벤처기업 투자 심사를 위한 정성 평가 지표의 유효성 검증: 사례연구

최근 벤처캐피털의 운영 펀드 규모의 지속적 증가에 따라 투자 심사역의 업무도 대폭 증가하고 있다. 그러나 투자 판단은 심사역의 역량에 따라 많은 차이를 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 '벤처 투자 실무 평가 지표'에 대한 후속 연구로서 투자 심사 평가 지표의 유효성을 검증하고자 하였다. 연구는 먼저 평가 지표를 표준화한 후, 100개 벤처 기업을 대상으로 t-검증을 실시한 결과, 투자 심사 평가 지표들은 유의미하였고 정성 평가 지표의 유효성 역시 약 85%의 적중률을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구결과가 향후 벤처기업 투자 의사 결정력 제고에 나름 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. As the size of venture firm's operating funds continues to increase, the scope of work of the investment jurisdiction is increasing dramatically as well. However, investment decisions vary widely, depending on the competence of the judges. This follow-up study recommends verifying the validity of the effectiveness of venture investments by validating the efficacy of assessing venture investment indexes. After verifying the assessment indexes for 100 venture firms, the study noted that the efficacy of the survey as a qualitative evaluation measure was approximately 85% hit, which can act as a yardstick for investment decisions. The results of this study can contribute toward the decision making power of venture companies in terms of investments.

벤처기업 투자를 위한 실무 평가 지표와 해석

본 연구는 벤처캐피탈의 투자평가 시 심사역의 직관과 경험 위주의 투자 행태에서 벗어나 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 실무 투자 평가 지표를 도출하고 지표별 해석을 통해 벤처기업 투자 평가 효율성 제고를 목적으로 하였다. 연구를 위해 벤처캐피탈 심사역 65명을 대상으로 설문분석과 AHP 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 벤처캐피탈의 벤처기업 투자결정에 가장 중요한 평가요인은 시장 관련 요인들이었으며, 투자를 희망하는 벤처기업에게는 시장접근성, 경영자 기술/경영 경험 및 추천/평판 등이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. This paper suggests objective practical investment index for venture capital investment evaluation, deviating from investment behavior that relies on venture capitalist's intuition and experience. To deduct universally valid practical venture investment index, We conducted a survey of venture capitalist 65 and analyzed the data using AHP method. The results show that when VCs determine whether to invest in a venture or not, market related factors are considered most important. For venture companies who hope to receive investment from VCs, market access, CEO's technical / managerial experience, and recommendation/reputation are considered as crucial factors.

호텔리어의 온ㆍ오프라인 사회적 네트워크가 경력계획 및 경력성공에 미치는 영향

This study aimed to investigate the structural relationships among on-offline social network, career planning, and career success. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, it was found that offline social network had a positive effect on career planning. It revealed that strong offline ties had positive effects on information access, career support and management. Second, it was found that online social network had a positive effect on career planning. Third, unlike the previous studies that individual career management had a positive impact on objective career success such as promotion and salary, it was found that career planning did not have a positive effect on objective career success. Fourth, it was found that career planning had a positive effect on subjective career success. Fifth, it was found that offline social network had a positive effect on objective career success. Sixth, it was found that offline social network had a positive effect on subjective career success. Seventh, it was found that online social network had a positive effect on subjective career success. Eighth, unlike the previous studies that the intimacy through online network had a positive effect on career support, it was found that online social network did not have a positive effect on objective career success.

정부 R&D 재정지원사업의 매개 효과 실증 사례 연구: 중소기업을 대상으로

우리나라 중소기업은 저성장 경제 환경 및 기업 간 치열한 경쟁 심화로 기업 스스로 기술혁신을 통한 성과 창출이 절실한 실정이다. 하지만 대다수 중소기업은 자체기술개발 역량과 열악한 재정으로 인하여 시대적 환경변화 대응에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소기업을 위한 정부 R&D 재정지원사업이 실제 기업경영성과 향상에 이바지하는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 국내 코스닥 상장 기업 중 정부의 R&D 재정지원사업을 통한 연구개발 수행 경험이 있는 262개 중소기업을 대상으로 하였고, 실증분석은 Baron and Kenny(1986)의 매개 효과 측정방법을 활용하여 가설검증 하였다. 연구결과, 기술혁신 역량은 기업경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 특히 정부의 R&D 재정지원사업을 활용한 기업 대다수가 기업경영성과 제고에 도움이 된 것으로 나타남으로써 매개 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 중소기업은 스스로 제품·서비스혁신역량, 공정혁신역량과 같은 기술혁신 영역의 역량 강화를 위한 노력과 함께 다양한 정부의 R&D 재정지원사업에도 적극적인 참여와 관심이 필요할 것으로 사료 된다. As the changes require from massive competition and low economic growth, all industries in Korea have tried to increase their business performance by enhancing the technological innovation. But It is not easy for small and medium companines (SMEs) to react the rapid changes because of lack of human resources for internal technological R&D capabilities and financial stability. Our study have tried to find out how the R&D fund from government into SMEs effects the business performance of the companies. 262 of SMEs in KOSDAQ and have been supported by R&D fund from government were selected to analyze and Baron and Kenny (1996) was utilized. Our study found that R&D fund from the government for SMEs have a positive effect on the performance of companies and also have explained the mediating effects of the R&D fund on the relationship between technological innovation capabilities and business performances of the companies. From our study results, SMEs should try to enhance their innovation capabilities on the product and process sector and also, keep the focus on the R&D fund policy and support from the government.

