        Station Keeping Maneuver Planning Using COMS Flight Dynamic Software

        태양과 달 그리고 지구의 비대칭 중력장에 의해 발생하는 다양한 섭동항은 정지궤도 위성의 위치를 지속적으로 변화시킨다. 따라서, 정지궤도 위성의 위치를 일정한 범위 내로 유지시키기 위해서는 궤도경사각과 승교점 적경을 조정하는 남북방향 위치유지와 이심률과 경도를 조정하는 동서방향 위치유지가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 통신해양기상위성 비행역학 소프트웨어를 이용하여 통신해양기상위성의 위치유지 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 통신해양기상위성은 경도 $128.2^{\circ}E$ 에서 위성을 ${\pm}0.05^{\circ}$ 범위 내에 유지시키기 위해 일주일 주기로 동서/남북방향 위치유지를 수행하며, 위성의 남쪽 패널에만 부착된 태양 전지판으로 부터 발생하는 자세오차를 줄이기 위해 하루 두 번 휠 오프로딩을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 휠오프로딩을 고려한 위치유지 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고, 그 결과 통신해양기상위성 비행역학 소프트웨어를 이용하여 통신해양기상위성을 ${\pm}0.05^{\circ}$ 범위 내에서 안정적으로 유지시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. Various perturbations by the sun, the moon and the earth itself cause a continuous change in nominal position of a geostationary satellite. In order to maintain the satellite within a required window, north-south station keeping for controlling inclination and right ascension of ascending node, and east-west station keeping for controlling eccentricity and longitude are required. In this paper, station keeping maneuver simulation for Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS) was performed using COMS Flight Dynamics Software(FDS) and the results were analyzed. COMS performs weekly based east-west/north-south station keeping to maintain satellite within ${\pm}0.05^{\circ}$ at the nominal longitude of $128.2^{\circ}E$. In addition, COMS performs wheel off-loading maneuver twice a day to eliminate attitude error caused by one-solar wing in the south panel of the satellite. In this paper, station keeping maneuver considering wheel off-loading maneuver was performed and the results showed that COMS can be maintained well within ${\pm}0.05^{\circ}$ window using COMS FDS.

        오페라 <La Serva Padrona> 무대의상의 현대적 재해석 - 로코코시대의 장식요소를 중심으로 -

        Opera is the most comprehensive musical art. In recent years, contemporary opera worlds has seen a variety of attempts to reinterpret operas of the past in a modern light. This has resulted in a dramatic change in the production of musical style and stage art. The purpose of the study was to modernize and streamline opera costumes by extending the scope of existing stage costume design, through the reinterpretation and application of the decorative elements in the Middle Age of Rococo, such as ruffles, frills, shirring, embroidery, buttons, etc., in such a way as to effectively communicate the moods of an opera to a modern audience. The costumes of the Rococo period were reinterpreted in a modern way, with the following results. First, in this work, the male main character was played by a bass to express the image of an older, lazy, rich man. A key element in modernizing the stage costume was selection of the costume color in such a way as to visually represent the voice tones sung by the major characters in the opera. Second, the maid hat and aprons were decorated with frills by applying the curves of Rocaille decoration from the Rococo period symbolize the role of the maids. This represented the distinction between occupation according to class and status at that time, while also expressing the ideals of modern feminine beauty. This makes for more comfortably-worn costumes, and is economical for production expenses. In the future, the stage costume design for classical opera will need to be revised consideration of a modern viewpoint.

        문어 말뭉치에서의 "곧다"와 "바르다"의 의미와 사용에 대한 연구

        Synonymy has been one of the intriguing topics in lexical semantics. As a study of synonymy, this research explores and compares the meanings and uses of kotta and paluta ‘straight’ through an analysis of the Sejong Written Corpus. After a brief discussion of previous studies and dictionary definitions, this research shows the frequency rates and cooccurrence relations of kotta and paluta in the database. Examination shows that kotta occurs 71 times, and paluta 255 times, showing a great difference in the number of their occurrences in the database in spite of their similarity in meaning. Second, this research examines the cooccurrence relations of the two adjectives, showing that two thirds of the kotta tokens cooccur with concrete nouns, and that about three fourths of the paluta tokens with abstract nouns, showing a sharp contrast in the distribution. Based on the observation, this research explores metaphorically extended meanings of kotta and paluta in terms of the metaphors of MORALITY/ MANNERS/MIND... IS/ARE ENTITIES and MORALITY/INTEGRITY IS BEING STRAIGHT. Finally, this research shows that a corpus-linguistic approach and metaphor theory are useful tools for characterizing synonymous words and metaphorically extended meanings of synonymous lexical items.

