysis system was made by the electronic oscilloscope, strain gage sensors, amplifier, A/D converter, PC with C program. It will be able to using the important data in splint design. The results of analysis were obtained various different graphes and maximum data in an Orthoplast hand splint, a Polypropylene hand splint, a Yogips hand splint and an Aluminum hand splint.