설비 유지․보수 투입 기술 인력의 효율성 측정과 분석:

천연가스(Natural Gas)산업은 친환경 에너지 산업의 하나로서 NG 공급관련 설비 유지․보수는 안전과 원활한 공급을 위해 매우 중요한 업무이다. 그러나 고압 NG관련 유지․보수사업은 독점구조로 인해 관련 연구가 부재하고 적정 투입 기술 인력에 대한 측정과 산출방법 또한 마땅치 않은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 실제 유지․보수사업 주관 공기업을 대상 으로 현장 투입 기술 인력에 대한 효율성 측정과 분석을 통해 적정 투입 기술 인력규모를 산출하고 개선방향을 제시하고 자 하였다. 연구절차는 유지․보수분야의 기술계통도(Technology Tree)를 정립하고 이를 토대로 핵심 기술과 투입산출 요소를 도출한 후, AHP와 DEA(CCR/BCC)효율성 분석을 각각 실시하여 연구 결과의 신뢰성을 제고하였다. DEA 분 석 결과, 총 8개 지사 중 효율성이 높은 준거집단(RG)지사는 4개 지사였으며, 개선이 필요한 나머지 4개 지사(DMU)에 대한 투입 기술 인력 규모 제시와 함께 기술 인력 관리제도 개선 노력도 함께 필요한 것으로 나타났다. The natural gas (NG) industry is a vital green energy industry. Facility maintenance and repair work comprise crucial parts of the NG business. This study focuses on a state-owned company (monopoly business) for maintenance and repair of the inputs of skills, efficiency, and streamlining technical workforce through efficiency measurement and analysis. The research procedure adopted is as follows. The first procedure involves the establishment of a technology tree of terminal equipment (facility) maintenance and repair (M&R) technology, and supply equipment M&R technology. The second procedure involves selecting the core technology of supply equipment M&R technology, through analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and “Law of Pareto” and the third procedure involves extracting input/output elements for the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model. In order to conduct a survey and analyze the efficiency of M&R, we used AHP and the DEA model. In addition, the DEA model was used to ascertain the actual field reliability, while analyzing each of the DEA-BCC/CCR models. As a result of the analysis, four branch offices are rated as highly efficient and the remaining four branch offices are mandated to undergo improvements.

중소 SI기업의 프로젝트 관리 생산성 향상을 위한 평가와 진단

본 연구는 중소 SI기업들을 대상으로 프로젝트 관리 현황을 조사 분석함으로서 향후 중소 SI 기업들의 프로젝트 관리 생 산성 향상에 기여하고자 하였다. 연구절차는 우선, 프로젝트의 정의와 SI 프로젝트 관리의 특징과 한계점을 살펴보고 SI 산업 관련 외부 전문가를 대상으로 계층분석모형(AHP)을 통한 평가 기준을 선정한 후, 5개 중소 SI기업을 대상으로 프 로젝트 관리 역량에 대한 평가와 진단을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 5개 SI 기업들의 평균 프로젝트 관리 성숙도(CMMI 2기 준)는 약 60%로서 이중 3개 기업(S,R,I)은 ‘거의 충족’ 수준에 도달했으나, 나머지 2개사(F,A)는 일부만 충족하는 것으 로 나타났다. 특히 프로젝트 관리 영역 항목 중 ‘통합관리’, ‘범위관리’, ‘조직관리지원’ 등은 양호하였으나, ‘프로세스 개선 의지’ 등의 관리 영역은 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 프로젝트 관리 생산성 향상을 위해서는 SI 프로젝트 관 리 항목별 취약 영역에 대한 개선 노력과 함께 PMO(Project Management Office)조직이나 관련 공공기관의 지원 제 도도 적극 활용하는 것도 좋은 방법이 될 수 있을 것이다. 특히 프로젝트 관리의 성패는 최고 경영자의 의지에 달려 있으 므로 장기적이고 전사적인 지원과 격려도 함께 뒤따라야 할 것이다. This study aims to contribute to the future improvement in project management productivity for small and medium-sized system integration (SI) companies by analyzing five companies’ management areas that present a scope for improvement. This research first looks at the definition and limitations of SI project management and selects evaluation criteria through the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) model according to the opinions of relevant experts from outside the industry. Then, it evaluates management competence. As per the results, the project management maturity(CMMI Level 2)is 60% on average, and three companies (S, R and I) have reached “almost satisfied” but two companies (F, A) are “partially satisfied”. This means that “integration management,” “scope management,” and “organizational management support” among items in the project management domain show satisfactory results, but “willingness to improve the process” is needed . Therefore, in order to improve the productivity of project management, SMEs themselves should redefine essential practices to implement for project management and actively utilize a Project Management Office (PMO) or solicit related public institutions. In particular, success in project management depends on the senior management and should be accompanied by continuous and long-term efforts.