        한국 인터넷 신문의 흥미 유발 전략의 텍스트언어학적/사회언어학적 분석

        In these days, internet media play an import ant role in spreading news and other information in our everyday life. This research investigates types of title lines and journalistic strategies internet news from textlinguistic and sociolinguistic perspectives. After a brief review of studies of newspapers, this study compares properties of published newspapers and internet news. Bearing the properties of internet news service, this research investigates types of title lines of internet news in terms of their grammar, topics, and styles. Examination shows that the following types of title lines are used: (i) incomplete information units such as titles of clausal units or phrases with blanks, (ii) titles with pronominal expressions, (iii) question-type phrases with question words or marks or markers of reasons, (iv) gossips of people in the world of sports and entertainment, (v) puzzle-type titles, phrases of broad, ambiguous categories, and so on. Based on the examination of types of titles, this research explores reporters` strategies of arousing interests out of commercial interests, leading readers to read certainnews articles as many as possible. Finally, this paper shows that an analysis of titles in the internet news services from the perspective of textlinguistics and critical discourse analysis reveals the journalistic strategies in producing texts in the interest of commercialism.

        국어 문어 말뭉치에서의 "따뜻하다"의 의미와 용법에 대한 연구

        This research investigates the meanings and uses of ttattushata ``warm``, one of the adjectives used to signal speaker`s judgement about temperature, through an analysis of a Korean written corpus. First, this study examines the frequency of ttattushata and grammatical forms, showing the dominant attributive usage of ttattushata with the rate of 61.1%. Second, it shows the distribution of meanings of ttattushata by classifying types of nouns co-occurring with ttatushata in attributive and predicative positions. The meanings of ttattushata can be summarized as in the following: (i) denoting mild temperature of weather, concrete objects, body parts, etc. and (ii) showing friendly atmosphere, attitudes, behaviors, etc. Third, after examining the literal and extended meanings of ttattushata, this work characterizes abstract meanings of ttattushata in terms of metaphor theory, showing that the metaphorically extended meanings are derived from the conceptual metaphor that views abstract notions as temperature-transmitting concrete objects by matching concrete objects to abstract notions/entities. Finally, this research claims that a corpus-based approach is a useful tool in characterizing many closely related lexical items in written texts.

        문어 말뭉치에서의 ‘동물’과 ‘짐승’의 문자적 의미와 비유적 의미의 사용에 대한 분석

        Metaphor theory (MT) has been widely used to characterize literal vs. figurative meanings of lexical items. The purpose of this research is to explore literal vs. figurative meanings and uses of the lexical items tongmwul ‘animal’ and cimsung ‘beast’ in terms of lexical semantics, corpus linguistics, and metaphor theory through an analysis of a Korean written corpus. The examination of the database shows that the number of tokens of tongmwul amounts to 1.6 times more than that of cimsung. It also shows that the frequencies of the figurative use of tongmwul and cimsung amount to 2.1% and 18.0%, respectively. Based on this observation, this paper discusses literal vs. figurative meanings of tongmwul and cimsung, focusing on the figurative uses of those two lexical items. In the figurative use of tongmwul and cimsung, man is usually described as immoral, savage beings who are far below the standard level of reason, emotion, morality, etc. When considered in terms of MT, figurative uses of tongmwul and cimsung can be explained as metaphorically extended meanings, being derived from the metaphors of MEN ARE ANIMALS and UNETHICAL HUMAN BEINGS ARE ANIMALS. Finally, this research shows that a corpus-based analysis of real, authentic data is a useful method for understanding and explaining literal vs. figurative uses of any lexical items.

        국어 담화에서의 "-는 것 같다"의 화용적 의미와 상호작용적 기능

        This research investigates meanings and functions of the modal marker -nun kes kathta ‘I think’ from an interactional perspective. This marker carries not only the state of speaker’s knowledge about a state/event but also the speaker’s stances toward the proposition being delivered. After providing a brief summary of the previous studies, this research examines properties of -nun kes kathta in two terms: (i) speaker’s guessing or supposition which is made based on indirect and inferable evidence, and (ii) speaker’s politeness strategy of not imposing on others. Examination shows that the use of -nun kes kathta is related to the speaker’s stance toward his/her guessing/ supposition about an event/state. The use of -nun kes kathta intends to seek the next speaker’s agreement, disagreement, or additional information. Finally, this research suggests that an interactional approach is needed in analyzing lexical items or grammatical constructions to characterize them in their contexts.

