ACCUMULATION OF HEAVY METALS IN KOREAN MARINE SEAWEEDS

This paper reports that the heavy metal accumulation in marine seaweeds. Algal samples collected from Korean coast were analyzed to determine the concentrations of Cu, Cd, Cr, Zn and Pb. In general, heavy metals were found to be concentrated in many kinds of Korean seaweeds. The concentration levels of accumulated heavy metals in the marine seaweeds was in the following order: Zn > Cu > Cr > Pb > Cd. The concentrations of the heavy metals in the seawater were the highest in Iyajin harbor. Sargassum horneri, a brown alga accumulated high concentrations of Cu (80.66 ${\mu}g{\cdot}g^{-1}$ dw) and Cr (31.54 ${\mu}g{\cdot}g^{-1}$ dw). The high concentrations of heavy metals were accumulated in the brown algae.

학교인권환경이 학업중단 의사에 미치는 영향: 학생자치활동을 중심으로

This study evaluates potential factors in various levels that affect students' intent to leave school. Those levels include individual, family, and school. After thorough review of literature on related subjects, the data from 「2021 Youth Survey on Human Right Conditions」 will be analyzed. Binary logistic regression analysis shows several results. First of all, respondents' age and sex strongly influence students' intents to leave school. Secondly, in terms of effect size, respondents' age is strongly related to the dependent variable in all models. Third, compared to those variables in individual and family levels, the effects of variables in school level are more significantly related to the intents to leave school. Finally, the significance of the effect of students' independent activities in school on the intent to leave school implies that students' voluntary and independent activities in school could decrease students' frustration in school and increase motivation to stay in school in certain ways.

소아에서의 Ceftriaxone 투여에 따른 거짓담석증: 불필요한 수술의 방지를 위하여

Gallbladder stones in children are not common without underlying hemolytic diseases or other risk factors like obesity. Ceftriaxone, a third generation cephalosporin, is known to make biliary precipitations that can be mistaken for biliary stones. We here report two children with biliary pseudolithiasis with different treatment modalities. One child was mistaken for symptomatic gallbladder stones and underwent elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy, while the other child, after thorough history taking on the ceftriaxone medication, was suspected of biliary pseudolithiasis and was treated conservatively. Both children had the history of usage of ceftriaxone in previous hospitals for infectious diseases. The ceftriaxone history of the first child was missed before the surgery. When gallbladder stones are found in children without any underlying diseases, specific history taking of the usage of ceftriaxone seems to be absolutely required. In this case, immediate interruption of the antibiotic could resolve the episode and avoid unnecessary surgical procedure.

Angiolipoma of the Breast: A Case Report

An angiolipoma is a common mixed connective tissue tumor that commonly occurs in the trunk and extremities, and has been rarely reported in the breast. It is a benign variant of a lipoma that shows various appearances on mammography. It is usually seen with a well circumscribed homogeneously hyperechoic pattern on ultrasound. We report a rare case of an angiolipoma of the breast with no definite abnormality on mammography, appearing as an irregular homogeneously hyperechoic lesion on ultrasound.

서울시 공공도서관 운영 분석을 통한 서비스 성과관리 설계의 방향성 연구

본 연구는 서울지역 공공도서관의 운영 분석을 통하여 서비스 성과관리 설계의 방향성을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 「제2차 서울시도서관발전종합계획(2018~2022)」과 「제3차 도서관발전종합계획(2019-2023)」에 따른 서울시의 시행계획을 연계하여 분석하고, 서울시민의 공공도서관 서비스에 대한 인식도 조사를 종합하여 정책개발 쟁점을 도출하였다. 이어 서울시 25개 자치구 173개 공공도서관의 투입지표와 자료서비스, 프로그램 이용실적, 웹이용, 상호대차 등 서비스 현황을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 자치구별 도서관 서비스의 성과를 가시화 할 수 있는 성과관리 방향성을 제시하였다. 구체적으로 공공도서관 서비스 성과관리를 위하여 전략목표와 핵심과제의 선정에 내실화, 성과관리의 범주 설정, 이용자 중심의 성과지표 개발, 정성지표 한계점 개선 등의 방안을 제안하였다. 물리적인 투입지표의 부실로 인하여 산출지표로 표현되는 서비스의 질적 저하가 우려되는 개연성이 있기 때문에 투입을 강화하는 한편, 이들 지표 간의 관련성이나 인과관계를 논리적으로 설명하기 위한 성과관리체계의 구축을 통하여 서비스 격차의 해소를 독려할 필요성이 있다. The purpose of this study is to present the directivity of outcome management through the analysis of public library operations in Seoul. For this purpose, author evaluated the public library policies by linking the 「Metropolitan Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan 2018~2022」 and 「The Third Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan: 2020 implementation plan」 and compiled to draw up the issue of policy development on the awareness of public library services by Seoul citizens. Nest, author analyzed and compared the core infrastructure, collection services, programs and activities of 173 public libraries in 25 local governments. Based on these results, author suggested the directivity of outcome management as follow. All public libraries in Seoul must emphasize the development scope and management methods of the performance indicators. For outcome management, this study emphasized building a strategy planning with the development procedures of performance indicators, categorizing outcome management indicators, developing user-centered indicators, and improving qualitative indicators. As there is a possibility that the quality of services expressed in the output may deteriorate due to the failure of the physical input indicators, it is necessary to strengthen the input and encourage the resolution of the service gap by establishing a performance management system to logically explain the relevance or causal relationship between these indicators.

