        와이브로 환경에서 랩터 FEC 기반의 채널 적응형 비디오 전송 기법

        와이브로 네트워크의 경우 무선 환경에서 높은 데이터 레이트를 제공하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 무선 환경에서 비디오를 전송할 때 패킷 손실과 핸드오프등에 의해 화질이 저하되는 문제가 발생하게 된다. 특히, 비디오 데이터는 패킷 손실에 의해서는 슬라이스 단위로 손실되고, 핸드오프에 의해서는 프레임 전체가 손실되는 현상이 발생한다. 이렇게 비디오 데이터가 손실이 되면 클라이언트에서는 에러가 지속적으로 확산되는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 랩터 FEC 기반의 채널 적응형 비디오 전송 방법을 제안 한다. 무선 채널의 패킷 손실에 의해 비디오의 화질 열화가 발생할 경우 서버는 채널 상황에 따라 FEC 레벨을 조절하여 비디오를 인코딩 한다. 또한, 단말의 이동 중 핸드오프에 의해 프레임이 손실될 경우 서버에서는 새로운 인트라 프레임을 만들어 에러가 확산되는 것을 방지하는 방법을 제안한다. 알고리즘의 성능평가는 실험을 통하여 보여주도록 한다 The packet loss and the disconnection during handoff are the most critical problems which degrade the video quality in wireless video streaming. To cope with these problems, we propose an efficient video streaming method in this paper, which does not only dynamically adjust the video transmission rate based on the raptor forward error correction (FEC) level, but also minimize the error propagation during handoff. Firstly, the channel bandwidth of the wireless broadband internet, called WiBro, is estimated by analyzing channel parameters including the carrier to interference and noise ratio (CINR) and the handoff. Secondly, the streaming server adjusts the next transmission rate according to the estimated channel bandwidth and the raptor FEC level to avoid packet error. Also, the encoder performs the intra refresh method that inserts an intra frame (I-frame) right after handoff to reduce the error propagation effectively. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method can improve the performance of the video streaming over WiBro network.

        한국에서 사육중인 모돈 및 30, 60, 90일령 돼지의 돼지파보바이러스에 대한 혈청학적 역학조사

        A total of 701 swine sera from 55 swine farms (Mar, 1998 through Feb, 2001) were nation-widely collected for the presence of antibody to porcine parvovirus (PPV) in sows and 30-, 60-, 90-day-old pigs. Sero-prevalence by haemagglutination inhibition assay with guinea pig red blood cells was investigated on the basis of year, region and season, respectively. In general, there was no significant difference with gradual decrease of passive immunity for the sero-prevalence to PPV in sows and 30-, 60-, 90-day-old pigs for the period of 1999 and 2000. However, regional variation was observed in the provinces of Kyonggi, Choongnam and Kyungnam, Natural infection of the virus in 90-day-old pigs was increased during the fall and the winter. Thus, it seems that the natural infection of PPV in growing pigs may be attributed to the increased outbreak of postweaning multisystemic wasting syndorme in co-infection with porcine circoviruses.

        3차원 측정에 의한 한국 성인남자의 머리형태 분석

        The anatomical structure of the head and face are influenced by environmental factors. Therefore in this study we had undertaken to determine normal values of the head and face by 3D measurement in the 384 normal Korean male adults to find out craniofacial characteristics of Korean male adults by the age group. From the basic statistical data analysis, vertex-tragion and the length between the pupils were the longest in their twenties and grew shorter in elderly groups. According to the analysis of the craniofacial proportion. the head type of Korean male adults was short-headed. The statistically noticeable differences were found in the measurement of the left and the right sides of face iii the age groups of 20, 30, 40, and 50. The results of the factor analysis of the age group showed two groups which were classified to 20, 40, 50 ages and 30, 60 ages. The order of factor analysis was as follows; the perpendicular length, the horizontal length, and the width (from highest).

