$MgTiO_{3}$에 $CaTiO_{3}$, MgO, CaO를 첨가하여 고주파 유전특성을 조사하였다. 온도계수가 zeo $ppm/^{\circ}C$에 접근하는 ($Mg_{0.915}Ca_{0.085})TiO_{3}$ 조성에서 유전상수값은 22, Qxf 값은 50000, MgO를 0.1mol 첨가한 조성에서는 유전상수는 17, Qxf값은 131000, CaO를 8mol% 첨가한 조성에서 유전상수는 20, Qxf 값은 52000을 나타내엇다. $MgTiO_{3}$에 $CaTiO_{3}$를 단독으로 첨가하는 경우보다 MgO와 CaO를 동시에 첨가할 때 보다 높은 Q값을 갖는 $MgTiO_{3}$계 세라믹스를 제조할 수 있었다. Microwave properties of $CaTiO_{3}$, MgO and CaO added $MgTiO_{3}$ ceramics are investigated. In the composition of $(Mg_{0.915}Ca_{0.085})TiO_3$, dielectric constant($varepsilon _T$) was 22, Qxf value was 50000, and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($gamma_T$) approached to near zero $ppm/^{\circ}C$.$MgTiO_{3}$ ceramics with 0.1 mol of MgO showed the highest Qxf calue of 131000, dielectric constant of 17, and r, of -$50ppm/^{\circ}C$. Dielectric constant of 8 mol% CaO added to $MgTiO_{3}$-MgO was 20. Qxf valus was 52000, and sf was zero $ppm/^{\circ}C$. $MgTiO_{3}$-Mg0-Ca0 system showed higher Qxf value than ($Mg_{1-x}, Ca_x$) Ti03 system.

TiO2 sols were prepared by hydrolysis and polymerization of titanium tetra-isopropoxide (TTIP) in the presence of diethanolamine (DEA). The optimal mole ratio of water to TTIP is 2 and the concentration of the TiO2 sol 0.7 M. Golden TiN films without cracks were obtained by dipping Si(110) wafers into the TiO2 sol and followed by nitridation in NH3 at 1100$^{\circ}C$ for 5 h. The TiN films were studied by an optical microscope, DTA, TGA and X-ray analysis.
Ni-Zn ferrite의 Ni/Zn비 변화에 따른 EMI 비드 필터 특성 연구

저역 통과 필터인 페라이트 비드의 특성은 페라이트의 복소투자율의 주파수 분산거동에 의해서 결정된다. 본 실험에서는 Ni-Zn페라이트의 Ni-Zn페라이트의 Ni/Zn 비 변화에 따른 복소투자율에 주파수 분산거동을 조사하고 이것이 필터의 삽입감쇠 거동에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 본 실험은 결과 초투자율이 비교적 크고 필터로서의 민감도도 우수한 Ni/Zn 비가 $0.41{\sim}0.47$인 조성이 페라이트 비드필터용으로 가장 적합함을 알 수 있었다. The properties of ferrite bead, a low-pass filter, are determined by the frequency dispersion of the complex permeability. In this study, frequency dispersion of complex permeability of the Ni-Zn ferrites with different Ni/Zn ratio were investigated. Relationship between the behavior of filter and dispersion of complex permeability of a ferrite was studied. As a result, it was concluded that the compositions for Ni/Zn ratio of $0.41{\sim}0.47$, having high initial permeability and good sensitivity, were favorable as a ferrite bead filter.

The behavior of Ni-Zn ferrite/Mn-Zn ferrite composite electromagnetic absorber was investigated. The imaginary part of complex permeability of the composite was higher than that of either ferrite alone at all frequency range (50∼1400MHz) studied. The difference, which was pronounced in low frequency range, was reached the maximum value when the composite consisted of constituent ferrites with equal amount. Since the thickness in inversely proportional to the imaginary part of complex permeability for the ferrite absorber, it was possible to reduce the thickness of electromagnetic absorber by employing a composite of two different ferrites.

Three models for the transformation of ferrite chip noise filter that has jagged type of electrode into cylinderical ferrite beadfilter were presented. The properties of filters were also calculated based on the proposed models. The measured properties of ferrite chip noise filter with jagged-type electrode fabricated with Ag electrode and Ni-Zn ferrite revealed that the model 3 was the best one to describe the behavior of filters. In particular, the calculated values of model 3 agreed well with measured ones as functions of electrode patterns and chip thickness. The present study showed that the properties of fiters could be designed by theoretical models and fabricated with required characteristics.
유전체 원주공진기법에 의한 고주파 유전특성 측정에 관한 연구

Measurement factors for the dielectric properties of low dielectric loss materials (tan${\dalta}{\le}10^{-4}$) were investigated using the dielectric rod resonator method. It was shown that the relative conductivity (${\sigma}_{r}$) should be controlled within a 5% to obtain the standard deviations of less than 0.07 for permittivity .epsilon.r and 0.06${\times}10^{-4}$ for tan.delta.respectively. Surface resistivity (R$_s$) could be reduced when the surface roughness of parallelled conducting plate was less than 0.07 .mu.m. Measurement error for the permittivity was $\pm$0.02% independent of probe loop size, whereas the error in Q value was reduced with the decrease in probe loop size and also with the increase in the absolute values of Q. Reliable Q values were determined with the probe loop size of less than 4mm. The accurate for the distance between the measuring probe loop and the sample could be obtained when the insertion loss of resonant frequency ranged -15dB - -30dB.

본 실험에서는 낮은 음의 온도계수를 갖는 저온 소결 유전체에 대해 연구하였다. 새로 개발된 재료의 조성은 Ti$O_2$(100-X) CuOx(X=1~5wt%)에 미량의 Mn$O_2$를 첨가 하였다. CuO를 첨가하지 않은 경우에는 저온 (90$0^{\circ}C$) 에서 소결이 진행되지 않았다. CuO 함량이 증가할수록 저온에서 소결이 가능하였으나, 유전율이 낮아지고 유전손실은 증가 하였다. Mn$O_2$를 0.6wt% 첨가한 경우 유전율과 Q값이 가장 높게 나타났다. Low-firing dielectric materials with negative small temperature coefficients were investigated. The newly developed materials are based on Ti$O_2$(100-x)/ CuOx(X=1~5wt%) with small amount of Mn$O_2$ additive. The sample without CuO was not sintered at 90$0^{\circ}C$. As CuO content was increased the sample could be sintered at low temperature. However, the dielectric constant was decreased and the dielectric loss was increased. In the case of adding 3wt% CuO and 0.6wt% Mn$O_2$, the dielectric constant and the Q values appeared very high.

Ferrite electromagnetic wave absorber whose attenuation ability are mainly relied on their magnetic loss, has been used in relatively narrow wave frequency ranges. In this study, we tried to produce a wide-range electromagnetic wave absorber by laminating sintered ferrite (Mn0.07Ni0.28Zn0.65Fe2O4) and dielectrics (Cordierite). We also investigated effects of dielectric constant and thickness on the attenuation behavior of the absorber. Applicable band width, in which the attenuation is greater than 20 dB can be widened from 100∼700 MHz of ferrite alone to 100∼900MHz by employing the laminated structure. Thickness of dielectrics to achieve wide-range application decreased as the dielectric constant increased.
