        키토산 분자량에 따른 Rhodamine 6G-Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate계의 응집효과에 관한 연구

        Chitin was extracted from crab shell of Portuns triberculatus and deacethylated to yield chitosan with various molecular weights. The absorption and the fluorescence spectra of Rhodamine 6G(Rh 6G)-sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and Rh 6G-chitosan systems were obtained. From the spectra, we observed that the absorption and the fluorescence intensity of Rh 6G-SDS system decreased when S/D(the concentration of SDS to that of Rh 6G ratio) was below or at 32, while they increased when S/D was above 32. From the suspended solid(SS) removal rate and the transmittance of Rh 6G-SDS-chitosan system, we found that when S/D ratio was 32 its flocculating behaviour was much stronger than Rh 6G-SDS system. As the concentration and the molecular weight of chitosan increased, we also found that S/D range was extended from 32 to 100. With increasing the molecular weight of chitosan, the SS removal rate increased around pH 2~9 but decreased remarkably at pH>12. 산업폐기물인 꽃게의 껍질로부터 chitin을 탈아세틸화시켜 분자량이 서로 다른 chitosan을 제조하였다. Rhodamine 6G(Rh 6G)-sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)계 및 Rh 6G-chitosan계들의 흡수 및 형과 spectra를 조사하였고, chitosan의 분자량 및 pH에 따른 Rh 6G-SDS-chitosan계의 응집효과에 대해 조사하였다. Rh 6G-SDS계의 흡광도나 형광세기는 S/D(SDS 농도/Rh 6G 농도)=32 이하에서 감소하다가 그 이상에서 다시 증가하였다. 부유물질(SS) 제거율이나 투광도로부터 S/D=32에서 chitosan을 첨가한 Rh 6G-SDS-chitosan계의 응집 성능이 Rh 6G-SDS계에 비해 훨씬 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 chitosan의 농도나 분자량이 크면 클수록, S/D 첨가 범위는 32에서 100까지 확대되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 부유물질의 제거율은 chitosan의 분자량이 클수록 pH 2∼9에서 우수한 성능을 가지는 반면, pH 12 이상에서 부유물질의 제거율은 현저히 저하되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

        Thionin - Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate 계의 상호작용에 있어서 염 및 유기용매의 첨가효과에 관한 연구

        양이온 색소인 thionin(Th)과 음이온 계면활성제인 sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) 사이의 상호작용을 흡수 spectra로 고찰하였다. 임계미셀농도(critical micelle concentration, CMC)보다 훨씬 낮은 premicellar 영역(S/D=10, 80및 160)에서 온도가 증가함에 따라 몰 흡광계수비가 증가하거나 감소함을 볼 수 있으며, S/D=160에서 Th-SDS계의 다분자 회합체가 생성하는 가장 안정한 온도 범위는 60℃ 이하임을 알 수 있었다. 한편 Th-SDS계에 첨가한 무기염 및 유기 용매의 농도가 증가함에 따라 γ-band와 J-band는 감소하나 α-band는 오히려 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 이들의 α-band의 증가 순서는 무기염의 경우 Cl^- > ClO₄^- > SO₄^(2-) > NO₃^-로 나타나며, 유기용매인 경우는 2-propanol>ethanol>methanol>ethylene glycol로 나타남을 알 수 있다. The interaction between the cationic dye, thionin(Th) and the anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) has been investigated by absorption spectra. As the temperature of surfactant solution was increased in premicellar range(S/D=10, 80, and 160) which was much lower than the critical micelle concentration(CMC), the increment or decrement of the molar extinction coeffecient ratio appeared. It was found that the most stable temperature range of the oligomer aggregate in Th-SDS system at S/D=160 was below 60℃. With increasing the concentration of inorganic salt and organic solvents in Th-SDS system, α-band was increased, but γ-band or J-band was decreased. The orders of α-band increasing power were Cl^- > ClO₄^- > SO₄^(2-) > NO₃^- and 2-propanol>ethanol>methanol>ethylene glycol.

