This study aims to systematically determine the factors used when small and medium-sized exporting enterprises (SMEs) in Korea select their logistics companies, examine the impact of such selection factors on the cooperation between an exporting company and its logistics enterprise, and analyze the influence such cooperation has on the exporting company’s logistics performance. Results of the factor analysis revealed that exchange factors such as service price relevance and tangibility, and service quality factors including reliability and stability are selection factors used by SMEs in Korea when scouting for a logistics enterprise. However, the result of the empirical analysis dismissed the hypothesis on tangibility, since currently the logistics equipment and information are similar among logistics companies. Moreover, it was determined that tangible assets are seen by such SMEs as not having an important influence when selecting a logistics enterprise. With respect to the influence of cooperation between a logistics enterprise and an exporting company relative to cost reduction and repurchasing intention as indicators of logistics performance, it has been identified that cooperation influences performance. Based on this identification, it can be concluded that when a cooperative relationship forms between an exporting company and a logistics enterprise, an exporting company will benefit from cost reduction and repurchasing intention will be evident. Based on these results, selecting a logistics enterprise, an exporting company primarily considers service price relevance, reliability of a logistics enterprise, and stability of a logistics enterprise. Also, in selecting an effective logistics enterprise, a closer relationship between an exporting company and logistics enterprise can only be created by improving a logistics enterprise’s service quality and increasing the logistics capability of an exporting company.

It has been pointed out that the shortage of the Korean science and engineering workforce is a key issue in enterprises` competitiveness. The Korean government has conducted various surveys and research projects to determine the current situation and its causes. Nevertheless, the surveys report different results, and, to date, very few in-depth studies have been conducted on the factors that lead to such a shortage. This study aimed at investigating the factors that cause the shortage of the science and engineering workforce by looking at a recent survey on the actual employment conditions in manufacturing and major service industries. The study also estimated the determinant factors, based on the results of a survey conducted on 5,967 enterprises. Particularly, the probability of the workforce shortages are defined as a logistic probability function, which includes a diverse number of explanations that represent the characteristics of an enterprise and its internal demand conditions on workforce. The findings showed that key determinants include not only the factors that have been recognized by previous studies, but also research propensity and competitiveness aw well as the enterprises` internal demand conditions on human resources. In other words, an enterprise is more exposed to the problem of workforce shortage when it performs its R&D more proactively and its innovative activities are more organized. It has been further analyzed that the R&D and internal demand variables are more eminent to the shortage problem on skilled workers, which proves the shortage of workforce is not only caused by the quantitative aspect but also hold qualitative aspect characterized by skill obsolescence and mismatch in the labor market.
Pre_Buffered 키스트림을 이용한 효율적인 암호처리 구현

모바일기기, 이동통신망, 유?무선 통신망의 발전으로 모바일 오피스 도입이 확산되고 있으나, 적절한 보안 대책 선행이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문은 모바일 환경의 통신 구간 보안을 위해 H/W 토큰을 이용한 IPSec VPN 솔루션을 구현함에 있어, H/W 토큰의 I/O 지연에 따른 성능 문제를 극복하는 방안으로 카운터 모드를 이용한 스트림 암호방식을 적용하되 키스트림을 버퍼링하는 방안을 제안하고, 버퍼링 방식이 IP 패킷의 가변 크기, 유실 및 비순차적인 전송 환경에서도 적용 가능한 설계를 제시하고, 구현 결과를 버퍼링을 적용하지 않은 기존 방식과 성능 비교를 통해 제안한 방식의 효율성을 증명한다. Mobile devices use VPN solution to transfer information securely through open network in mobile office environment. In this paper, we propose Pre_Buffered mechanism that improves the throughput of IPSec VPN using low performance H/W crypto Token. Pre_Buffered method precompute key stream, store them in Buffer and use them in IPSec engine for IP packet processing. Moreover, Design, analysis, and experimental results prove the efficiency and feasibility of our proposed method.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of abnormal veiling reflection form on the human visibility during visual tasks. Abnormal veiling reflection form may be one of factors which affects on the apparent task luminance and the apparent background luminance contrast. To evaluate the human visibility, the size and the style of reflection forms were considered under conditions of abnormal veiling reflection forms on the surface of visual target. Under the conditions of experiment, the semantic differential methodology was used to evaluate the levels of the human visibility and interference. For the experiment, ten subjects(6 male and 4 female) were participated and performed the tasks 4 times.

Manual lifting, as a part of manual materials handling activities, is recognized by authorities of occupational health and safety as safety as a major hazards to industrial workers. In order to minmize the injuries caused by manual material handling activities as well as maximize job productivity, it is important to determine the maximum weights, this paper presents the optimal combination of membership functions according to the four lifting frequency from waist height to acromion height and determines the safe maximum acceptable weights in manual lifting activities through the actual experiments.
