Recently, variety of organic and inorganic hybrid materials have recently investigated as alternative routes to SiOC, $SiO_2$ thin film formation at low temperatures for applications in electronic ceramics. Specially, silicon based polymers, such as polycarbosilane, polysilane and polysilazane derivatives have been studied for use in electronic ceramics and have been applied as dielectric or insulating materials. In this study, Polycarbosilane(PCS), which Si-$CH_2$-Si bonds build up the backbone of the polymer, has been investigated as low-k materials using a solution process. After heat treatment at 350$^{\circ}C$ under $N_2$ atmosphere, chemical composition and dielectric constant of the thin film were $SiO_{0.27}C_{1.94}$ and 1.2, respectively. Mechanical property measured using nanoindentor shows 1.37 GPa.

문항반응이론을 이용한 원격교육환경에서 사회적 실재감 측정도구의 타당도 검증

본 연구는 원격교육에서 사회적 실재감 측정도구의 타당도를 검증하고 활용방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 Kim(2010)의 측정도구를 가지고 문항반응이론의 Rasch 모형분석을 실시하였다. 도구는 상호지원 및 집중, 정서적 유대감, 공동체감 및 개방적 커뮤니케이션의 4개 하위영역의 총 19개 문항으로 이루어졌다. 분석 자료는 기존의 국내 5개 사이버대학의 재학생들의 설문을 통해 수거된 유효응답자 492개의 표본을 사용하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선, 문항의 적합도 분석 결과 외적합도수가 기준치인 1.50 이상으로 나온 1개 문항을 제거하는 것이 적절한 것으로 판단되었다. 둘째, 기존 도구에서 구인을 측정하는 데 사용된 5점 척도의 유용함을 분석한 결과 각 응답범주가 명확하고 유용하여 5점 척도의 사용이 타당함을 검증할 수 있었다. 셋째, 문항난이도 분석을 통해 개인들의 속성을 모두 측정할 수 있도록 비교적 난이도가 골고루 분포되어 있음을 확인하였다. 다만 개인의 속성 점수가 매우 높거나 매우 낮은 부분을 측정하는 문항들이 중간부분에 비해 상대적으로 적게 분포되어 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 사회적 실재감의 영역별 속성, 변화 양태에 따른 연구와 구체적이고 실천적인 교수법을 제안하는 연구 등 많은 영역과 주제에 본 도구를 활용할 수 있음을 제시하였다. This study is purported to verify the validation of social presence scale and represent its application in distance education. To meet its purpose, this study applied Rasch model based on item response theory to analyze Kim`s social presence scale (2010) among others. This scale was composed of 19 items from 4 domains such as mutual attention and support, affective connectedness, sense of community and open communication. The data used in this study was 492 samples valid for analysis that was collected from the students surveyed from 5 cyber universities in Korea. The result of analysis is as following. First, the appropriateness of overall items would be better adjusted with deletion of 1 item. Second, 5 response categories used in the instrument are confirmed to be appropriate to measure individuals` responses. Third, item difficulty analysis showed that items are well distributed to measure overall individuals` attributes but not the ones with very high or low social presence. Based on this result, this study suggested the application of the scale in such a way that it can be used in many studies using 4 domains and developmental attributes of social presence resulted from this study and suggesting specific and practical instructional methods. It is expected that this scale can be elaborated and generated by being used in many forthcoming studies.

공기 베어링 효과를 고려한 HDD 서스펜션 시스템의 트랙탐색 동특성

Recently, almost all hard disk drives employ the rotary actuator system. The performance of an HDD depends on the accuracy and speed of tracking motion. We study the dynamics of head-suspension assembly during track seek. We develop the numerical analysis program to study the dynamic characteristics of HDD suspension system considering the air bearing effects. The track seek simulation by using the developed program helps to estimate the effect of the suspension vibration on the air bearing dynamics. We calculate the behaviour of the air bearing for the given track seek profile and calculate the positioning error during track seek process due to the lateral deflection of the suspension.

Effect of Tween 20 on the Penetration of Ketoprofen through Excised Rat Skin

The effect of Tween 20 on the penetration of ketoprofen in aqueous vehicles through excised rat skin has been evaluated. The addition of Tween 20, up to 2%, in water containing ketoprofen decreased the penetration of ketoprofen through the skin compared with the reference vehicle without this surfactant. However, the addition of Tween 20 in ketoprofen aqueous vehicle increased diffusion parameter significantly which was compensated with the lowered partition parameter.