        Acridine Orange 와 Aerosol OT 사이의 상호작용에 관한 염효과의 연구

        AO-AOT계내에서 S/D의 증가에 따라 흡수 및 형광 spectra의 변화 양상이 감소하다가 증가함을 알 수 있으며 희합 및 해리가 일어남을 알 수 있다. 그리고 온도 상승에 따라 순수한 AO계에서는 흡광도가 증가하나 premicellar영역(S/D=10, 20, 50 및 80)내에서는 흡광도가 오히려 점차 감소한다. 한편 AO-AOT계에 첨가한 염의 농도가 증가함에 따라 metachromasy 소멸도는 증가하나 NaNO₃의 경우는 이와 반대로 나타난다. 이러한 염의 양이온에 대한 metachromasy 소멸도의 증가 순서는 Li^+, Na^+>Mg^(2+)>Ca^(2+)이며, 염의 음이온에 대해서는 Cl^->SO₄^(2-)>NO₃^-로 나타남을 알 수 있었다. The changing shape of absorption and fluorescence spectra with increasing S/D in AO-AOT system decreases and then increases again. The aggregation and disaggreation in AO-AOT system occurres. According to increasing temperature, the absorbance increases in pure AO system. But it gradually decreases in premicellar range(S/D=10, 20, 50 and 80). The disappearance degree of metachromasy according to the concentration of added salt to AO-AOT system is increased. However, the case of NaNO₃ is reversed. The order of disappearence degree of metachromasy on cationic salts is Li^+, Na^+>Mg^(2+)>Ca^(2+), and the order of it on anionic salts is Cl^->SO₄^(2-)>NO₃^-.

        Pyronine G 와 계면활성제 사이의 상호작용에 관한 연구

        Pyronine G(PG)와 계면활성제 사이의 상호작용을 흡수 및 형광 분광학적으로 조사하였다. PG-AOT계 내에서 γ-band의 최적 조건은 S/D(계면활성제의 농도)/PG의 농도)의 80 부근에서 가장 좋았으며, 그 이상에서는 stacking 형태가 점차 파괴되는 해리현상이 일어남을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 양이온 및 비이온 계면활성제계들이 첨가되면 PG 단위체의 흡수세기가 증가하였다. 한편, PG-AOT계 내에서 NaCl 농도가 증가함에 따라 S/D < 10까지는 γ-band의 흡수세기가 감소하였다. 그러나 S/D>20에서는 흡수세기가 큰 차이를 보이면서 증가하였다. NaCl를 첨가한 PG-AOT계는 NaCl를 첨가하지 않은 계보다 더 큰 해리현상이 일어남을 알 수 있었다. The interaction between pyronine G(PG) and surfactants has been examined by the absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The optimum condition for γ-band in PG-AOT system was found when S/D(concentration of surfactant / concentration of PG) was in the vicinity of 80. The disassociation of stacking conformation occured gradually at S/D>80. In PG-cationic and nonionic surfactant systems the absorptivity of monomeric PG increased. With the increment of the concentration of NaCl in PG-AOT system, the absorptivity of γ-band decreased at S/D < 10 but, increased remarkably at S/D>20. PG-AOT system with the addition of NaCl showed greater dissociation than that without the addition of NaCl.

      • 有機色素分子와 陰이온 界面活性劑 사이의 相互作用에 關한 吸收分光學的 硏究

        The metachromatic behavior of methylene blue (MB) ia aqueous solution and in the presense of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) have been studied by the absorption spectroscopic method. The results are as follows. The association force of the MB molecules in aqueous solution seems to be complex of three factors, i.e., London's dispersion force, the hydrophobic interaction and the interaction between permanent dipoles it has been measured of critical micelle concentration (CMC) in aqueous solution of SDS and that of MB-SDS to be 8.0mM and 7.9mM respectively. This indifference between CMC values of the pure SDS and MB-SDS system would mean the formation of dye-rich induced micelles(drim). The spectral changes of MB-SDS system with the addition of the inorganic salts have been observed. The addition of the salt into the solution causes the redistribution of MB molecules in the complex(D_n^+ S_m^-). It would be resulted from the decrease of the stacking effect between the bound MB molecules. The spectral changes observed in the MB-SDS system with the increase of the S/D values are analyzed and the behavior of the meta band is explainsd in terms of the stacking theory and micelle formation theory

