- Effects of prunella vulgaris L., chrysanthemum indicum L.and pueraria Radixon plasma lipid compositionand histological consideration were investigated in hyperlipidemic rats. Concentration of plasma β-lipoprotein showed atendence to decrease in prunella vulgaris L., chrysanthemum indicum L.and pueraria Radixtreatment groups. Howeverthese values were showed not significantly different from control group. Concentration of plasma FFA in prunellavulgaris L., chrysanthemum indicum L. and pueraria Radixtreatment groups showed a lower values compared to controlgroup and concentration of plasma FFA of prunella vulgaris L. and pueraria Radixtreatment group showed a lowervalues than prunella vulgaris L. and chrysanthemum indicum L. treatment group. Concentration of plasma glucose andtriglyceride showed a tendence to decrease in prunella vulgaris L., chrysanthemum indicum L. and pueraria Radixtreatment groups. However plasma glucose values showed not significantly different from control group. Plasma totalcholesterol concentration showed a low and HDL-cholesterol concentration showed a high in prunella vulgaris L. andpueraria Radixtreatment group. However LDL-cholesterol concentrations were not significantly different in treatmentgroups. Histological consideration of heart, liver and kidney in prunella vulgaris L. and pueraria Radixtreatment groupsshowed a good features in fat accumulation condition than those of other treatment groups. However in the condition ofhigh fat accumulation in tissues, heart, liver and kidney were showed a slight congestion and a bashed cell nucleus.Key words - Prunella vulgaris L., Chrysanthemum indicum L., Pueraria Radixcholesterol, Triglyceride, Glucose, FFA,β-lipoprotein.

After a remarkable decline for several decades, the incidence of tuberculosis as a whole and, in particular, the extrapulmonary gani-sms and increase of immunodepresed hosts. Although tuberculosis of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is rare, it is important to include it in the differential diagnosis for chronic nasal symptoms. The authors have experienced six cases of sinonasal tube-rculosis. We reviewed these cases as representing the characteristics of sinonasal tuberculosis occurring in Korea. Small cel carcinoma mainly occurs in the lung and extrapulmonary primary small cell carcinoma is uncommon. In the head and sinuses, tongue, salivary glands, esophagus, and trachea. We have recently experienced a case of primary small cel carcinoma of the supraglottis in a 69-year-old male. The patient was treated by sequential chemoradiotherapy. We reported this case with a review of the literature.
청각 스트레스가 3차원 시자극 유발전위에 미치는 영향 분석

연구는 인간에게 3차원 공간상에서 시청각 통합 환경을 만든 후 정신적 스트레스가 시각 자극을 통해 ERPs에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 정량적으로 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여, 정상 상태와 정신적 스트레스를 제시 상태를 구분하여 ERPs를 측정하였다. 실험은 정상상태의 남녀 10명의 피험자를 대상으로 하였고. 생체 신호는 Fpl, Fz, Cz. Pz, O1, O2의 영역에서 전자기적 영향을 받지 않는 차폐 공간에서 측정하였다. 그 결과 P300의 진폭은 스트레스를 제시한 경우에 좀더 커지고, 이때의 잠재기는 길어지는 결과를 얻었다 본 연구에서는 인간의 지각, 인지. 행동의 과정을 담당하는 뇌의 활동을 전위 변동으로 기록하여 정신적 스트레스의 영향을 측정하였다. 이러한 기초적 연구 검토를 통하여 인간의 제반 과정에 관한 뇌 기능의 이상을 평가 할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. This research was performed to analyze quantitatively how spiritual stress affects some ERPs on human through sight stimulus after the settlement of visual and auditory integration environment in three dimension space. We measured ERPs in the normal state and spiritual stress sessions separately. The subjects were 10 normal men and women and vital signs was recorded from Fpl, Fz, Cz, Pz, O1, O2's scalps. The experiment was done in isolated room where electro-magnetic effect do not affect. The result showed that P300's amplitude was a little higher under stress session and latent period in this resulted in longer time. We recorded through voltage variation the activity of brain which is in charge of human's perception. cognition, process of action and evaluated the effect of spiritual stress. We expected that the result of this research can be used to evaluate the malfunction of brain.

Contemporary high speed performance engine connecting rod must maintain high level of durablity. To this end, proper stress level and fatigue life during engine operation shouled be guaranteed. This study presents a new method for a Con-Rod shape optimization which minimizes weight while satisfying the given buckling and fatigue life criteria. For analysis, beam theory and modified Goodmann theory are used. The results of analysis is verified with finite element analysis. For optimization, the connecting rod shape is described by well defined geometric parameters such as ellipses and straight lines, which lead to an easier implementation for design and production. Augmented Lagrange Multiplier(ALM) and Quasi-Newton algorithms are employed for solving the nonlinear optimization problem.