한계전단변형률 개념을 이용한 터널의 지반이완하중 평가

터널의 지반이완하중 산정방법에는 이론식, 경험식, 수치해석적인 방법 등이 있는데 이론식과 경험식은 실무에 적용하기에는 많은 한계점이 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 그 중에서 수치해석적 방법이 지반이완하중 산정에 필요한 모든 매개변수를 고려할 수 있고, 지반과 지보재의 상호작용을 모사할 수 있기 때문에 보다 합리적인 방법이라 판단하였다. 수치해석 결과를 바탕으로 명확한 지반이완영역을 결정하기 위하여 Sakurai(1981)의 한계전단변형률 개념을 이용하였다. Stable region의 경계영역인 Level 1의 지반이 완하중고를 산정한 결과 지반등급 3까지는 지반이완하중이 산정되지 않았고, 지반등급 4, 5에서는 기존 산정방법들에 비해 지반이완하중고가 작게 산정되어 보다 경제적인 콘크리트라이닝 설계가 가능할 것으로 판단하였다. After studying the characteristics of three different evaluation methods of rock load; namely theoretical method, empirical method and numerical method, there were too many limitations for them to be applied on tunnels. Therefore, in this research paper, the method based on numerical analysis is selected to use as this method is the most reasonable one since it considers all parameters that are necessary for rock load estimations, and it also considers the interaction between ground and tunnel support. The critical shear strain concept formulated by Sakurai (1981) was used in order to measure exact rock load values based on numerical analysis. Evaluation on a Level 1 rock load height, which is depicted by the stable region in the graph shows that rock load is not affecting between ground grade 1~3, and it was evaluated that the fourth and fifth grades show less values of rock load height which led to the conclusion of a more economical design of concrete lining.

영어권 및 국내 독서치료용 도서 비교 분석 - 인문학적 독서치료의 필요성에 관한 제안 -

This study analyzes the spectrum of recommended books for adults included in the bibliotherapy book lists commonly used in libraries and organizations in the UK, US, and Korea. While the recommended book lists in the UK and US retain a diverse range of books relevant to the practitioners' needs, the Korean bibliotherapy book lists are mostly made up of non-fiction self-help books regardless of where the bibliotherapy service is provided. In the subcategory of the bibliotherapy book lists in the UK and US, aside from fictions, books on "health, fitness, dieting" including medical books rank higher than any other kind, which shows that bibliotherapy claims to have therapeutic effects in those organizations. In Korean bibliotherapy book lists, on the other hand, so-called "psychology books impregnated with self-help ideology" take up more than 60%. With the prospect of bibliotherapy as an interdisciplinary practice in mind, I suggest that bibliotherapy should draw upon the insights from humanities in order to help participants have time for deep introspection and attain inner maturity rather than just try to restore their normal conditions before the crisis. 본 연구는 영국, 미국, 우리나라에서 많이 사용되는 독서치료 도서목록에 수록된 성인 대상 독서치료용 도서의 스펙트럼을 분석한다. 영미권 독서치료 도서목록이 독서치료를 주관하는 기관이나 단체에 따라 구성상의 다양성을 보이는 것에 비해 우리나라의 성인용 독서치료 도서는 주관 기관에 따른 차이 없이 논픽션이 압도적인 비중을 차지한다. 세부적인 카테고리에서 영미권 대학 및 공공기관의 독서치료 추천도서목록에서 가장 높은 순위를 차지하는 논픽션 도서는 의학 서적을 포함하는 "건강, 운동, 다이어트" 관련 도서이며, 이것은 이들 기관에서 독서치료가 임상적 치료 효과가 있는 어느 정도 전문적인 영역으로 인정받고 있음을 보여준다. 반면에 우리나라의 독서치료 도서목록에 수록된 도서들은 인문(심리), 자기계발, 문학(에세이) 등 이른바 "자기계발 이데올로기와 결합한 심리학 서적"이 60% 이상을 차지한다. 연구자는 독서치료가 정신의학, 심리학, 문헌정보학, 인문학적 배경을 바탕으로 하는 학제적 실천이라는 인식 하에, 독서치료가 인문학적 통찰에 의존함으로써, 참자가들에게 단순히 책을 읽고 문제적 상황이나 증상 이전의 상태를 회복하게 하는 것이 아니라 삶과 세계에 대한 깊은 성찰을 통하여 내적으로 성숙한 인간으로 변모하는 데 도움을 주어야 한다고 제안한다.