      • Toluidine Blue O-Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate 계내에서 용매효과에 관한 연구

        수용액 내에서 toluidine blue 0(TBO)와 sodium dodecy1 sulfate(SDS) 사이의 상호작용을 흡수 spectra로 고찰하였다. TBO-SDS 계에서 SDS의 농도에 따른 흡수 spectra의 변화 양상이 metachromasy (meta-)현상임을 알 수 있었고, 단파장에서 새로운 흡수대(γ-band)가 출현하였다. 그리고 TBO-SDS 계에 있어서 임계미셀농도 (critical micelle concentration, cmc)들은 순수한 SDS의 이것보다 낮다는 것을 확인하였다. 한편 TBO-SDS 계에 있어서 stacking 파괴효과는 유기용매에 따라 다르게 나타나는데, 그 크기의 순서는 1,4-dioxane > ethanol > ethylene glycol로 나타나며 상대점도가 매우 낮은 유기용매에서는 stacking 파괴효과와 밀접한 관련이 있을 것으로 사료된다. The interaction between toluidine blue 0(TBO) and sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) in aqueous solution has been investigated by absorption spectra. It can be found that according to the concentration of SDS in TBO-SDS system the change shape of spectra was metachromasy phenomenon, and the new absorption band(γ-band) at shorter wavelength appeared. We confirmed that the critical micelle concentrations(cmc) at TBO-SDS systems was lower than that of pure SDS. It appeared that the effect of the stacking destruction according to the organic solvent at TBO-SDS system was differently with one another. The size in order was 1,4-dioane > ethanol > ethylene glycol. The low relative viscosity of organic solvent seems to have very close relation with the effect of stacking destruction.

      • Methylene blue와 Sodium Bis(2-ethl hexyl) sulfosuccinate 사이의 용매효과

        The metachromatic behavior of methylene blue(MB) with sodium bis (2-ethyl hexyl) sulfosuccinate(AOT or Aeorsol, OT), reversed micelle has been studied by absorption spectra viscosity, and refractive index. The effect of organic solvents(methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, and ethylene glycol) on the spectra has also been investigated. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) values of MB-AOT system are found to be 2.0mM and 2.1m M by means of the method of measurement of spectrophotometer and viscosity, respectively.

      • 유기색소분자(MB)와 고분자음이온(PVS)사이에 염효과에 관한 연구

        The metachromatic behavior of methylene blue(MB) in aqueous solution and in the presence of polyvinylsulfate potassium(PVS) was carried out by use of absorption spectroscopy. The salts examining the addition effect were salts (NaCl, KCl, LiCl, NH_4Cl, CH_3)_4NCl and urea). The remarkable increment of methylene blue aggregation with increase of various salts concentration was observed. This phenomenon is due to couter ions from salt which presumably reduces the repulsion force among the molecules of cation dye. In this study, the degree of aggregation appeared differently according to the addition of various salts and these effect was ascribed not only to concentration of counter ions, but also to cation of the salts. The characteristic changes of metachromatic band with the change of P/D value were discussed in terms of stacking theory. The appearance of metachromatic band is explained as a stacking effect of bound dye molecules on the surface of polymer chain and the disappearance of the band at higher P/D values is attributed to the redistribution of bound dye molecules over the excessive binding sites.

      • Cationic Dye와 Anionic Surfactant 사이의 상호작용에 관한 용매효과의 연구

        Methylene blue(MB) with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) micelle has been studied by the absorption spectra, viscosity, and refractive index. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) value of MB-SDS system was found to be 3.5x10^(-3)M by means of the relative viscosity. The addition effect of organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, and ethylene glycol at MB-SDS system has also been invested. The destruction of stacking for their solvents was the order of isopropanol > ethanol > methanol > ethylene glycol. The viscosity and refractive index were found to have not. relation with the effect of stacking destruction.
