SCC 시스템의 연비 향상 알고리즘 개발 및 성능 평가

SCC(Smart Cruise Control) system is developed and mass-produced for improvement of driver driving condition. And SCC system is popular for drivers and verified for effectiveness of decreasing driving load. In the future, SCC function will be more spreaded and expanded to autonomous vehicles. The fuel efficiency-considered SCC algorithm is proposed, developed and verified using test vehicle and VTHIL driving simulator. The suggested algorithm makes use gravity force applying road altitude information from precise map. This algorithm suggests that set speed is decreased at uphill and set speed is increased at downhill to make use gravity force and to save fuel. This algorithm is developed at real test vehicle and tested using real road database data which has many uphills and downhills. It is verified that the suggested algorithm is effective for saving fuel especially for 80, 90 kph speed. But It is necessary to verify this concept and algorithm at various real road driving conditions and environments.