        최명익 소설의 서술 기법 연구

        최명익 소설이 지니는 독특한 위상은 그를 새롭게 검토해야 할 필요성을 시사해 준다. 무엇보다 최명익이 해방 후 발표한 글들까지를 문제 삼고 해방 전과 후를 아우르는 연구가 필요하다. 하지만 최명익에 대한 대부분의 앞선 연구들이 해방 전 소설 논의에 초점을 맞추고 있고, 해방 후 소설까지 연구하는 경우에도 작품 분석을 통한 구체적 논의보다는 북한문학이라는 큰 틀 속에서 주제론적으로 접근하거나 그의 소설이 차지하는 위상을 점검하는 정도에서 그치고 있다. 본고는 이런 문제의식을 전제로 최명익의 해방 후 소설인 <맥령>을 서술 기법 중심으로 분석해 보았다. 극단적인 변화의 여정을 보인 최명익 소설세계의 전모를 밝히기 위해서는 기법 연구 역시 기존의 연구를 넘어서 해방 후 작품까지를 고려해야 한다. 그 첫 단계로서 본고는 해방 직후 북한에서 발표한 첫 작품인 <맥령>을 서술 기법을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. <맥령>은 최명익 소설의 전과 후를 가르는 분기점이 되는 작품으로 해방 직후의 혼란과 열정, 당 중심의 북한문학으로 나아가기까지의 최명익의 갈등과 고뇌가 고스란히 들어있다. 본 논의를 좀 더 분명히 하고, 해방을 전후한 변화를 대조해 보기 위해 2장에서 <장삼이사>를 먼저 살펴 본 뒤, 3장에서 <맥령>을 다루었다. 「맥령」에서 토지개혁이라는 정치ㆍ사회의 본질을 반영하고, 사회변혁 주체로서의 민중을 그려냈다는 점에서 이로부터 최명익이 당 중심의 북한문학으로 한 걸음 다가섰다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 작품의 안팎을 장악하는 서술자의 권위적 담론은 소설 속에 등장하는 인물들의 말과 행동, 생각까지 규정하고 주제를 강조하며 북한 역사 서술의 관점을 그대로 전달한다. 해방 전 최명익이 보여 준 부정과 비판의 정신이 사라진 곳에 정치적 담론에 의거한 북한의 문예창작 강령에 충실한 서사가 자리하게 된 것이다. 근대비판의 주체에서 이데올로기적 주체로 나아간 최명익의 고뇌와 변모를 서술자의 변화 속에서 읽을 수 있을 것이다. A unique status of Choi Myung-Ik’s novels suggests that he should be reexamined anew. Above all, what is necessary is an all-encompassing study of his novels published both before and after Liberation. However, most of the previous studies on Choi Myung-Ik focused on his novels written before Liberation. Even in the case of the study on his novels written after Liberation it only approached them thematically or surveyed their status in the broad framework of North Korean Literature rather than discussed them concretely through analyses of his novels. Having such a critical mind, this article attempts to analyze his novel 『Maegryeong』 published after Liberation in terms of the narrative technique. In order to investigate and reveal the trajectory of drastic changes in Choi Myung-Ik’s works of novel, the research on his narrative technique should include the examination of his novels published after Liberation beyond the existing research trend. As a first step, this article explores the narrative technique in 『Maegryeong』, the first novel Choi published in North Korea right after Liberation. As the watershed work of Choi, 『Maegryeong』 reflects both chaos and fervor directly after Liberation and conflict and agony Choi suffered from in getting closer to the party-centered North Korean literature. To begin with, chapter 2 examines 『Jang-sam-i-sa』, a novel published prior to Liberation, to make the point of argument clear and contrast changes in his narrative technique before and after Liberation. Then the analysis of 『Maegryeong』 follows in chapter 3. Choi Myung-Ik endeavored to go beyond the task given right after Liberation by juxtaposing self-reflection of intellectuals and positive figuration of laborers and farmers. He got closer to the party-centered North Korean literature in the sense that he reflected the land reform, i.e., the essential of the political society and portrayed the people as the primary agent in transforming society in 『Maegryeong』. Being assimilated into North Korean literature, the narrator who led the critical discourse of colonial modernity prior to Liberation remained a purveyor of authoritative discourse outside the literary works. Additionally, the narration devoted to the North Korean doctrines for literary creation based on the political discourse came to get settled in the very place where the spirit of negative criticism lapsed.