        Porphyromonas gingivalis에 대한 노각나무 잎 추출물의 항균활성 및 생물막 형성 억제 효과

        본 연구에서는 천연물유래 구강건강 개선소재로써 노각나무의 이용 가능성을 알아보기 위해 노각나무 잎과 줄기를 에탄올에 추출한 다음 구강미생물에 대한 추출물의 항균활성을 조사하였다. 노각나무 잎과 줄기 추출물(1 mg/disc)은 구강미생물 중 P. gingivalis KCTC5352에 대해서만 항균활성을 나타내었으며 줄기보다는 잎 추출물의 항균활성이 우수하였다. 시판되고 있는 구강케어제품에 사용되고 있는 항균제와 노각나무 잎 추출물의 항균활성을 비교한 결과, P. gingivalis에 대한 노각나무 잎 추출물과 양성대조구로 사용한 triclosan의 항균활성은 유사하게 나타났으며. P. gingivalis에 대한 노각나무 잎 추출물의 MIC는 0.4 mg/ml이고 정균작용을 하였다. 노각나무 잎 추출물이 0.2-2.0 mg/ml 농도로 처리된 배양액에서 P. gingivalis KCTC5352의 생물막 형성과 세균 생육은 추출물의 농도가 증가할수록 농도의존적으로 억제되는 경향을 보였다. 또한 노각나무 잎 추출물(1 mg/ml) 처리가 P. gingivalis의 생물막 형성에 미치는 영향을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과에 의하면 추출물을 처리하지 않은 대조구는 추출물 처리구에 비해 P. gingivalis가 군집을 이루며 모여 있었고 세포 주변에서 생물막이 관찰되었지만 추출물을 처리한 처리구의 세포 주변에서는 생물막을 관찰할 수 없었다. qRT-PCR을 이용하여 생물막 형성 초기 과정에서 치면 부착에 필수적인 섬모(fimbriae)관련 mRNA 발현 양상을 0조사한 결과, 노각나무 잎 추출물이 0.2-2.0 mg/ml의 농도로 처리된 배양액에서 fimA와 mfa1 유전자 발현은 추출물의 농도가 높아질수록 농도의존적으로 억제되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과를 종합하면 노각나무 잎 추출물은 치주질환 원인균인 P. gingivalis에 대한 항균 활성과 생물막 형성 억제능이 우수하기 때문에 천연물유래 구강건강 개선소재로써 이용 가능성이 높을 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to investigate the potential of Stewartia koreana as oral healthcare materials. The antibacterial activity of ethanol extracts from leaves and branches of S. koreana against oral bacteria was confirmed. The leaf and branch extracts (1 mg/disc) showed antibacterial activity against P. gingivalis only among several tested oral bacteria. The leaf extracts showed higher antibacterial activity, with values similar to those of chlorhexidine, which was used as a positive control. The MIC of the leaf extract against P. gingivalis was 0.4 mg/ml and showed bacteriostatic action. The inhibitory effects of the extract on biofilm formation and on gene expression related to biofilm formation by P. gingivalis were determined by biofilm biomass staining, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and qRT-PCR analysis. The biofilm production rate and cell growth of P. gingivalis in the cultures treated with 0.2-2.0 mg/ml of S. koreana leaf extracts were significantly decreased in a concentration-dependent manner. The inhibitory effect on the formation of P. gingivalis biofilms at concentrations of 1 mg/ml was confirmed by SEM. The qRT-PCR analysis showed concentration-dependent suppression of the fimA and fimB gene expression associated with fimbriae formation in the cultures treated with 0.2-2.0 mg/ml S. koreana leaf extract. These results support the conclusion that S. koreana leaf extracts can be used as oral healthcare materials derived from natural materials, as demonstrated by the antibacterial action and inhibition of biofilm formation of P. gingivalis.

        한국 성인여성 중 무지외반증으로 인한 발 변형환자의 수술 전,후 발부위 계측치 및 요인분석

        In order to study the foot deformity hallux valgus, the rate of which is currently increasing, 235 patients who were diagnosed with hallux valgus and treated in an orthopedic hospital in Seoul had their feet calibrated before and after surgery using 3d radio-scans. Data from 209 cases was analyzed and scored numerically. We scored 10 items for length, 4 for width, 3 for angle, and 2 for height, for a total of 20 items. Each individual``s feet showed great variation in most of the items and significant differences after surgery, especially in regards to length and height, which increased after surgery. Angle, width, and length of the distal parts of the toes decreased after surgery. Based on the results of our analysis, we conclude that surgery brings about significant changes in structure and measurement of feet. This research confirmed that there is significant variation in foot form and individual differences based on lesion size and location and, thus, it is difficult for hallux valgus patients to find ready-made shoes that fit them properly.         첨착 활성탄을 활용한 산성가스 제거 연구

        In this study, the acid gas adsorption characteristics of impregnated AC, which increased the chemical activity of AC and improved selective adsorption for specific components, were studied using lap-scale experimental devices. The three types of AC (general, KOH and K₂CO₃ impregnated) were identified by the analysis of SEM, BET and TGA. It was found that the surface area and the mass loss rate of AC differed depending on the type of impregnation contents. Subsequently, Three types of AC were evaluated for adsorption performance according to temperature. In addition, 20 wt% KOH impregnated AC conducted adsorption and breakthrough point of SO₂ and NO₂ gases. The breakthrough point of SO₂ and NO₂ is 15 and 7 minutes, respectively. The results of the experiment shown th t the adsorption efficiency of the impregnated AC was higher than that of the AC and was proportional to the temperature.

