The Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is an autosornal dominant condition characterized by mucocutaneous pigmentation and hamartomatous polyps of the gastrointestinal tract. This syndrome is clinically important because of complications caused by gastrointestinal polyps, such as abdorninal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding and intussusception often leading to intestinal obstruction. The possibility of malignant change in the polyp has been a controversial issue. In the recent reviews of soe cases of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, the reported lesions of small intestinal adenocarcinoma are regarded as the benign process of enteritis cystica profunda. We present herein a case of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome with small bowel perforation, a previously unreported instance, and enteritis cystica profunda. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1997; 29:677-682)
상부위장관질환 환자에서 H . pylori 감염에 의한 위점막의 조직학적 변화와 혈청 Gastrin 및 혈청 IgG항체가의 상관관계

N/A Background/Aims: This study was performed to investigate the relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and degree of gastric mucosal inflammation, IgG antibody titer against H. pylori, and fasting serum gastrin level. Methods: Patients were divided into 2 groups(H. pylori positive and negative) by identification of H. pylori in biopsied specimens with special staining. In H. pylori positive group, the density of gastric K. pylori colonization was further graded semiquantitatively from 1 to 3. The severity of gastritis in each group was scored according to the Sydney system from 0 to 3. Serum IgG antibody titer against H. pylori was detected by second-generation antigen based enzyme immunoassay(Cobas Core Anti-Helicobacter pylori EIA). Fasting serum gastrin level was measured by standard radioimmunoassay technique. Results: The severity of gastritis in H. pylori positive group was significantly higher than H. pylori negative group in mononuclear cell infiltration(pC0.001), activity of PMNL(pC0.001), and glandular atrophy(pC0.01). In H. pylori positive group, the density of H. pylori colonization was significantly correlated with mononuclear cell infiltration(r=0.67, p0.001), activity of PMNL(r=0.70, p0.001), and grandular atrophy (r=0.38, pC0.001). Neither density of H. pylori colonization nor severity of gastritis was correlated with fasting gastrin level and IgG antibody titer against H. pylori. Conclusions: H. pylori infection results in localized inflammatory reaction in gastric mucosa with relation to density of H. pylori colonization, but serum H. pylori IgG antibody titer does not reflect the severity of gastritis. Fasting serum gastrin level also has no relation with the density of H. pylori colonization and severity of gastritis. These findings suggest that the factor which cause inflammation in gastric mucosa may be different from that cause gastrin secretion or formation of IgG antibody. Vehicle interior noise above 500㎐ is usually controlled by sound package parts. The materials and geometries of sound package parts directly affect on this high frequency noise, so those effects should be simulated. In this study, Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) is utilized to simulate the design change effects of sound package parts for a CUV vehicle. Using a commercial SEA simulation tool, a SEA vehicle model is built and validated for idealized acoustic excitations, and the validated model is used for wide open throttle (WOT) condition. Design changes of 7 sound package parts are considered, and their effects on Articulation Index (AI) are analyzed using a DOE approach, and optimal design alternatives are chosen. Finally, through several vehicle tests it is proved that AI can be improved with decrease of weight and cost with aid of SEA approach.
다문화가족 방문교육지도사의 셀프리더십과 직무몰입에 관한 연구

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in self-leadership and job involvement based on the education levels, majors, and teaching experiences of multicultural family home-visit instructors and the influence of self-leadership on job involvement. Methods: 668 home-visit instructors participated in the online survey from 140 multicultural family support centers in Seoul, 6 metropolitan cities, 9 provinces, and other cities and counties. Data were analyzed through frequency, percentages, Pearson’s correlations, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé post-hoc test, and stepwise multi-regression using SPSS 21.0. Results: The main findings are as follows. First, instructors who were high school graduates had significantly higher scores in self-leadership than the other groups. There was only a significant difference in self-reward of self-leadership based on their majors. There were no significant differences in job involvement based on the education level and major. The greater their home-visit teaching experiences, the higher their scores in self-leadership and job involvement. Second, the stepwise multiple regression model showed that self-expectation, self-goal setting, constructive thinking, and rehearsal of self-leadership explained 49% of the total variance in job involvement. Conclusion: Even though the high school graduates had significantly higher scores in self-expectation, rehearsal, and constructive thinking of self-leadership than the other groups, overgeneralization should be avoided because the sample size was relatively small. Based on the finding that greater home-visit teaching experiences was associated with higher self-leadership and job involvement, it would be necessary to improve working condition to prevent instructors from changing jobs. These findings stress the importance of providing opportunities for home-visit instructors to develop leadership, thus improving job involvement.
유근피(Ulmus pumila)로부터 분리한 phenol성 물질의 건강기능식품 활성