30% 과산화수소를 함유한 전문가 미백제의 안전성 평가

30% 과산화수소를 함유한 전문가 미백제인 레메화이트(Remewhite, Remedent Inc., Deurle, Belgium)를 시험군 피험자 37명, 시험용 미백제에서 과산화수소를 제외한 동일한 제재를 대조약으로 대조군 피험자 34명에게 1일 3회씩, 2차례에 걸쳐서 시행하였다. 미백의 임상적 안전성은 전기치수검사, 치은염증지수, 지각과민증, 이상반응, 활력징후 등을 통하여 평가하였다. 미백시행 직후, 14주 후, 26주 후에 평가하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 30% 과산화수소를 함유한 전문가 미백제를 임상적 적용시에 전기치수검사 결과에서는 미백 전후에 차이가 없었다. 치은염증지수, 지각과민증 평가 결과에서는 시험군에서 다소 경미한 통증 반응이 나타났으나 시간이 지나면서 사라지는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 30% 과산화수소를 함유한 전문가 미백제를 사용하여 미백시에 임상적 안전성을 확인할 수 있었다. This study evaluated the safety of an office bleaching gel (RemeWhite, Remedent Inc., Deurle, Belgium) containing 30% hydrogen peroxide. 37 volunteers were received office bleaching with the RemeWhite for 3 times at one visit, total 2 visits. As control group, the same gel in which hydrogen peroxide was not included was applied to 34 volunteers with the same protocol. There was no difference between experimental group and control group using electric pulp test. In the result of gingival inflammation index and tooth sensitivity test, there was mild pain response in experimental group but it disappeared as time went by. Therefore, safety of the office bleaching gel containing 30% hydrogen peroxide was confirmed.

전문대학도서관의 자료 및 서비스에 대한 인식 연구 - S여대도서관을 중심으로 -

이 연구는 S여대도서관 이용자를 대상으로 전문대학도서관의 자료와 서비스에 대한 일반적 인식도 즉, 도서관의 이용빈도, 상대적 중요성, 이용목적, 불만족 요인, 자료와 서비스에 대한 만족도 등을 조사 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 700명을 대상으로 인식도를 설문조사한 후에 학년, 전공계열별로 이용상의 만족도 및 불만족 요인을 분석하고 개선방안을 제시하였다. This study is aimed to investigate and analyze the general perception of users on library collections and services of junior college libraries, including the use frequency, weight, use purposes, and unsatisfactory factors. In order to carry this purpose, the researcher investigated the perception of 700 students in S-women's college, analyzed the factors of use satisfaction and dissatisfaction by grades and major categories and suggested some alternative improvements.

인구감소지역 공공도서관 서비스를 위한 이용자 인식조사 연구 - 경북 의성군을 중심으로 -

This study was conducted as basic research for establishing a mid to long term development plan for libraries in Uiseong-gun, designated as a depopulated area. First, the social, cultural, and environmental characteristics of Uiseong-gun were analyzed and compared with the library infrastructure of depopulation areas similar in size with Uiseong-gun. In addition, a survey was conducted on the perception of users to understand the usage status of libraries, satisfaction with services and improvement plans, non-use factors, and demands for new libraries. Based on this process, the direction of Uiseong-gun library policy was presented. Specifically, four strategic directions for the development of libraries (future orientation, community revitalization, service specialization of the information poor, enhancement of local humanities and spiritual culture) and five key service tasks (building library brand, implementing innovative spaces and services, expanding library functions for improvement of settlement conditions of residents, developing and providing services for the elderly reflecting local characteristics, promoting reading culture) were derived. The proposed core tasks focused on future-oriented library services to overcome the limitations of a population decrease area and develop the potential of Uiseong-gun.
