미국을 비롯한 선진 7개국에 의해 '87년 4월에 미사일 관련 부품 및 기술에 대하여 수출 통제가 합의된 이후, 지금까지 MTCR에 가입한 회원국은 25개국에 이르며, 비회원국중에서도 주요 미사일 수출국들은 MTCR지침을 준수하겠다고 약속하였다. 이에 정부는 구 COCOM 해체 후 급변하는 세계 정세 및 산업 고도화를 고려함과 동시에 국제적 지위 향상을 위해 미사일 비확산 체제의 회원국에 가입하고자 현재 추진중에 있다. 국내의 미사일 관련 전략 물자 수출 통제 제도를 원활히 운영해 나가기 위해서는 MTCR의 역사적 배경, 국제 활동 및 현안 문제점, 그리고 향후 예상되는 발전 과정을 이해하는 것이 중요하다고 생각한다. 따라서 이 글에서는 MTCR과 관련된 내용들의 문헌을 정리 요약하여 소개한다.

확장성을 고려한 웹 기반 SNMP 망 관리 시스템의 구현

SNMP는 네트워크의 장비들 사이에서 관리 정보를 주고받는 응용 계층 프로토콜로 동작 방법은 매우 간단하다. SNMP는 PDU를 통해서 관리 정보의 이름과 값을 서로 교환한다. 지금까지 네트워크 관리는 SNMP를 이용해 콘솔 기반으로 관리되었기 때문에 매우 불편했다. 이 논문에서는 새롭게 디자인된 사설 MIB와 GUI를 통한 웹 기반 SNMP 망 관리 시스템을 구현한다. 또한 확장성 문제를 해결하기 위해 가상 에이전트를 제안하고 구현한다. 제안된 가상 에이전트를 사용함으로써, 무분별한 트랩 발생에 대한 필터링과 계층적인 망 관리가 가능하게 된다. SNMP is a simple, application layer protocol and that is sending and receiving the management information among network devices. It exchanges the management information by the PDUs that have the management information names and values. Until now, network management is so inconvenience because of console-based management by using SNMP. This paper shows the Web-based SNMP network management system that is using the designed private MIB and GUI. In this paper, we have proposed a virtual SNMP agent supporting scalability of network management. With the virtual agent, large-scale network can be managed simply by trap filtering and hierarchical management.

2004년도 1분기 현재 세계 이동통신 가입자는 약13억 4,800만명으로 인구대비 보급률은 아직 29%에 불과하나, 2004년 5월 현재 국내 이동 전화 가입자는 3천 6백만 명을 넘어서, 인구대비 보급률 75%를 상회하면서 우리 나라도 이동통신강국에 진입하고 있다. 무선인터넷 서비스는 1999년 5월 처음 서비스를 제공한 이후 통신사의 꾸준한 투자와 단말기의 고급화(컬러폰, 디지털 카메라폰) 및 번호이동성 (MNP) 제도도입 등으로 지속적인 증가추세로 2004년 5월 현재 무선인터넷 가입자는 총 3천 450만 명으로 이동전화 가입자 대비 95.3%의 가입률을 기록하고 있다. 이동전화 시장은 요금인하 또는 품질개선 등의 지속적인 질적 경쟁보다는 가입자의 양적 유치경쟁에 치우치고 있어 이용자들이 다양한 무선인터넷 서비스를 합리적으로 선택할 수 있도록 무선인터넷 서비스의 사전 요금정보의 제공과 무선인터넷 서비스의 요금체계 개선을 위하여 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷의 접속 및 컨텐츠 다운로드로 DATA를 측정하고 결과를 분석하여 과금 체계의 개선방향을 제시하여 무선인터넷 서비스의 활성화에 기여하고자 한다. In the first quarter of 2004, there were about 1 billion 348 million mobile phone users worldwide with a penetration rate of only 29%. Korea ranks among the highest in the use of mobile communication, having over 36 million mobile phone subscribers with a mobile phone penetration rate of 75% as of May 2004. Since the introduction of wireless Internet service in May 1999, the number of subscribers rose to 34.5 million with 95.3% of the total mobile phone subscribers using wireless Internet services in May 2004, largely due to continued investments by telecommunication service providers, improvement of mobile handsets (color and digital camera phones) and implementation of policies on mobile number portability. In the Korean wireless Internet market, there are many user complaints since the service providers are competing with each other through TV commercial sales and phone discounts rather than improving their call quality, services and billing systems. therefore there is a growing need to improve the billing systems through means such as the implementation of reasonable payment plans according to consumer use, development of a wireless Internet billing system that can predict the number of users and establishment of pricing standards for controlled data (head, tail, etc...) as well as menu information by testing the texts. multimedia, video and other types of content provided by the three major mobile communication companies. The purpose of this study is to promote wireless Internet services and protect user rights by proposing a reasonable way to improve the billing systems for wireless Internet services after conducting a comparative analysis of file size and billing data of each of the service providers through a verification test on a packet billing system for wireless Internet services.

초고속통신망을 위한 구내통신 설로설비의 브릿지 탭의 문제점과 개선 방안

기존 공동주택의 구내통신 선로설비 중의 댁내배선은 대부분 버스 배선 형태의 구조로 아웃렛의 위치에 따라 브릿지 탭(Bridged Tap)이 존재하게 된다. 이 브릿지 탭은 높은 주파수 대역을 사용하는 고속멀티미디어 통신의 특정 주파수에서 반사손실의 특성이 저하되어 선로의 감쇠가 급격히 증가하여 전송성능을 저하시키고 있어 이에 대한 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 주거용 공동주택의 대표적인 아파트의 구내선로 구조 및 댁내 배선환경을 파악하고, 현업의 구내통신설비를 모델링하여 시험모형을 제작하여 VDSL 서비스 성능을 측정하였다. VDSL 서비스 시 브릿지 탭에 의해 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 기존 구내통신 선로의 문제점을 파악하고, 향후 초고속 멀티미디어 서비스 수용에 적합한 구내통신 선로의 품질개선 방안을 제시하였다. The position of the bridged tap is determined by that of the outlet in most modern apartments, since most of the indoor wiring utilizes the bus wiring structure when deploying the indoor communication line. These bridged taps deteriorate transmission performance in the specific frequency at the time of high-speed multimedia communication, which uses a high frequency bandwidth, since the duality of return loss worsens and line attenuation increases rapidly. As a result, analysis on this phenomenon is required. In this study, the test model is created by modeling the intercommunication facility of the apartment that is the most representative residential house type, and by understanding the structure and the environment of the indoor wiring. Also, how the bridge tap affects performance is analyzed when the VDSL service is provided, so that problems of intercommunication lines can be identified and methods for improving the proper intercommunication line can be suggested, which is suitable for accommodating high-speed multimedia service of the future.
