정보화 시대가 도래하고 급격히 발전해 감에 있어 모든 형태의 정보가 가장 중요한 가치로 평가되고있고 멀티미디어가 급속히 발달함으로 인해 산업 및 생활에서 정보 보안이 매우 중요한 관건이 되어 정보보안의 여러 형태 중의 한가지로서 얼굴인식은 최근 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 얼굴인식은 신체의 일부를 직접 접촉하지 않으므로 사용자로 하여금 불편함이나 기계적 반감을 불러일으키지 않는 장점으로 그 비중은 커질 것으로 예정되고 있다. 영상에 있어서 많은 중요한 정보가 영상픽셀들간의 고차원적인 연관 속에 담겨져 있을 것이다. ICA(Independent Component Analysis)는 이러한 고차원적인 정보를 2차원적인 정보로부터 추출하는 것이 아니라 각각의 고차원적인 정보를 직접 얻을 수 있는 장점을 이용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 얼굴인식시스템의 첫 번째 관문인 배경화면으로부터의 얼굴영상을 구별해내는 데 있어 ICA를 적용하여 기저영상벡터공간(Source or Basis Image Space)을 구하고 그 공간에 테스트할 영상을 투영시켜 얻어진 벡터의 consine distance를 이용하여 얼굴영상을 추출하는 방법에 대해서 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the effects of both seismic loading and crack length on the fracture behavior of piping system with a circumferential crack in nuclear power plants. The experiments were performed using both large scale piping system facility and 4 points bending test machine under PWR operating conditions. The difference in the load carrying capacities between cracked piping and non-cracked piping was also investigated using the results from experiments and numerical calculations. The results obtained from the experiments and estimation are as follows : (1) The safety margin under seismic loading is larger than those under quasi static loading or simple cyclic loading. (2) There was no significant effect of crack length on tincture behavior of piping system with both a surface crack and a through-wall crack. (3) The load carrying capacity in cracked piping was reduced by factors of 7 to 46 compared to non-cracked piping.
Rancho Seco Transient에 대한 고리 1호기 원자로용기의 건전성 평가

In this paper, Rancho Seco transient which is reported as a typical pressurized thermal shock event is postulated to be occuring in the Kori unit 1 plant, the oldest nuclear power plant in Korea. For the given material properties, transient history such as temperature and pressure, and postulated flaw, the stress distribution is obtained to calculate stress intensities for a wide range of assumed crack sizes. The stress intensities are compared with the fracture toughness, which is determined using the material properties and the distribution of the nil ductility transition temperature, to determine if cracking is expected to occur during the transient. The allowable operating year for the transient is determined and the evaluation results are discussed.
유한요소해석을 이용한 원자로용기 압력-온도 한계곡선의 평가

In order to operate an RPV safely it is necessary to keep the pressure-temperature (P-T) limit during the heatup and cooldown process. While the ASME Code provides the P-T limit curve for safe operation, this limit curve has been prepared under conservative assumptions In this paper the effects of conservative assumptions involved in the P-T limit curve specified in the ASME Code Sec. XI were investigated. Three different parameters the crack depth the cladding thickness and the cooling rate, were reviewed based on 3-D finite element analyses. Also the constraint effect on P-T limit curve generation was investigated based on J- T approach. It was shown that the crack depth and the constraint effect change the safe region in P-T limit curve significantly Therefore it is recommended to prepare a more precise P-T limit curve based on finite element analysis to obtain P-T limit for safe operation of an RPV.
재료내 기공결함에 의한 SH형 초음파 원거리 산란장의 신호특성에 대한 수치해석

In this study, the scattered far-field due to a cavity embedded in infinite media subjected to the incident SH-wave was calculated by the boundary element method. The effects of cavity shape and distance between internal cavity and internal point in infinite media were considered. The scattered far-field of the frequency domain was transformed into the signal of the time domain by using the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform(IFFT). It was found that the amplitude of scattered signal in time domain decreased with the increase of the distance between the detecting points of ultrasonic scattered field and the center of internal cavity in media. In addition, the time delay was clearly found in time domain waveform as the distance between the detecting points of ultrasonic scattered field and the center of internal cavity was gradually increased.

By the social advancement, radiological disaster prevention planning is getting important considering complex disasters as in the Fukushima radiological disaster occurred by a chain of natural disasters. However, it has yet to be suggested the specific prevention plans for the complex disasters in the field of national radiological disaster prevention. This study aims to analyze the types of complex disasters in order to select the ones that are relatively more likely to occur in the domestic environment. It is also to analyze the impact on the radiological disaster prevention by searching damage spread of the classified natural disasters. We provides the necessary criterial for establishing disaster prevention plans through the scenarios for radiological emergency responses based on complex disasters. it is thought that these criteria can help prepare for the worst case scenario and implement effective resident protection. 현대사회가 고도화되고, 후쿠시마 원전사고 역시 자연재난의 연쇄적인 영향으로 인해 발생함에 따라 복합재난을 고려한 방재계획의 중요성이 나날이 커지고 있다. 그러나 현재 국내의 방사능방재 분야에서 복합재난을 고려한 구체적인 방재계획은 제시되지 않고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 복합재난의 유형을 분석하여 국내 환경에서 비교적 발생 가능성이 높은 유형을 선정하고, 자연재난 유형별 피해확산이 방사능방재에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 복합재난을 고려한 방사능방재 시나리오를 통해 방재계획 수립에 필요한 기준들을 제시하였고, 이러한 기준은 최악의 상황 대비에 활용한다. 이는 실효적인 주민보호조치를 결정하고 이행하는 데에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