유근피에 함유된 페놀성 물질은 70% ethanol을 용매로 하여 12시간 추출하였을 때 17.9±1.0 mg/g으로 가장 많이 용출되었다. 유근피 추출물의 항산화력을 측정한 결과 전자공여능은 50 μg/mL 이상의 phenolic 농도에서 물추출물과 70% ethanol 추출물 모두에서 80% 이상의 높은 전자공여 능이 확인되었다. ABTS radical cation decolorization을 측정한 결과 유근피는 물과 70% ethanol 추출물에서 96.8±2.9%의 높은 항산화활성이 측정되었으며, antioxidant protection factor 측정에서는 물추출물과 에탄올 추출물 모두 200 μg/mL의 phenolic 농도에서 BHA 보다 높은 2.5 PF의 높은 항산화력이 확인되었다. 유근피 추출물의 thiobarbituric acid reactive substance를 측정한 결과 물 추출물과 에탄올 추출물 전 농도에서 약 80%의 높은 항산화 효과를 나타내었다. 유근피 추출물의 항고혈압 효과를 살펴보기 위하여 angiotensin converting enzyme 저해활성을 측정한 결과 물 추출물에서 약 50%, 70% ethanol 추출물에서 58.5%의 저해 활성을 나타내었으며, 200 μg/mL phenolics의 처리농도에서 물 추출물이 77.4%, 70% ethanol 추출물에서 90.6%의 저해활성을 나타내었다. 유근피 추출물의 항관절염 효과를 살펴보기 위하여 xanthin oxidase 저해 활성을 측정한 결과 물 추출물에서는 억제 효과를 관찰할 수 없었고, 70% ethanol 추출물에서 30%의 억제효과를 나타내었으며, 200 μg/mL phenolics의 처리 농도에서 48.1%의 억제력을 나타내었다. 유근피 추출물의 염증 억제효과를 측정하기 위하여 hyaluronidase 저해활성을 확인한 결과 물 추출물과 ethanol 추출물에서 70% 이상의 높은 저해 양상을 나타내었으며, 50 μg/mL phenolics의 낮은 농도로 처리하였을 경우에도 80%의 항염증효과를 나타내었고, 처리한 phenolic compound의 농도가 높아질수록 억제효과가 높아져 농도 의존적인 양상을 나타내었다. 기능성 식품으로의 활용을 위한 방안으로 유근피 추출물을 함유한 tablet(정제)를 개발하고, 개발된 제품의 관능평가를 실시한 결과 색깔의 관능평점이 8.3으로 평가되었고, 맛과 향은 8.8과 8.6의 높은 관능평가 점수를 획득하였으며, 전체적인 기호도 역시 8.7점으로 높은 평가를 받았다. The phenolic compounds which were extracted with 70% ethanol from Ulmus pumila for 12 hr were the highest as 17.9±1.0 mg/g. DPPH scavenging activity of 70% ethanol extracts was also the highest as 89.5±1.9% and it was confirmed to be high as 80% over in both of water and 70% ethanol extracts containing 50 μg/mL over phenolic concentration. ABTS radical cation decolorization activities of water and 70% ethanol extracts were higher as 96.8±2.9%, antioxidant protection factor (PF) was 2.0 PF in 70% ethanol and showed higher activities in both of water and 70% ethanol extracts containing 200 μg/mL phenolic concentration as 2.5 PF than BHA. TBARs of 70% ethanol extracts was 86.5±4.6%, it showed high anti-oxidative activity in 50∼200 μg/mL phenolic concentrations of water and 70% ethanol extracts as 80% over. The angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity of Ulmus pumila extracts against hypertension was 77.4% and 90.6% in water and 70% ethanol extracts of 200 μg/mL phenolic concentration. Xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity of Ulmus pumila extracts for anti-gout effect was not observed in water extracts, but it showed 30% inhibitory activity in 70% ethanol extracts, and 48.1% at 200 μg/mL phenolics concentration.
시각장애인의 학습을 위한 텍스트 추출 및 점자 변환 시스템

The number of visually impaired and blind people is increasing, but braille translation textbooks for them are insufficient, which violates their rights to education despite their will. In order to guarantee their rights, this paper develops a learning system, HunMinJeomUm, that helps them access textbooks, documents, and photographs that are not available in braille, without the assistance of others. In our system, a smart phone app and web pages are designed to promote the accessibility of the blind, and a braille kit is produced using Arduino and braille modules. The system supports the following functions. First, users select documents or pictures that they want, and the system extracts the text using OCR. Second, the extracted text is converted into voice and braille. Third, a membership registration function is provided so that the user can view the extracted text. Experiments have confirmed that our system generates braille and audio outputs successfully, and provides high OCR recognition rates. The study has also found that even completely blind users can easily access the smart phone app. 시각장애인의 수는 증가하고 있지만 시각장애인을 위한 점역 교재는 부족하여 본인의 의지에 관계 없이 교육권을 침해받는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 시각장애인의 교육권을 보장하기 위해 점자책으로 나오지 않는 교재나 문서, 사진 등을 보호자의 도움 없이도 혼자 쉽게 공부할 수 있게끔 도와주는 학습 시스템을 다룬다. 장애인 접근성을 고려하여 어플리케이션과 웹페이지를 설계하고 점자 키트는 아두이노와 점자 모듈을 이용하여 제작한다. 이 시스템은 다음과 같은 기능들을 지원한다. 첫째, 원하는 문서 또는 사진을 선택해 OCR을 이용하여 텍스트를 추출한다. 둘째, 추출한 텍스트를 음성과 점자로 변환한다. 셋째, 회원가입 기능을 제공하여 추출된 텍스트를 다시 볼 수 있도록 한다. 다양한 실험을 통해 점자 출력, 음성 출력이 정상적으로 작동하는 것을 확인하고 높은 OCR 인식률을 제공하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 시각이 완전히 차단된 상태에서도 어플리케이션이 손쉽게 이용 가능하다는 것을 확인했다.