        Streptococcus mutans에 대한 인도감나무 줄기 추출물의 항균활성 및 생물막 형성 억제 효과

        본 연구에서는 천연물 유래 구강 건강소재로써 인도감나무 줄기 추출물의 이용 가능성을 평가하기 위해 TLC, TLC-bioautography, HPLC, ESI-MS 등을 이용하여 인도감나무 줄기 추출물로부터 S. mutans KCTC3065에 대해 항균활성이 있는 항균물질을 분리하고 주사전자현미경과 real-time PCR을 이용하여 추출물이 S. mutans의 생물막에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. S. mutans에 대한 인도감나무 줄기 추출물의 항균활성은 극성이 낮은 n-hexane 분획물에서 확인되었고 TLC, TLC-bioautography, HPLC에 의해 분리된 항균물질의 분자량은 ESI-MS분석 결과 188로 추정되었다. 인도감나무 줄기 추출물(1 mg/ml) 처리에 따른 S. mutans의 바이오필름 바이오매스 변화는 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였으며 추출물을 처리하지 않은 대조구는 추출물 처리구에 비해 세포가 군집을 이루고 모여 있었으며 세포 주변에서 바이오필름이 관찰되었지만 추출물을 처리한 처리구의 세포 주변에서는 바이오필름을 관찰할 수 없었다. Real-time PCR을 이용하여 바이오필름 생성 과정에서 치면 부착에 필수적인 GTFs의 발현양상을 조사한 결과, 인도감나무 추출물이 0.2-1.0 mg/ml의 농도로 처리된 배양액에서 gtfB 유전자 발현은 추출물의 농도에 따라 큰 변화가 없었지만 gtfC 유전자 발현은 추출물의 농도가 높아질수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과를 종합하면 인도감나무 줄기 추출물은 바이오필름 형성 단계에서 치아우식증 원인균인 S. mutans의 초기 치면 부착을 저해함으로서 바이오필름 생성을 억제할 수 있는 천연물 유래 구강 건강소재로써 이용 가능성이 높을 것으로 판단된다. The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential of Diospyros malabarica stem extract, a natural materials, in oral health material. With this aim in mind, thin layer chromatography (TLC), TLC-bioautography, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), electrospray ionization–mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and real-time qPCR were performed. The antibacterial activity of D. malabarica stem extract against Streptococcus mutans KCTC3065 was confirmed in an n-hexane fraction with low polarity. The molecular weight of the antibacterial compound was estimated to be 188 by ESI-MS analysis. The inhibitory effects of the extract on biofilm formation and gene expression related to biofilm formation of S. mutans were determined by SEM and real-time PCR analysis. The extract inhibited the formation of S. mutans biofilms at D. malabarica stem extract concentrations of 1 mg/ml, as shown by SEM. The real-time PCR analysis showed that the expression of the gtfC gene, which is associated with biofilm formation, was significantly decreased in a dose-dependent manner. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that D. malabarica stem extracts, a natural materials, can be used in oral health products to suppress the formation of biofilms by inhibiting tooth adhesion of S. mutans, a causative agent of dental caries.

        Gyeonggi Province ranks first among the percentage of foreigners residing in Korea, with 29,560 Sungnam taking sixth. Compared to the distribution of foreign residents, there is a lack of policies and facilities, and the human rights of foreigners living in Korea are also hard to be protected. The policy for the settlement of foreigners and the integration of society is awkward and they have the right to be recognized. As a result, it is possible to become a basic living beneficiary, and to improve the facilities and housing facilities that can enjoy the welfare + culture of foreigners in order to solve the human rights problems of foreigners and to solve the problem of adaptation to Korean life. The purpose of this study is to propose a welfare culture center for foreigners in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, which can solve the welfare + culture and housing problems for foreigners Welfare culture center was conducted in the following procedures and methods to protect human rights and adaptation of foreigners. First of all, the land was selected in Moran-ro, Jung-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, which has a large proportion of foreigners but the welfare facilities are not operating properly. The facilities were located in the Foreign Welfare Center, Administrative Welfare Center, Taepyeong Station, Chinatown, etc. In addition, welfare and cultural centers and residential facilities were required for the welfare of foreigners.
